They are located in the 9/27 Shopping Center, a portion facing Route 27. The dinner line was out the door when we got there at 7pm on a rainy Friday night. Fortunately they had boxfuls of peanuts for us to shell and munch on while we waited for the rest of our party to join us at our table. The menu is quite short, with their regular burger served two meat patties at a time with options of plain, with cheese, with bacon, with bacon & cheese. Then there are the 15 item toppings menu - any or all of which are FREE! For those of smaller appetite there is the Little Burger option with a single patty, and the same 4 options. Same with hot dogs. Then there's the veggie sandwich (with and without cheese), grilled cheese, soda (2 sizes, FREE REFILLS), bottled water, and of course, the fries. I got the $4.09 little cheeseburger (I was forewarned by a friend about the number of meat patties) and we shared some fries. Orders are called out as they are prepared, so listen for your number and you'll be awarded with a freshly prepared hot product. I enjoyed my burger and fries, while my friend preferred this burger over In-And-Out's with the exception of the bun. What lifts this place into 4 star land, however, is that when one friend realized her bacon burger was missing its bacon after having consumed half her dinner, the staff here quickly gave her a whole new (and complete) burger in its place. I was surprised at how good these burgers are. The first time I ate a burger at Five Guys, I spent the entire burger trying to explain to myself that, since I was full, I didn't technically need a subsequent, ancillary burger. I prevailed over my baser instincts, but it was really close. This is not something that comes up very often, so it's a big deal. Simple ordering system, lots of toppings but very few frills. The buns are boring (plain old sesame-seeded, white bread, cold, untoasted, out-of-the-bag buns) but the complete package is awesome. The meat is flavorful and juicy. The fries are excellent. My favorite thing is a bacon cheeseburger: the American cheese is wobbly and melty and yellow, and the experience of sitting in a bright, white and red room eating complimentary peanuts and cheeseburgers and sipping fountain soda is very pleasant, indeed. Unsurprisingly, it can get crowded, but if you order online (even from your smart phone in the car!) and take your food to-go, it can bring the sting out of it. When compared to any other chain burger I've ever eaten, ever, they get five stars. When I think about the overall experience of this no-frills restaurant as it stacks up to other kinds and categories of establishments, it gets a very respectable four stars. I enjoy the food, the price is right, and a Five Guys burger makes for a nice reward for doing all the errands that usually bring me to that shopping center (grocery shopping, office supply run, UPS drop-offs, etc). read more

Came here with my kid and ordered a hamburger, fries, shake and hot dog. Everything came out looking great and tasting delicious and the manager was on site. A few days later we ordered take out in the evening. While my husband has partaken several times, I have never been with him on these adventures (even my daughter went before I did). My yelp friend Frannie was shocked and told me she wanted to be with me when I "popped" my ... wait a minute, this probably has to be G-rated. I had the small Bacon Cheeseburger and a small order of fries. Note to other virgins: the small is still ample (see my picture) and we took the extras home. It washow I remember burgers tasting like when I was a kid. It was cooked to order - no frills - and it was yummy. I also have to say the price is right. It will not break the bank if you go as a family. If you have kids and go here, they have a soda machine (I am told not all Five Guys has this so be forewarned) that you can choose a standard soda from and then customize it with other flavors. Ok. Everyone was telling me about how great Five Guys burgers are, so I had to try them. I just had lunch and now I am stuffed. I had one (yes that is one) normal burger with bacon, mushrooms and mayonnaise, one serving of fries to share and a bottle of water. Well at least that is what I ordered and confirmed to have ordered on the receipt. From there I got a double cheese burger with bacon. Well at least I knew their normal burgers were double so that is what I expected. I just get tired of ordering a HAMBURGER, confirming it is a burger and getting a CHEESEBURGER. I'm sad today, friends. I had high hopes for this Five Guys - as I have enjoyed the "original" Five Guys in Washington, DC. Hell, I've even eaten at this very location before, and convinced myself that I was in love. Today, was the day the music died for me. Let's start out with what I ordered: A hot dog with grilled onions, pickles, ketchup and mustard. Pretty standard issue if you ask me. I got the food 5 minutes later (seems to me like it should take a bit longer to grill a hot dog, no?) and after unwrapping the tinfoil, the bun literally disintegrated in my hand. GROSS. I had onion juice all over me, and the hot dog (split into halves - weird) was pretty chilly. The flavor wasn't terrible, but I've had WAAAY better. Suffice it to say, I looked around the room and realized... "wow, most of the people in here are scarfing down HUGE burgers, making bloody messes, and most are also obese.." Maybe this should have been my tip-off in the beginning. I'll give Five Guys props for their clean kitchen, bathrooms and seating areas. However bland and cold their dining area feels, at least it's clean. They're definitely a no-muss, no-fuss type of place. I've never been to a different location than my most local Five Guys, but happened to be in Natick. My friend had never had Five Guys and since all the hot dog places we stopped at weren't open and since we were at Building 19 right next door, I decided it was time for her to lose her Five Guys virginity. I told her about their custom of yelling out to the kitchen staff when new customers enter. Then he didn't yell out but just watched us walk up to the counter. The cook had been in back & when she came out, she called him on it. I told her about mentioning it to my friend so she had him do it for her. I got my standard little bacon cheeseburger & so did my friend. We split a regular fries (and had plenty to take home). The fries were nice and crispy dark, just like I love them. I'm glad to see that this store was just as clean and friendly as my local Five Guys. I am a little jealous because they have the special Coke machine and we still have the older one at a time dispenser. But I won't be hating on them for that. I was over at Building 19 when the power went out in the store. I waited about 8 minutes for it to return and it was still dark inside the store so I decided to eat and come back. A quick scan of my surroundings revealed this place... Five Guys Burgers and Fries. Interesting, I thought... I like burgers, yet I've never heard of this place. I decided to give it a whirl. Walked into a busy hustle and bustle counter-service burger joint with a WIDE OPEN and CLEAN kitchen/grill area. At first glance, the prices seemed a bit high (not too bad though) so I ordered up and enjoyed some of the FREE peanuts in shells while I waited. The counter help and grill guys call out to each other "HOT PATTIES!!" and to the customers "Number TWENTY!" at a break-neck pace... yet the service is fast and friendly. There is a small assortment of menu items.. LITERALLLY Burgers, Fries, Hot Dogs... but there are plenty of options for NO CHARGE toppings. The big surprise was when i sat down to try my food. HOT and Fresh HAND CUT fries, which they pile into the serving cup and add an additional scoop of "bag fries" to each order. They gave me SO many fries it was a shock! They also have bottles of Malt Vinegar (which I love on fries) along with ketchup, which was nice. The burger is actually TWO patties which are cooked "juicy and well done" which sounds like an Oxymoron, but somehow they managed to do it! The meat was high quality and flavorful. All the toppings were fresh and delicious. All in all an A+ burger experience. Added Bonus: They have the Coca-Cola "Freestyle" soda stations there so your soda/drink options are too numerous for indecisive people like me! I stared at the dozens of selections for about 4 minutes before making my selection. :) I have to say, I wish they'd open a Five Guys Burger and Fries in Boston (closer to my area). That being said, I keep my Five Guys excursions down to about one a year. The burgers are delicious but my favorite is the fries, and herein lies the problem. You order a small and you literally get a sack of fries. A SACK. Add the malt vinegar which is always on offer and I can't resist. No fry left behind, or under the car seat. Toppings are free. Burgers, fries & sodas are purchased separately, but are very well priced. There was a recent pickle deficit emergency, but they seem to have taken care of it. You'll wait about 10 minutes for your food, since everything is made to order, but there are peanuts available to munch on while you wait. People with peanut allergies or who will later be around people with peanut allergies, heed the posted warnings and do not enter. read more

Ok, hands down the BEST burger I have ever had. It was amazing and delicious and you can get whatever you want on it so for that I give 5 stars. The fries are delightful, they are bigger than McDonald's but I love them, especially with mayo!!!! The only reason why I gave 4 stars is that you sometimes have to clean your own table. Pure greasy deliciousness. Five Guys satisfies even the toughest pregnancy cravings. The fries here are hot and fresh. I love the way the restaurant tells you where that days potatoes come from. A gimmick, sure. But a gimmick that I love. If you're sharing and one of you doesn't like the seasoned fries, they'll gladly give you seasoning on the side so everyone is happy. It's a french fry miracle. The burgers are melt in your mouth good. The default is 2 patties, which is a bit much. I prefer the smaller one patty burger, better for avoiding the dreaded greasy food stomach ache. Toppings here are free and plentiful. My favorites are sauteed mushrooms, onions, and peppers, with a few pickles thrown on top for good measure. To add to the deliciousness, Five Guys has all you can eat peanuts. My father raves about 5 guys, so I took a little detour to grab some lunch there. Very simple setup. You walk up, select the burger and toppings you want, and sit back and wait for them to call your number. I got a bacon cheeseburger with grilled onions and bbq sauce. I got a side of cajan fries. The burger was cooked perfect and the fries were spicy and hot. It was worth the money to avoid a normal fast food joint. It's definitely a spot I'll hit more often. I don't understand why people like this chain. What is the point of the double patties if they taste terrible? The french fries are big and soft. The focus on fat and carbs put this place in the "not worth it" category for me. It's the kind of place you might go if it was late at night and you were drunk and hungry but in this location that is unlikely--it's not near a bar and you need to drive to get here, which you shouldn't do if you're drunk. Food is fried in peanut oil, watch out allergy-sufferers. If you sit outside you can look at the huge parking lot in front of Staples. That seems to be a big draw! So if that is something you and your family enjoy, you will enjoy it. If you're with older carnivore-type teens or adults with a big appetite who can handle the size and the tippy cups of fries, this place might work. You can always drop them off here and get something healthy and delicious for yourself next door. I'm a pretty big fan of this chain, as I've eaten at multiple locations around the country. I don't eat a lot of burgers, but when I do, I like to go for places that use good quality meat and offer some options for toppings. Everything at Five Guys just tastes fresher than at any other chain: you can taste the difference in quality in the beef, and the fries are noticeably fresher as well. I also love the fact that they have spicy topping options. I usually go for the spicy fries, which are great, though they sometimes have a little too much salt and seasoning. A couple of notes: the burgers are huge: every burger is a double, so one is plenty for me. Same with the fries: one order is enough for two people, so I was glad on a recent trip that I didn't go for two orders for two people. What you don't want to know is that these burgers have about a million calories in them, so trust me, you don't want to be stuffing your face with potatoes for a whole afternoon just because your eyes were bigger than your belly. That said, who eats a burger when they're going for health food? So if you're going to have one, make it a good one like this, because life is too short anyway. read more

Burgers range from $3.59 for a single patty hamburger to $6.39 for a double patty cheeseburger with bacon. Add any and EVERY topping you like for absolutely FREE (jalapenos, onions, mushrooms, green peppers, mustard/mayo/ketchup etc). Fries are $2.99 for a small (but the small is ENORMOUS!) and $4.69 for a large. Not too much a fan of the cajun topping for the fries (just too much of it). They fry the fries in peanut oil, which is uber tasty. Huge bags of potatoes just hang out in the restaurant to remind you- yep, these are fresh taters. They even post on a wall where the potatoes are from! I loved seeing everyone working and cooking in the open kitchen. It was clean, too! I don't think I've seen employees ever so jovial in a fast food place. Other perks include free peanuts and lots red and white decor. read more

The natick five guys is next to the Panera in the Stop and Shop center on rt 27. Went on Friday, several days after the grand opening. At 6 pm, The place was packed with families with a small line to the door. Ordered quickly and watched the staff cooking and packing burgers and fries with incredible speed and accuracy. I waited about 10 min, not bad given the size of the crowd. As usual, the burger was perfectly cooked and tasty. The regular fries were super hot, salty and yummy . Could barely eat a third of the order. While not recommended by the American Heart Assoc, I am certain , This is a definite GO TO burger place in metro west . read more

This was disappointing. Place was filthy. The only 2 trash receptacles were at capacity (and then some), the tables not cleaned (of course people being the slobs they are, assume someone else will clean up for them), and floor needed some attention. Also, the one! napkin dispenser was empty and both gallon dispensers of ketchup were empty. What was more annoying was the good times the employees seemed to be having behind the counter yuking it up while ignoring the basics of operating a restaurant. So, that's what you get for $20: 2 hamburgers and 1 med. fries. Really much more than it should be and much less than I would expect. This place needs better management. read more
