It was my first visit tonight and I am very pleased with the food. Everything seemed very fresh, from hand-cut fries (with a very yummy seasoning - slightly sweet) to the burgers and the chicken breast sandwich. My daughter's chicken breast sandwich was very juicy and flavorful. The only thing someone might want to be aware of is that the pickles are slightly spicy, so if that's not your thing, ask to leave them off the sandwich. You order in line at the counter and take a number to your table. The food is brought out when it's ready. The restaurant staff were pleasant. The booth seating was cozy. From burgers to salads to poke nachos to beet salad, every single dish was exceptionally plated and prepared. The diner itself was spacious and well accommodated. Very pretty design with a modern touch. It was nice to couples on dates, families enjoying a nice meal, and then a large birthday group next to us. The weather was great for those seated outside. I can't remember what each of the other girls had, but I ordered the Grown-up Grilled Cheese with a side wedge salad. I wouldn't think of a grown up grilled cheese as having short rib in it. I would have figured it would be elevated cheeses, but who am I to say? I sounded good regardless, and it was tasty as well. I don't have any negative comments about the food, however, it didn't blow my socks off. I'd come back, but wouldn't go out of my way to drive just for this restaurant.

I did order a plethora of sauces since I'm a sauce girly. My favorite sauce had to be the dark beer mustard and the BBQ Ranch (this was really surprising for me but the dill in the ranch took the cake for me)... but honorable mentions go out to the garlic aioli, smoked paprika aioli. Fries were cooked perfectly. Beer was delicious and local! THE PICKLES HERE ARE AMAZING AND MADE IN HOUSE. It's located in a shopping center (there's a racetrac sharing the area as well) but it's easy to find with the standout signage. We could tell from the parking lot that it wasn't super busy and once we walked in, we were greeted and taken to our table. The waiting area has all sorts of license plates, merch, an area for local businesses to leave cards and kinda gives you a colorful glimpse into the restaurant itself. We were seated in the Front Yard and my kiddos immediately fell in love with the vibrant colors of the decor, the bus that they could see which is located behind the bar area, and they each got a pack of wikki stixs that kept them occupied throughout our time at the table. The decor makes the space super fun, there are plenty do tvs around, and this was just a really family friendly place. Our waiter was attentive and took great care of us. While I was stuck between getting the MMY Patty Melt, I decided to go with the Totally Tubular Turkey Club. My husband got the Buckin' Buffalo, one kiddo opted for a cheeseburger and the other kiddo wanted chicken tenders. It took about 15 mins for the food to come and when it did it looked sooooo delicious. My club was fresh and tasted really good. Bacon, turkey, white American cheese, lettuce, tomato and I guess their house sauce all on sourdough. I loved it and I opted for onion rings instead of tots or fries because I really wanted some and really enjoyed them. The onion rings were not greasy and tasty so good. Everyone enjoyed their food (the kiddos mentioned their fries being a bit salty and after I tried one I agreed) but we were near the pinball room soooo after they finished they were asking if they could go okay games. Before we left the table, I got a cookies n cream milkshake which was sooooo good and came with whipped cream, Oreo crumbles on top and gummy worms. We did visit the pinball room and the kids had a blast. Bring cash to play most of the games but it was fun to see everyone having fun playing games and enjoying their Friday night. Really enjoyed this place and want to come back to try some other items on the menu. Such a cute place!

Unfortunately, as someone who has eaten burgers all over the world the Trucker Burger was disappointing on many levels. First of all, it felt like a misleading description to describe the burger as having two "smash patties". These were definitely not smash patties under the traditional definition in my opinion. The bun was good, but the burger patties themselves were far too plump, lacked bounce, had no caramelization in the edges and were not juicy on the inside. It tasted like a burger you'd find at your neighbor's backyard BBQ with a general lack of flavor and course texture like the lean to fat ratio was off and the burger was cooked on too low a temperature. The staff was very friendly and the food came out quickly. Unfortunately, the burger was a let down and extremely overpriced. You're better off going to a fast casual spot like Freddy's where you can get a great smash burger for much less.
