Disclaimer: I'm not a huge burger kind of gal. I'll eat a cheeseburger maybe 4 or 5 times a year. And maybe that's because there are a lot of bad or mediocre cheeseburgers out there. To compare this place to McDonalds or Burger King is crazy. Totally different league. You arrive and can help yourself to perfectly salted peanuts in the shell whilst you peruse the simple but comprehensive menu. I had my family with me so we went for a selection of Cheeseburgers, Bacon Cheeseburgers and Little Cheeseburgers. I like how you can add grilled mushrooms, onions etc for no additional charge. We added jalepenos on two of the burgers and they asked if we'd like them as is or grilled. I like that kind of attention to detail. Fries - we did one regular and two Cajun. The Cajun is pretty spicy!!! I like it hot but beware...the sizes are HUGE. Unless you're super crazy hungry I would recommend 1 regular size fries for 2/3 people. I have been eating at Five Guys for a number of years now...first in Charlotte, NC and now in Nashua and Manchester, NH. You can count on Five Guys to deliver two things: (1) A really good burger. Their burgers are of the thin variety...and are very tasty (whether you get the small or large, which is two patties). Always smashed down and grilled with a nice crust! I love this place One thing is i dont eat burgers .. i only eat chicken that is it but everytime i pass five guys which is not ofter i need to have a burger from them. I love the way they squishh their patties so it get cooked nicely and get crispy on the edges and stuff. I also love the way everything is put in the buns. Not like the Mickey'D and throw everything in there. I love the way they actually spread the ketchup , mustard and mayo on the buns and properly place all the veggies and stuff . It is not at messy to eat unlike other burger places that i have been too. What can i say about frying their french fries in peanut oil. i mean being an indian we cook all our food in peanut oil and nothing is more tastier than cooking stuff in peanut oil Def will go there again and hopefully more opens up in the area so everyone can get access to nice food. read more

After eating at the Pattie Shack the night before, I'll admit that might have skewed my opinion. After much anticipation, Manchester finally has their own 5 Guys! People were excited. I had no clue what it was all about. I just knew it was about burgers. The moment we walked in, there was a HUGE line. It just looked like an In-N-Out. Everyone there had a big smile and was very friendly. There were a million workers in the kitchen. The ordering part is pretty quick. There's only a few burgers or hotdogs or sandwiches you can choose from. The tough part is trying to figure out what to put on your burger or dog or sandwich. After yesterday's big burger meal, I couldn't bring myself to get another burger. So I got the bacon hotdog. With relish. And jalapenos. Fresh. Jalapenos. Next task, waiting for food and finding a place to sit. Nearly impossible. Every table is taken and there is a ridiculous amount of people waiting for their food. It took a long time to get the food. But the hotdog was good. Cut in half. Crispy bacon. Tangy relish. Hot, hot, jalapeno. Fries, average. There just wasn't anything really special about this place for me. I bet after the hype of this place wears off, it will be less busy. It's one of the reasons why I gave it 3 stars. The fries alone are a reason to stop by- fresh made, hot and the perfect balance of soft and crispy. I also appreciate the fact that I can order a "burger" without the patty. I love the toppings more than the burger itself sometimes that's all I want. Not fine dining but no ones expecting that. It's 5 guys - obviously it's good! I hate the comparison to In N Out - I've heard it many times and I really think it doesn't give 5 Guys due credit. The burgers at In N Out aren't nearly as good, and additionally they're completely plain. 5 Guys has tons of topping choices and they're all free! Make sure to take time to pick all your toppings before placing your order. Plus the value of In N Out just isn't as high. It's impossible for me to eat even a small burger (1 patty instead of 2 - highly recommended!!) with a small fry. I always have leftovers. If I could have a half order of fries, it would be the perfect burger joint. Speaking of fries, that's the one thing 5 Guys really does have in common with In N Out. Both places have POTATOES delivered to the store - not fries. Very few places can beat Five Guys for burgers and this place supports this conclusion. Fresh made to order burgers with fresh cut fries that are fantastic. Ordered my usual mushroom and grilled cheeseburger with fries and a drink. Hot and tasty as always. I personally haven't tried their shakes but my family recommends them. It's a reliable place to go. You get a hamburger and fries. You can see things being cooked. You can eat free peanuts while you wait. Prices aren't unreasonable. However, be warned. You get a HUGE bag of fries with your order. One is more than enough for two people. read more

We had been wanting to try 5 guys since it opened right down the street from us... and unfortunately it was a let down! For fast food I would say decent, but the burger was greasy and a complete mess to eat. The fries were fresh and delicious I will say. All we got was 2 burgers and regular fries and it cost us over $20!! Personally if I am going to spend that much on a burger, I would rather be at a sports bar or something other than "fast food". I like this place. Free peanuts which I LOVE! The burgers are filling and a good value for their price. I don't expect a lot when I come here. We went here on our way to Nightmare New England...Being that Five Guys is definitely My favorite Burger, I was a little disappointed with this Five Guys. My Burger was undercooked and I asked for pickles and there were no pickles on my burger either. In their defense the place was packed. BUT, still no excuse for a place that makes 100's of hamburgers a day. I did go up and say I didn't get the pickles and they gave them to me in a little cup. Other than that..it's your usual Five Guys Burger dining experience! The burgers here are terrific! My family loves their fries (I don't but that's ok). You can order burgers via internet. The only reason it's not a five star review is this location has bad seating and no ventilation. You leave with your clothes soaked in fry grease smell. I love these burgers, and service is quick and the vibe is fun and casual. But, when you stop to think about the price, its just a few more dollars than what it feels worth. For a burger joint, I also feel that bread is such a critical ingredient (there aren't that many, after all) and this bread is so-so. Fries are super, though -- order the smaller size for sure. I waver because I like the plae, but find that it doesn't adequately carve out enough of a niche -- if I want a cheap burger I'll go to Wendy's; if I want a delicious-but-more-expensive burger I'll go to CJ's just up the street. read more
