Very nice place, clean and neat. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was so delicious. Compact, humble teamwork over there, preparing tasty food for hungry New Yorkers. Food is pretty great for fast food. I wouldn't compare it to a nice sit down place but for convenience it does the job. The food I got was a little cheeseburger with lettuce, mayo, bbq, grilled onion, and jalapeños. When you get quite a few condiments the burgers get a bit messy, but that's understandable with the amount of stuff I put in it. Along with the burger I got little Cajun fries and a milkshake to share. I prefer the Cajun the fries over the regular, however I do wish they were more crispy. The milkshake was vanilla and it tasted great. It wasn't too sweet and it was just the right consistency for a milkshake. The service was fast for the food, but the pickup ate gets quite crowded and you kind of have to push around to grab your food. They also forgot the shake at first so I had to go back through the crowd ask for it. I was there during dinner time so I'm pretty sure that's why it was quite busy. But other than crowding the people working we're nice and had no problem getting me the shake when I said it was missing. I would definitely go back again. read more

Yes, I'm 7 months late..April 2021. Parking is very limited, your best bet is to double park and have someone wait in the car. Outside is very sketchy. You have people hanging out in front of the restaurant which is next to a Chipotle. Food was great! Maybe because I was extra starving. Lol. It was pretty good all around. It didn't take long to order and the staff were nice. Once we ordered it did take a little bit to get all the food, but it was dinner time so it's understandable. It can be hard to grab your order when they call it because people tend to crowd the pick up counter. When we got our food it was warm and fresh. I ordered a little hamburger, plain and it was well-cooked. I also got a little fry Cajun style and it was pretty good. They included lots of seasoning, but it wasn't my favorite. I think I prefer the regular fries. The vanilla milkshake was great, but it came out about 7 minutes after the rest of the food. Would eat there again. read more

Disappointed! We order from them at least once a month. I hate that I have to go through a delivery service but it is what it is. I ordered a Little Bacon Burger and forgot to get the cheese. So once we got the order I went to add the cheese and the hamburger patty had a huge chunk out of it. and you can tell that it was cooked that way because the area was seared on the edges where the rest of the patty would have been so technically I got 3/4 of a patty. I usually take a delivery order with a pinch of salt, but five guys near Columbia always delivers. Granted, it's 2 blocks away so even delivery is pretty quick, but I digress. No frills, quality ingredients, and a friendly staff for the days you do stop into the brick and mortar. They also NEVER skimp on the fries. They always fill the bag regardless of location, but I always feel like I'm getting even a little more than the typical portion here. My wife and I can split a small and still feel like it was almost too much. Again, if you're ordering from 30 blocks away, sure. This might not travel well in the dead of winter. That said, it's a great fast food option in a neighborhood with only so many fast food burger options. read more

I literally have nothing negative to say about this place. The staff is always very friendly and efficient. The restaurant is always clean and even when it's packed, I've never had an unpleasant wait. Now for the food -- this is one of my favorites, second to Shake Shack. The burgers are perfectly cooked, not too raw, not too well done. I always load my burger with plenty of toppings and they always get it right. The fries are equally as perfect. Whether I get them regular or Cajun, they never let me down. Note: I always get the small fry because they dump an extra scoop in the bag which adds up to a medium. The prices are kind of steep, but the fry trick saves you a bit. If you love a great, juicy burger and a pleasant atmosphere, definitely stop by this Five Guys location. I've been coming to this Five Guys location for years. I loooove their burgers and the fact that you can customize them and add all kinds of toppings. They always give a ton of fries so I never get anything bigger than the small size. The location is pretty big with plenty of seating and its wheelchair accessible. It's always in order and very clean. I like that you can eat as many peanuts as you want while you're there, they're pretty good. There's also a little section where you can leave love notes/recommendations for the restaurant. Id say its a little on the pricey side but worth it. read more

Delivery guy ran away down my hall yelling back at meet that I'm wrong and everything is in the bag. Nope. When I called the restaurant, manager said the system shows everything was delivered. nope again. So essentially I was called a liar, twice. I have never had five guys so I wanted to try it out when it moved into my neighborhood. The difference between the "Little" and the regular burger is the patties. The "little" comes with one patty and the regular comes with two. I got the "little" as that is usually how many patties I eat. I also had the cajun fries which are the same price as the regular fries but come with seasoning. The price is comparable to Shake Shack so not the cheapest but moderately priced. The two patties is more expensive than one obviously and you will pay for it. Total price for two people was about $20 sharing the fries and the drink. I ordered the "little" hamburger and added mushrooms, lettuce, tomatoe and mustard, ketchup. I forgot the pickles! The burger tasted good but the bun wasnt as toasted as I would like and got soaggy quickly. I like that you can add the toppings you would like though. The fries were good with the seasoning but could use more crunch. Overall I enjoyed my burger but this is not my favorite burger place in New York. Will come back if I am around and in the mood though. Place is popular with all though and are usually busy but plenty of seating to be had. Was hesitant at first because the reviews are so poor, but yelp isn't always the most reliable thing. Had no clue what the difference was between a regular and a little, but we both went for the little cheeseburger with everything and shared a regular fries. The little was more than enough for me... I was expecting sliders, but it actually seemed like a regular sized burger. You get all the toppings for free, which is pretty cool. As reviews said, the portion of fries is huge, and you better believe it. We didn't even finish half of the fries because we were too full. Fries are okay, not crispy or crunchy...more on the thick side. Our total was a little over $15, which is hella expensive for 2 burgers and fries. I had such a good experience her today for lunch. Maybe it's because all the students are gone and the staff are just that much happier - but I was greeted with a warm smile and my colleague and I's food was ready in no time flat. I had a double cheese burger and I couldn't have been happier. Top that off with a peanut butter shake - I was basically eating my feelings and my feeling was joy my friends ... Feeling. Joy. First time in this joint but having lived in DC for 5 years this franchise has lived up to 5 guys reputation. Definitely worth returning again to dive deep into grease and deliciousness. This is one of those places I complain about yet go to over and over. Their damn too-convenient location to my apartment gets me every time. Plus, they are open later than chiplote and subway. Oh my freaking gosh, this place is so delicious. I felt like a super hero fat kid. This place reminds me of In-N-Out Burger, but possibly better. Only thing that needs improvement are the shakes.
