The burgers were thick and meaty super fresh and tasted really good. The fries we got tasted fresh and well-made, but they weren't so hot which is to be expected when ordering delivery. I did a drive through and ordered two different types of burgers for my husband and me. The order was incorrect. They gave us the exact same type burger. The bun was stale, the cheese not melted and it was tasteless plus not even warm. neither my husband nor I could finish it. I've always preferred Wendy's to Mc Donald's. Where to begin with everything that went wrong here ... This was my second visit at this location. The first time, they got my son's burger all wrong. He only wanted a patty and pickles, and they put loads of sauce on, exactly like he did not want (he's a picky 8 year old). I'll forgive it though. Stuff happens. Tonight, I ordered for my whole family. They were out of pickles and out of jalapenos, and the smug kid behind the counter couldn't have cared less. I asked for my burger "all the way except no mushrooms". They loaded it up with mushrooms. My wife's burger was undercooked, practically bleeding. The fries were over salted, and didn't have the usual crisp I'm used to at other locations. Top it all off with a meal that cost $62 to feed my family (5 burgers, two large fries, one soda and five waters), and I'm downright pissed off. The people cooking and taking orders were very sweet. The cheeseburger was terrible - overcooked and dry. What a joke that they are "made to order." It tasted like it had been around for days. We ordered the smallest size fries which were ridiculous, enough for 4 people, and were the soggiest, greasiest most inedible fries I have ever had in my life. This place in Park City is kind of a cross between a Chuck E. Cheese and a work camp for socially awkward teens. I have been here several times to make sure I had a good cross-section of dates and times and the experience has been consistently horrible. Health Warning: Make sure you have plenty of fresh Imodium if you eat the free peanuts. For those of you recently returned form the gulag or a desert island, opened cases of these roasted peanuts are there for all patrons. I watched kids lick their fingers and dig into the nuts with bare hands, people have sneezed into the boxes and I actually saw one adult open several peanuts while waiting in line, eat the nuts and throw the shells back in the box. GROSS. The tables are wiped by a Stevie Wonder trainee (Not intending to disrespect the Stevie, BTW) but apparently hitting 40 pct of the table with a filthy rag counts as sterilization in this place. The burgers have NEVER been built properly for any of my dining companions and I wonder if a condiment of "pickles" is achieved with one anemic see through cuke slice. Sautéed onions are always conspicuously absent and the various other toppings are randomly assigned to any burger in the order leaving the patrons to assign, by lottery, the winning burger because none of them are marked in the bag before the fries are thrown on top and crowned by an empty cup that I guess you are supposed to use to collect the fries in as you spelunk to the top of the first burger. At least at In-n-Out, the teen order takers have adult supervision, but in this place I suspect the adults are bound with duct tape and locked in the broom closet. Don't even get me started on the inconsiderate patrons who push and shove their way through the queues at the drink bar and I certainly hope you can hover above the toilet as the restrooms are so filthy that it'll put you off the food here even if you haven't eaten for a week. Don't forget the overflowing trash cans, sports fans. All for eight bucks for a burger what a bargain - NOT! Wasatch Bagels has a much better burger for less money and a staff that is friendly and is actually old enough to drive. read more

I'm not a fan of Five Guys in general, but this has to be one of the worst stores in the entire franchise! I eat here, usually out of desperation, because this location is close to my condo and it's open late. I'm a low carb eater so I get the double burger without the bun, but the meat portions are SO tiny and SO overpriced that it's borderline ridiculous. Thank god for the free peanuts! The staff here is friendly but often get confused; I have only had my burger made as ordered one time. Once. If you run a burger restaurant where guests can choose their own toppings, you need to make sure you can honor that and keep things straight. They do earn 1 star for having those cool multi-flavor Coke machines (but lose another star because they are frequently out of most of the flavors and drinks). Fail ----- I've never been a fan of Five Guys and I could never put my finger on the exact reason why until recently -- it's their horrible, awful cheese! One I started ordering burgers without cheese, I didn't hate it quite as much. The burgers are far from tasty but they are fine. The quality just isn't that great. At least the portions are reasonable and you will fill up nicely. The regular burgers are all double patties -- a fun gimmick, but it's not like the patties are thick or anything. The toppings menu is adequate but once again, the quality disappoints. The fries are so greasy and so good, just like those East Coast fries you'd get on the Jersey boardwalk in the summertime. Grand opening today... packed to the gills with novelty-seeking customers. The atmosphere was festive with an obvious emphasis on making a good first impression. Staff was well-prepared and friendly, the food orders came out efficiently, and there were complimentary communal in-shell peanuts to draw from and munch on while the short wait for my order. The majority of the staff seemed like old pros that had been brought in as ringers to get things off the ground. Makes sense. But what happens to service quality/efficiency when they all leave. I am looking at you nearby Del Taco drive-thru. ::: Peanuts ::: The free (as in free!) peanuts were tasty making the wait go faster. Plus, these salty legumes conjured warm and fuzzy childhood memories of feeding elephants at the zoo, minus subjecting my hand to their proboscic slime (you know, of the Class 5 Full Roaming Vapor variety). Squirreled away one of the goober peas in my pocket as a souvenir. Apparently Five Guys consider their peanuts to be classified not far below biohazard level four-- signage verbotened removing peanuts from the premises to avoid spreading the peanut allergen to save the children. No mention of aflatoxin though. Keep calm and carry on. On the way out, I devoured my terrified little purloined peanut for his future crimes (as to avoid any possibility of an Umbrella Corporation Red Queen-type facility's artificial intelligence quarantine decontamination scenario). Seriously though, I would be concerned if I had a peanut allergy since bits of shell, dust, and whatnot, plus the peanut oil from the french fries, are bound to be scattered and smudged throughout the dining area no matter what cleaning policy (well, anything short of turning the whole room into a humongous autoclave that cycles at high pressure saturated steam of 121 °C or higher for around 15-20 minutes after every meal). ::: Burger ::: Even though the burger is called the Regular it is actually more than a regular burger-- it is a double burger with two full patties of meat. With internally consistent nomenclature, the single patty burger is call the Little. Reminded of how the Starbucks calls their small coffee a Tall. This 2X patty system sadly does not extend to their hot dogs, grilled cheese, or BLTs. Perhaps consider renaming the Regular burger as "the Solid" burger to be more descriptive. Also, repetition for emphasis (like In-and-Out did in offering the now iconic "Double-Double.") Plus, ordering a "Solid-Solid" would resolve the patty number ambiguity. Just under a half a Baskin-Robbin's worth of free toppings are available to order with the burger: mayonaise, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, ketchup, mustard, relish, onions, jalapeno peppers, green peppers, A1 steak sauce, BBQ sauce, and hot sauce. Wowsers! "Make me one with everything" said the zen master. The Regular burger with everything gave the visual/tactile impression that it would be very-filling with its greasy heft and caloric gravitas. And it was. Like rice, it must have expanded after consumption in the stomach, being even more filling than expected. A Little would have been more than enough. Given low expectations set by years of being salt grenaded by fast food greasy spooners, it was a pleasant surprise that the Regular was balanced to absolute perfection in terms of salt content, even the condiments were best in show in terms of saltiness. The burger meat was super high-quality for fast food standards but not quite make a vampire drool. The tomato slices were fresh and thickly cut. The jalepenos and hot sauce were paeans to ennui-- may as well have been chunks of green bell pepper and water with red food dye. The mushrooms must have been out of a can-- gelatinous little grey/brown mochi-textured blobs. The sesame seeded bun was fresh but had a similar mushicidal tendency due to soaking up the burger grease like a sponge. In-and-out burgers are categorically better when it comes to the buns( since they grills/toasts buns to a wonderful crisp). That said, the Regular, washed down with a diet coca-cola, was a solid (but monotone) four out of five stars: "Yay! I'm a fan." Five Guys is a most welcome addition to Kimble Junction. They are no In-and-Out, yet totally blow nearby Wendy's, Del Taco, and McDonalds out of the commercial fryer when it comes to burgers. The food was similar to an In-n-Out burger place only with hot dogs and sandwiches. The burgers were small but pretty good, the fries were greasy but not bad. 5 guys in kimbal junction. Ate there today at about 4pm today. Ordered 4 little cheeseburgers and fries. Cheeseburgers were marginal. They weren't very hot, just slapped together, some patties hanging out, bun was smashed flat. Wendy's is much better. Worst part was the place was dirty. Front doors and windows were literally covered with mud. The patio tables weren't clean the floor looked like it had spilled milk shakes that were days or weeks old.
