Just to clear the air here. The store was packed with back orders. I ordered my food around 4:45pm for a pickup time of 5:30pm. I didn't leave the restaurant til about 7:30pm. 7:30pm. The dining area got to about 2/3 of the room with people waiting for orders, including myself. A handful of people were complaining about the time they had to wait, and some asked me how long I waited. I told them, and with a surprised look on their face, they commented, "Man, I would have gotten a manager by now if I were you." To which I replied, "What's the manager going to do besides help their team get through the orders...". I wanted to be as calm as I could to help keep the peace; one bad attitude can lead to a chain reaction that's really not warranted. I also commented that things like this happen, people get sick and can't work, and use the resources you have now and get through it. Hopefully they saw my logic. I thanked the guy behind the counter after receiving the order and left, and some people there congratulated me for getting my order finally. lol I do want to say this. I applaud for the people who kept their cool and waited for their orders. But I wanted to thank the 3 workers there who pushed through it, and probably still pushing through the tickets that are still coming through. Management, give these 3 people a raise, or a bonus, or whatever incentive they can get. Give them thanks for what they had to endure. They deserve a lot of credit right now... read more

Needs to clean house and tech employees the golden rule and basic service standards. The associated referred to me as an asshole as I did not tip when all they offer is "counter service." Great way to win friend and influence people. The franchise owner should look at their terrible reviews and realize there is a management issue there. Addition by subtraction. Missing the beacon Ruined the Meal I ordered three items: 1. A bacon burger with lettuce, jalapeños, peppers, and mayo 2. A bacon hot dog 3. A burger all the way The cashier, Nidea, was great--she took my order correctly and was super friendly. The issue came from the kitchen. My bacon burger came with no bacon, barely any mayo, and wilted lettuce. The bacon hot dog also had no bacon. Only the "burger all the way" was made correctly. After a 20-minute drive there, a 15-minute wait, and 20 minutes back home, I opened the bag to find a disappointing and sloppy order. The food looked sad and tasted just as bad. You can never go wrong with Five Guys--the food is always on point. My only gripe is with the Coca-Cola Freestyle machines they use. They're often messy, splash everywhere, and if you don't let it run for a few seconds, you end up tasting whatever the last person poured. It's a small issue, but worth mentioning. This place is fantastic. Everyone knows their burgers are clearly superior to McDonald's or Steak 'n Shake, and yes they're expensive but what do you expect with a premium product? The place has always been clean when I've been there, and the staff is usually awesome. (and management needs to terminate any workers with attitude - usually Five Guys has awesome staff that are friendly and doing a great job, but if not, fire their asses!!!) Their french fries are just about the best also. Don't listen to anyone complaining about price or size of the burger, they can eat all they want at McDonald's dollar menu then. Five Guys is our go to place whenever my husband and I are craving burgers. One, the burgers are super juicy. Two, you can pile on as many toppings as you want. And Three, the fries are to die for! My husband and I usually stop by Five Guys after a good gym workout. We consider it our "cheat meal". But since everything is closed and we haven't done much exercising as of late, we decided to just go ahead and add more pounds to our expanding waistlines. With the current social distancing situation, we opted for online ordering with countertop pick up. Online ordering was a cinch and got our confirmation number stating that our order will be ready for pick up in 8 minutes. It took us 11 minutes to get there from home. Our order was not yet ready as they wanted to make sure we were there and to get started on our French fries. Which was perfectly fine with me since I like my fries fresh from the fryer. And boy were the fries nice and crispy! Yummy! Our burgers were made exactly how we ordered them but the bun was just slightly smushed from them being wrapped in foil. But it was no biggie. The burgers were still delicious. We do appreciate the staff for taking the extra measures for protecting themselves and wearing their masks and gloves. How this place has a 4 star review is beyond me! The staff couldn't careless about being there. An I get it, it's not a great job. However, they aren't friendly in the slightest. When we ordered there wasn't a hi or hello, it was "what do you want". We give our order and surprise surprise, they didn't get it right. Honestly, the majority of the fast food burger places are like this and I shouldn't be surprised at all. Maybe it's because I rarely visit any of them anymore. First, the price is way to expensive for the size and type of burgers! My wife and I had hamburgers, fries, and drinks, and it was over $30.00! The burgers are small, smaller than McDonalds quarter pounders, and they charge a dollar extra for cheese if you want a cheeseburger. The burgers are about the same shape and size as a Steak N Shake burger, but with less seasoning. Note that both McDonalds and Steak N Shake charge less for their burger. The tables were dirty so we had to clean and wipe off our own table top. Overall it was too expensive, burgers small and not very tasty compared to other places, and tables not clean, so I won't be back. read more

We were on the keto diet for a while and were happy to find that they also offer a deconstructed burger in a bowl. They also have great fries which are always hot and fresh. However during COVID-19, Five Guys needs to step up their game starting with their app reporting "Ready At" times which was way off. Made an order ahead of time for my lunch break. I get there and everyone one in the kitchen is doing something but looked at me and ignored me for a few minutes. you could tell they were teen boys. I asked if my fries were done the first guy said no I asked if he can add Cajun seasoning instead of salt he said yes and went to tell the guy at the fry station. (Nobody had a name tag so I do not know they're names but he was an AA teen with dreads) he then starts mumbling under his breath no that it should've been on the receipt and how he was tired of people and how people have him fed up and he just kept going. I didn't say anything to him then. He came and aggressively called out 3 orders before mine and finally when he does basically slams it on the counter. I then snatch the bag and he starts saying don't snatch from me I tell him maybe if he had a better attitude I wouldn't snatch from him and continue to tell him about himself while the manager tries to calm him down. I walk out the store and my boyfriend went right in after me but him and the manager was gone. The manager seems nice. I'm so sorry to him and the rest of the employees who have to deal with someone like him. When Five Guys first came on the scene, it really stood out among all of the fast food burgers. The cooked to order burger and it's juicy-ness made it a steal. With the recent burger craze though, I think they have lost some of their claim to fame. They certainly still stand out if you are comparing it to a fast food burger - but I think their competitors are all of the other craft burger bars that exist now. Five Guys is a little faster and only slightly cheaper than those places though. A burger with everything, fries, and a drink will set you back over $12 or so. The fries, of course, are enough for 2 or more people. After not having Five Guys for more than 5 years, that first bite was still delicious. It was over way sooner than I wanted it to be. It was good - and everything about this location was just fine. The place was clean, service was friendly and fairly fast, and the free peanuts were free as always. I'm not sure if the burger experience is worth $7 - but when you want true comfort food in the form of 100% beef, these guys are consistent enough that you can know you'll get exactly what you're after. read more

One of my favorite chains for hamburgers. The options are unlimited on what you can put on them. More importantly, the burgers are really delicious. It is also my favorite place for french fries. I think they use peanut oil to cook the fries, and it makes them better. My only advice is that since the fries area little expensive, to share one order if you go with someone. read more

Being from DC, Five Guys is one of my favorites. I was in the mood for a burger after a long flight and stopped here for some comfort food. For being fast food, I would say that this is the best burger out there for that category. While you wait for your order, feel free to enjoy the free peanuts. Just scoop away! I had a bacon cheeseburger and fries. The burger was juicy and piping hot and the cheese was nice and gooey from the heat! The fries remind me of boardwalk fries from Maryland which makes me feel at home. When you sit down they have malt vinegar to douse them in and this is a definite must. The fries soak up the vinegar and the taste is just amazing!! I love that there are always so many fries that there are always some in the bottom of the bag. So I love me some Five Guys little cheeseburgers and Cajun fries. Five Guys is one of my favorite "fast food" burger joints to go to (although with my husband getting a bacon cheeseburger (their regular burgers consist of two patties!) and drinks for us both it certainly isn't quite "fast food" prices" lol). Don't get me wrong though, I still love it nonetheless. I love that I can literally customize it exactly how I want it .. with lettuce, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, jalapeños, mayo, and ketchup. And I seriously love their Cajun fries. A regular size of fries is perfect for two. For those trying to do without carbs you can get a lettuce wrap instead of a bun. The best fast food style restaurant to go to for burgers. Fast and the most friendly service, and an incredibly easy and customizable ordering experience. Since being vegetarian, I've liked it considerably less considering the only option they have for vegetarians is grilled peppers and onions with cheese on bread. As you can imagine, it was mediocre BUT I do appreciate having an option at all. It would be fantastic if they could add a veggie burger of some kind. Their actual burgers are unbeatable though. They are more on the expensive side - especially for fast food - but if you don't mind the price, I would highly suggest this place! Five Guys serves the best burger from a fast food chain restaurant (there's no In & Out in Florida) with the freshest meat in the burger business. I came in for my weekly cheat meal and I always order the same thing: bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, mayo, ketchup and mustard. The best part of eating at Five Guys is the fries. There's so much fries that I like to challenge myself and see if I can finish it all by myself. Out of the 20 times (estimate) I've eaten there, I can only recall finishing it by myself 3 times. Fries also tend to come out super hot and fresh out the fryer. My advice when you visit Five Guys is to avoid the peanuts and come with an empty stomach. When placing my order, the cashier added items I didn't order, twice, and initially refused to remove them from the order (a bottle of water, and a drink). Don't know if he expected it to just slip by, but definitely pay attention to the screen and carefully review your order before paying. The burger (I went with the little cheeseburger) was the standard Five Guys burger - juicy, plenty of toppings, and well seasoned. The cajun fries, however, were a few steps past being overdone; the seasoning just attempted in vain to mask the burnt potato flavor. As a DC native, I'm well acquainted with Five Guys and was very disappointed that this location misses the mark by such a considerable margin. There are other Five Guys locations (and comparable chains) close by, which may prove to be a more consistent option. read more

The meal is super delicious .. i couldn't even get my mouth around the burger. I think next time I'm getting the smaller one. Tried the Cajun flavored fries. The spice is good, but i was expecting a little more hot flavor. After eating half of my burger, i got up to get a drink refill, left my reading glasses and fries on the table ... i turn around and the food area attendant is wiping my table and clearing off my burger!! Didn't get to finish enjoying that!! Caught him before he threw away my fries. Keep a sharp eye on your food when someone is walking around with a wet towel!! People freak out over Five Guys like it's made from unicorn farts and angel tears. It's a burger. Yes, it's a good burger... but it's not the best burger. Considering the prices, it might even be considered the best valued burger out there... but if a Five Guys burger is the best burger you've ever eaten then you need to go somewhere where they make real food... like not Orlando. I like bacon, so I recommend you get your angel-tear burger with bacon on it. Many people do not realize that Five Guys is a great place to bring your vegetarian friends. I'm hungover right now, so I decided to try the new location for lunch today. It's just a few miles North of the airport on 436. I absolutely love the burger here. Juicy, crisp and full of flavor. They'll make it however you like, to order. No pre-made burgers sitting around. The fries, as I've stated before, are way out of control! Who's idea was it to make the order so damn big? It must be a marketing scheme to justify charging us over $2.50 for a regular size. No matter how much you love fries, you'll never eat them all! I'd much prefer shaving a buck off the cost and cutting the order size in half. We could send all the uneaten fries to developing nations or something. I hate to throw them out, but what I am gonna do? Feed them to ducks at the lake? Oh well. One thing that is over the top about Five Guys is the rampant self promoting as demonstrated by several large posters quoting food critics who've championed the food here. I say let the food speak for itself. You don't need to program the customers into believing that the food tastes good. I surmise that the repeat visitors don't need this kind of reinforcement, and after just a few visits I'm already over it myself. Sadly there's nothing else to look at in the dining room. Five Guy's has a minimal approach to signage and decor. Red and white tiles and that's it. Bring a newpaper or a crazy friend to give you something to look at, otherwise you'll be memorizing the sign on the wall telling you what the GQ Magazine or The Tampa Tribute had to say. I digress!
