Arrived there today 5/15/20 about 6:45 to pick up my order...As I stood there I notice that ONE employees did NOT have a mask on at all and a SECOND one "being the manager" good going TIA !! - !!! she at least "TIA" had her mask on under her chin, (exposing her mouth and nose )talking to the customers , and the other girl, didn't have one on at all...Ashley..... I surely hope that ALL parties were checked for COVID-19 as 1 hamburger was for my elderly mother....after we thought about it, got GROSSED out, went to speak to manager/TIA and she said, she's hot so no mask. I'd rather have my fries normal size. But, they're not soggy and gross like I remember... Instead, they're actually pretty tasty -- They taste like super skinny versions of McDonald's fries. And that's a bonus. And last but not least... The milkshake. I got the Oreo milkshake. It was huge. And it was really good. No complaints. And the best part about the whole experience -- two burgers, two sets of fries, a grilled cheese for the kiddo, a soda, and a milkshake cost $21 after tax. Wow. An obligatory "say something about the restaurant" moment... It was clean, well staffed, and had a really friendly host/manager. He came to all the tables and welcomed you and asked if you needed anything. Very friendly for a restaurant where a whole family can eat for just about $20. So after 20 years, Steak 'n Shake you're back in my good graces.
