Came here before burgers were good and fast service but after remodeling ordered pick up and was told it'll be ready at 8:34pm so I waited outside and it gave me the option to put that I was outside waiting since no one was allowed inside. Cars came after and started lining up a car came infront of me and the workers supposed they came before me so they got their food and left by the time it was 8:45pm. My food was still not ready. They came out to ask me twice what the name of my order was after I told them my order and my name when they came around asking the orders of the cars in line what was their order. Mind you I ordered my food at 8:20 and at that time there was no cars and I told them when I was on the way since it allowed me to do that on the website. I got my food at 9pm almost an whole 30 minutes after I was told my order would be ready. Got the food and was like whatever. Started eating my burger and halfway through found a mushroom when I ordered no mushrooms. It was by the onions husband didn't believe it was a mushroom until he looked closer at it. I'm allergic to mushrooms so I always make sure I always order without mushrooms and my husband doesn't eat mushrooms so I'm not sure how it got in my burger but I ended up having an allergic reaction since they weren't careful in what they put in my burger and put a mushroom. I know they couldn't have known that I'm allergic to mushrooms but they could be more cautious when putting together burgers. I've never had a problem before this time. I'm sure I'm never going back to this location again. read more

Husband went to pick up dinner. Order was wrong, he told the employee she looked in his bag. How many burgers did you order she asked. 3 he replied, knowing the fries were probably OVER SALTED as well. Her response was, ok I'll take this you get back in line and start over. Amazing, let me not forget to state that her tone and demeanor was very disrespectful. If you are over 50, FIVE GUYS IS NOT FOR YOU. THEY ARE OFFENEDED BY AGE. read more

We ordered a large order online, we clicked the link to let them know when we were on our way. We called once we got there and the lady on the phone told us to pull up front. After waiting over 15 minutes out front, I went in to see what was going on. They had the food sitting on the counter and when I told the man we have been waiting over 15 minutes outside. He replied "We are really busy and have no one to run it out." I said "Why didn't anyone say that or just call us to come in?" He just shrugged it off. I understand that businesses get busy but a little communication would have went a long way. I'm extremely disappointed in the customer service at this location. read more

Just had the worst experience at this location! I placed an order online, & paid w/my card. Opted for curbside pick up. I'm parked out front, waiting on an employee to bring out my order, & nothing. Ppl kept walking in & out the restaurant, so eventually I ended up having to go in & get my food after waiting like 15-20mins. What's the point of offering online ordering & curbside pick up, if the establishment won't utilize it? read more

I have a high standard for Five Guys restaurants. I've never had a bad experience at any of their abundant locations. Driving through Toledo, a buddy and I decided to stop for some grub, naturally gravitating toward the local Five Guys. Despite the fact that this was my fourth cheeseburger meal in a row (yes--I had one for breakfast), my experience at the Toledo Five Guys caused me to raise my standard for Five Guys as a chain considerably. Not only was the food prepared efficiently and not only did it smack, but the guy working fries tonight filled my bag to the brim with delicious fries. The fries overflowed three-fold from paper cup. I only ordered a "little" for the Pete's sake, but this employee went above and beyond the role of a fryer to answer a call from the Fry-god himself. I will truly savor this visit to Five Guys for some time to come. read more

I found Five Guys burgers to be very shallow and pedantic. The burgers are extremely over priced!

A bit on the pricey side for a burger but well worth the money. Everything is always fresh and made correctly. Family and friends all love us some Five Guys! read more

The best burgers in Toledo, hands down nobody else is even close. In fact the only place to have a better burger is in&out and you can't find one of those on this side of the country. The fries are top notch too, fried in peanut oil, keep that in mind for allergies but for those that aren't allergic the peanut oil brings out a great flavor. read more

I love the Coca-Cola machine (it's the customizable computerized one!). I enjoy the burgers, but they make a delicious hot dog! You can get it with all the same burger toppings. It goes well with a little cheeseburger. read more

Five Guys is a great place to hit up if you're looking for a great burger that is fairly quick to order. The burgers are bigger than your typical burgers, and the toppings available are of a decent variety (my favorite is the A1 sauce). I recommend this place if your looking for a delicious burger at a great price. Also, their fries are fresh and delicious, and just like the burger, comes in huge portions that I recommend sharing with a group. read more

Deliciousness on a bun....our order is always correct with more than we can eat fries and the burgers are fab no matter how we request them....once you have Five Guys...you cannot go back to a Wendy's or any other fast food chain.....great in the door camraderie! read more

You know for what it is it just makes me happy. I want a straight forward cheese burger and fries. I should take a star away due to them offering a hotdog. Has anyone ever tried it? Why would you? I need a straight forward burger fix and they are consistent and cure the craving. read more

This is not your average burger joint! Well ok it is but the burgers are exceptional! You can get basically anything you want on it and if you're not sure they are happy to help you out. Not much room for sitting though, so you either need to grab a table fast or just get it to go. Eating outside is an option during the warmer time too. The drink options are amazing. It seems a little pricy but the quality and amount of food is worth it. read more

For the cost of a supersize valuegarbage, you can get a fresh all beef burger with anything on it and a ton of hand cut french fried goodness. Not as good as in-n-out but much better than the super chains. read more

Yes it's a chain. Yes it's in and out and there's not really anything to the dining in experience. But damn if these aren't some amazing burgers. Hand cut fries (yes, probably frozen, but fresher than most) and cooking in peanut oil make it the best "fast food" experience there is. read more

I went to Five Guys recently for the first time, and it served up the best burger I've had in a long time. The fresh vegetables are crisp, the buns are soft, and the meat is juicy and perfectly cooked. It is a huge bonus to get free toppings like grilled onions and jalapeños. It isn't every burger joint where you can order your burger with green peppers and A1 sauce, or maybe even hot sauce if you're in the mood. Seriously, I couldn't ask for more in a burger; it was perfect. The icing on the cake is the fresh-cut french fries which are exactly what real fries should be. You can even get them cajun-style if that's your thing. Oh, and word to the wise, even the "small" fries will probably be enough for two normal people. You get a decent cup-full PLUS a scoop of bag fries. The prices are good for the quality and quantity of product, and the service was pretty fast considering the line was practically backed up to the door. My only complaint is that seating is extremely limited. Five Guys is a popular place (and for good reason), so you might not get a seat if you show up on a Saturday night. This is my new go-to burger place in Toledo. If I'm going to blow my daily calorie budget in a single meal, I might as well do it in style and get maximum enjoyment out of the experience. read more

Five guys is awesome. When you walk in you're greeted by bags of potatoes and free peanuts. They offer a wide variety of toppings and condiments which is great, but be careful not to overdo it. The french fries are delicious and they always top it off very well. For 2 people, a small fries should be enough. Make sure to get them cajun too! The meat is very high quality and the burgers are always put together very neatly. Everything tastes pretty fresh. It's a little more expensive than the other (crappier) fast food joints, but it's well worth it for a good treat. read more

One of the best burger places around. Service is surprisingly fast considering how busy they usually are. The burger was thick and juicy, lots of premium toppings to choose from. The fries are fresh cut and their "little" portion would easily serve two people. read more

Green tomato slices, modestly seasoned beef and sloppy construction earned 3 stars. I find the price disturbing for 2 once the little cheeseburgers fries and beverages are added together. Perhaps that's why there're nuts. There are worse. read more

When a Toledo shopping trip is in the cards, Five Guys is one of our go to places. Their burgers remind me of In & Out Burgers from out on the west coast. Though it is a chain, the burgers have a much better taste than the standard chain variety of places. All of the usual burger toppings are available but can make eating a fully loaded burger messy. Their standard burger comes with double patties so be careful when ordering if you only desire one patty. Their fries are very, very good. The regular order of fries is enough for 3-4 people to share so don't be tempted to order the larger order of fries unless you have a big group to enjoy them with. I like the bigger than normal sized cups they provide for ketchup dipping! It can get crowded in there and the dining room doesn't allow for much room to maneuver between the tables. Their fountain drinks are full flavored and have even tried the nice assortment of teas that they offer. read more

This is the second time I have eaten here. Both times food was great! Kids love it! Only wish the restaurant was bigger. Bring a group risk not getting a seat. I would come back here again and again! Yum! read more

Don't expect a complicated menu or anything all that special, Five Guys is simply a quick way to get a good burger and some delicious fries for a fair price. I experienced Five Guys on the east coast a few months ago and so far the quality is unmatched and consistent. The toppings are basic, but fresh looking and tasting. The cheeseburgers, bacon cheeseburgers, or regular hamburgers come stacked with fresh meat, never frozen, and plenty of fries. In fact, their large fry is enough for a small family to enjoy. The menu also includes hot dogs and grilled cheese. read more

Great, great burgers! Loud with talking, cooking, and fun. Love it. This is a burger with "soul"!

I love the burgers here. It's nice to order all those different toppings and not pay extra for everything. Their fries are great too if you have room after the huge burger! read more

Stopped in here yesterday.. everything is fantastic! Cashier was very nice. Wait time was short and burger was delicious. Highly recommend..

Best burgers and fries in Toledo. Fast enough for lunch hour but not fast food. Watch the fries, regular order good for two, large order good for three people. The first one I went to in Florida was fun because the staff had attitude. Would like the Toledo gusy and gals to bring it on! read more

Was not that impressed my 1st time here but the freshness makes you come back!!! Nothing ground-breaking but its better than the big chain burgers by far!!! read more

Five Guys Burgers and Fries... Just saying the name of the place makes my mouth water. I love a good, greasy burger, and that is Five Guys' specialty for sure. When you order a burger, you also pick everything that goes on it- sauces, cheese, and toppings. This allows for some crazy custom burgers. The fries are seasoned and absolutely delicious every time (you definitely don't need ketchup). And there is the added bonus of free endless peanuts with your meal! The drink machine is a crazy high-tech Coca-cola contraption that lets you get any soda made by coke, and gives you the option to add flavors like cherry or vanilla to the soda. You can never go wrong with a Five Guys burger, of you ask me. read more

I don't get it. This place is way over-hyped. Greasy crap that reminds you what you've eaten 6 hours later...burrrrrp. I've had better burgers at Burger King...and much cheaper too. Fries are meh as well. Never going back. read more

Tried it, won't go back. The burgers are fresh, but even with loads of toppings, nothing special. The fries, while a big order, are very greasy and no flavor at all. The place is crowded, noisy and frankly, I don't care for the free peanuts and shells all over the floor. There are many places in this area to get a really good burger and fries and this is NOT it. read more

Fast, friendly and always on point. Nothing fancy, just a great option for a classic burger & fries. Enjoy picking my own toppings to how I'm feeling that day--grilled onions, green peppers, jalepenos & A1 for a "cheesesteak" kinda flavor; lettuce, pickles ketchup & mayo for a classic....And the fries, sooo good! read more

The people who enjoy this place are those who want to pay more for McDonalds in order to feel better about their eating habits. Let me break this down for you. The environment is a fun environment for a restaurant. There's lots of free peanuts, an old diner feel and people moving and shouting all around you. It reminds me of a less dressed-up version of In-N-Out burgers or Mighty Fine burgers in Texas. However, the food is no where near the quality. The burger meat is good quality, but the bun is how you know if you're getting a well-cared for burger. What a bun tells you about a burger joint is whether or not the place wants you to have a well balanced experience, not just fast food. The buns at Five Guys are the EXACT same small-and-cheap buns used by Burger King. There are seeds on top, yes, but the bread falls apart when you put anything on them. Then there are the excuse for french fries this place sells. High quality french fries are made from real potatoes and cooked properly. They should be double fried in order to retain a sense of crispiness on the outside. The french fries at Five Guys are made from real potatoes - as near as I can tell - but they are single fried and use the wrong type of potato. So when you dig into that large pile of starch, let's hope you like a bag full of soggy mush that drips with grease. Save yourself some money and go to McDonald's instead. Or, treat yourself right and get a REAL $7 burger... somewhere ELSE! read more

Best burger on West central- very good service and quick might I add! I enjoy the atmosphere and how attentive the workers are!

The first time I went there was because my friends said that it was the best burgers in town so I tried it and if was amazing first they take your order then the give it to the grill guy then the grill is right in front of u as u watch exactly what u put on your burger and if u have kids they will most Likely think that it is cool that the make it right in front of u read more

First visit to a Five Guys, Central Avenue, Toledo, Ohio, 1:50p, 6/21. After my order was placed, I waited 15 minutes for my order to be done. Simple, burger dressed with fries, no drink. When given my order besides my order being stuffed in the bag, the rest of the bag was filled to the top with enough fries and napkins to feed the entire population of Toledo. The restaurant was well over-staffed as well. I've had better burgers! Bad experience! read more

I go here all of the time, the staff is very friendly and talks to me while they are just cleaning the lobby and make me feel very welcomed. everything is made to order so it is a few minutes to wait, but it is so worth it in the end. Their fries though... are absolutely heavenly with malt vinegar and ketchup. The only reason I did not give them a full five stars is because I don't think they have enough seating and the bar stool chairs are slightly uncomfortable. read more

One of the best places to get a burger. You just pick 1 or 2 patties with options to add bacon and cheese for extra cost. Then you pick from a variety of condiments and toppings at no additional cost. I generally get a cheeseburger or little cheeseburger with mustard mayo grilled onions lettuce and tomato. Fries are made fresh from potatoes (not frozen like other fast food places like McDonald's). They generously fill uo the bag with fries. A regular size is comfortably enough for 2 people. Not to mention the coke machine is one of those where you can add extra flavorings to your drink. One of my favorites is the peanuts that you can help yourself to. read more

We had never been here before, so the lady behind the couter explained how things work. Its a pretty simple menu, but lots of delicious options. There was a newspaper article on the wall that said "this is what burger places used to be before corporations took them over and stole their soul"... or something like that. And that sums it up. They have excellent burgers. Juicy, flavorful, and by far the best I have ever had. And plenty of fries which we good as well. The burgers are really, really, good. Nothing is frozen. I dont know what else to say. It has simple but inviting decor, a simple menu with not a lot of items, but lots of options, and really good food. And they also have those really cool pop dispensers like you see at Univeral in Orlando, which give you dozens of drink options including no calorie (yur probably not to worried about that if your ordering a burger lol). I was hesitant to come, especially with my experience of most fast food burger places (i,e. McDonalds, Burger King). On my cheat day, when I allow my self to eat something that is actually good... I'm coming here. read more
