I ordered a Barbacoa Burrito for takeout and the food was nicely packaged up in to-go containers. First look, the serving size was great for what you pay for. Additionally, the presentation was great, with a variety of different sauces and toppings with the burrito--they also had extra homemade sauces on the side which tasted great. After taking my first bite, my evening lit up with the excellent flavor of the food. Since it was a good serving size, I felt full and also satisfied with the taste. My food was delivered via UberEats, so service and ambiance not a factor, the food was delicious and I highly recommend! Honorable mention--they had legitimate fried tortillas!

We found Tarahumara on Yelp and the reviews looked good and it was still opened so we decided to call in our order for pick up. The restaurant is located in a plaza so there is plenty of parking around. It was almost closing time so no one was inside. Pollo asada burrito (3/5): This was okay. The chicken didn't taste grilled? Maybe the flavor got lost in the burrito and sauce. Maybe I am too spoiled with California mexican food. I don't know what it was smothered with on the outside but it tasted like I was eating a pizza with the red sauce and melted cheese. They have a sauce and salsa bar where you can grab as much as you want. The salsa was spicy but good. I also got the creamy chipotle sauce and it was definitely spicy. The order sat at the counter for a bit because we weren't sure if it was ours. The order came with chips as well.

They had a limited menu due to Sundance and their busy season. We got a couple appetizers to share, and everything came out quickly. Everything was good, not great. They do have a great location right on Main Street and a patio as well.

My wife ordered a plate of chicken flautas, my boys got a chicken and a shrimp fajitas, and I got a taco plate w/ rice and beans. The food was average...a tad on the bland side. Their prices were a tad high for the quality of the food, but not unreasonable given their location in a tourist area.
