The location for this establishment is a little unobtrusive but easy enough to find with GPS. It is in the back building of a strip plaza on Secor in an area that is settling into a rather nice commercial district. The facility is rather small but is clean and comfortable with larger tables. It works well if you choose to eat in. We visited on a Tuesday evening and it was not too busy. The menu was consistent with what most restaurant experts recommend. It was focused. They do burgers and that's effectively all they do from what we could see. Coupled with big baskets of fries or onion rings, you have a good ole' American meal the way it was meant to be (artery clogs be damned). My wife and I both got a 567 Burger without cheese. Their burgers are smashburger style and they do them very well. The burger is bigger in circumference than the bun and the toppings are classically good. We had an order of Onion Rings to accompany our burgers and the proprietor told me when he called my name for pickup that he was going to drop a few more rings for us. The basket did not look like it was that much short of a full order and, at some places, it indeed would have been a full order. But about 3 or 4 minutes later, he came by and left us a full order of Onion Rings in addition to the 3/4 or so order he gave us already. Little things like that build loyalty. Our meals were great. My wife had half her burger and we had about half our onion rings to take home for the air fryer. With food, drinks, tax and tip, our final bill was $34. I won't complain about $17 person for food that good. We'll definitely be back.

The new laminate floor looked great, as did the brand new -and spotlessly clean- tables, chairs, and booths. The decorations and wall hangings were tasteful and un-cluttered, and I especially liked how the blue light horse silhouette (visible on far-right side of my dining room photo) conveyed a sense of good-Amish-food-meets-21st-century. After a pleasantly short wait, my order was delivered to my booth. The all-beef dogs were garnished with crispy-cooked bacon, red pepper relish, and shredded cheddar cheese. As you can see in my food photo, they looked great, and tasted even better! The side of coleslaw was also very good, which kind of surprised me, as I expected it to be overpowered by the clearly visible chunks of red onion, but the flavours melded together perfectly. It is primarily a sports bar with lots of screens to view any conceivable sporting event. My party of twelve (12) was there for our monthly book club discussion. Generally, we have a reservation but I learned that this establishment doesn't take reservations. There were people in our group who arrived 45 minutes before our scheduled 1pm meeting time. We were told that the only way to accommodate us was an upstairs area- although we were initially promised the first floor seating area. Unfortunately, one in our party couldn't do stairs and offered to leave. There was no elevator. We all agreed to wait on a first floor option. The manager was nice enough but also very matter of fact - as if this was a problem we brought on ourselves, as she explained that sports bar clientele could choose to stay for four hours. We all understood the quandary and opted to wait. Once seated and waited on, the process went rather smoothly. Our server was apparently used to large parties and did a really great job of accommodating us. Most of us ordered main entrees with some sides. I opted for the Swiss Mushroom chicken sandwich with lettuce and tomato. Also had them hold mayo and substituted a side of ranch without a problem. The person seated next to me had grilled chicken fingers with a sauce, which looked rather good but she described as typical bar food. The person across from me opted for a burger which she said wasn't anything special. Basically, nothing horrible and nothing amazing- just typical bar food. My entree was the chicken sandwich with Swiss cheese and mushrooms. I ordered it without mayo and requested a side of ranch. No problem. When my sandwich arrived, the tomatoes were very sub-par... like the very end of tomatoes that weren't even ripe in the first place. (I put them to the side, as well as the shredded lettuce that didn't look super fresh). Aside from that, my sandwich was fine, only ate the bottom bun. It was basically typical bar food so my expectations weren't super high. I mentioned to our server re the unripe tomato ends when she picked up our plates and she apologized. I will say that the lunch bill for this restaurant was on the reasonable side, considering prices these days. Even though we had a "large" party, we weren't charged an automatic gratuity and that actually made me want to tip our server more - recognizing that she inherited a difficult table of single checks but still did a pretty good job of staying on top of our orders. Overall, it's a great sports bar with lots of screens. If you'd like to have any meaningful conversations, the atmosphere was on the loud side. Food is overall fine for bar food but nothing amazing- though reasonably priced. Definitely feel free to check it out! It is in the building across from St. John's High School that used to be a Mexican restaurant and then a fire engine restaurant (if you're local, you know). Manage your expectations to decent bar food and nothing more or less - but with lots of screens to cheer on your favorite teams!
