The shakes are great, the people are ok, the food is greasy but its the only one in the area so it's like a love hate relationship.

I eat here often, but I am not here to write about the food. Even though it is great and I never regret it when I order five guys. I wanted to write this review to comment on the customer service. I 99% of the time never have issues with this establishment, the food is always correct and warm. Last time I went, I had a slight issue with the food, basically just forgotten items on the burgers. I filed a complaint detailing what happened and got a response quickly from Mr. Gellert, one of the owners. He responded with such grace and kindness, it was amazing. It was clear he has read my complaint because he acknowledged each one and pointed out what was wrong. He validated what I said and it meant a lot to receive correspondence with him. Not only will I continue to happily eat here, they now have my respect due to their amazing customer service. read more

Let's get straight to the point, The service is always great remains that way every time. The cleanliness is on point, they are accurate with special requests. But honestly I feel there's nothing really big on the taste quality of the meat. It's nothing you can't imitate at home. The shakes are well made by can sometimes be a bit too thick. The fries are great as well and you'll get plenty for your buck. In some cases they can be a bit too seasoned but that's all places. Overall five guys burgers and fries is a good place for a good burger. But that's all..It's nothing more than the average quality meat in a nicer setting. Especially for the prices they charge. I've had better burgers and some just as good as little ma and pop shops. So if you're Expecting a superb burger like how many other reviews said ummm don't...It's Bullshit. :) They have a solid good rating nothing to brag about. read more

I travel around with my son who is around 8 months old so I am kind of limited as to the places I can go if I am in need of some chow. I have been meaning to check out this place for a while and am glad I finally did. The "little" burger was plenty big enough for me (regular ones have 2 patties) and the toppings are totally free. The fries are delicious. You will be paying maybe 1 dollar more than a fast food place and have your burger cooked fresh and with exactly what you want on it. Delicious. read more

First time writing a review for anything EVER....went today with 15 kids ranging in age from 3-9 years old.....the manager and staff could not have been any nicer...most would freak out when they saw our group....the food was delicious, the restaurant was extremely clean and the entire staff was extremely helpful....we all left saying we would come back again and would consider having a birthday party there....loved everything about it.....HIGHLY recommend! read more

How can you go wrong? Fast service. Fresh burger with any amount and bunch of different types of toppings.. for no extra cost. Awesome peanuts. Awesome potatoes from Idaho for the fries. They tell you where specifically the potatoes are from, what farm and city on the chalkboard. Most locations have the new soda fountains that are just awesome. Fries are top notch and always come out piping hot and cut perfectly.. not tooo thick.. not tooo thin. Consistency is what keeps me coming back. You always know what to expect and taste here. The jalapenos are actually hot! Can't go wrong with a 5 Guys burger. Who cares if its the most unhealthy rated burger. I mean..if you're eating a cheeseburger and counting calories??? U must be a very cool person. I've loved 5 Guys since i first ever tried it! Big fan! Is it the best ? Very basic place and its expensive after you get done ordering you will be shocked but its worth the visit as their burgers are tasty and you will get quality burgers and fries as opposed to fast food places-this place is semi fast with quality. You will get full on one large burger(that is actually 2 patties) and a large fries and soda. You would think you could do 2 but they are very filling. Its all fresh and place is pretty clean and service prompt. The set up is very basic -old school and find that its better to sit at the high chairs at front window facing out for more room. They are doing a great business so not alone in my thoughts. read more

Love this place! We get food from here almost every week. One time I wasn't happy with my order. The manager called me the next day. He was so nice and eager to rectify my issue. He appreciated the feedback. I saw someone said they all got sick in there review. I have never gotten sick after eating here. They must have all had a virus since they did go together. This is a haven for those who like greasy food - I don't. Tried it when it first opened but was so disappointed. Great burgers! Generous portions. Cajun fries are amazing. This is my franchise burger place where I know that they have consistency of quality and ingredients among their locations. The only downside is wasted food. Many people cannot finish the larger burgers and overly-large portions are a pet-peeve of mine. I find that we have been going to Five Guys about once every two weeks or so when we are too tired to prep for a more formal ding experience. Free peanuts; no tipping; fresh food-how can you go wrong! I am a child of the '60's, and love the perpetual classic rock that is always on here. The burgers are fresh and made while you watch with all the free toppings you could want. People are constantly cleaning the restaurant, and as a result, it is always clean. If they could turn up the heat a little, and turn down the fluorescent lighting, that would be a plus. read more

Best burgers in Nanuet!! I've had better but these are pretty damn good and keep you wanting to come back. The fries are excellent and the burgers, enormous. Other reviewer had cheese, jalapenos, bbq sauce and onions on it and wondered why it was soggy. They're not if you don't get soggy ingredients!
