Taste Budz is located in a small parking lot off of the main road. While there is signage outfront, if you aren't paying attention, you may miss the entrance. The parking lot is on the smaller side but thankfully, we were still able to find parking. I love that this location is a small family owned business. The employees were all incredibly kind and patient as we took forever trying to decide what we wanted. They have a rather large menu of snowballs, ice cream, and food items to choose from. I decided on a passion fruit snowball with gummy skittles and cream. Let me just say, the sizes are huge! Also, they don't skimp out on the flavoring as we have found at other places. How do I know? Ordered food, selected pay with cash. Normally, car hop comes out with the order on a tray with condiments and the car hop has change. My car hop came out with my order, and the angriest scowl on her face. I don't care if you smile, but don't approach customers with a funky attitude. I greeted, she scowled. What manager makes an angry employee the representative face of the business but a crappy one? Newsflash, she didn't have my money yet, I started to back out and leave her holding the order. I don't need to pay for a burger with a side of anger. I handed her a $20, the order was $12, was giving $5 tip, but she didn't come prepared with change. After about 6 minutes, no return the 30 steps with my change. I really think she decided my tip amount was all of my change. No tf no. I have decided to leave it like that, but I get to decide, not them. I buzzed, um, change? Out she comes with an even meaner look. Still, I gave her $5. I worked for my coins and had an awesome appreciation for my opportunities to earn my living. I never brought dramaface to my place of employment. This manager is why this interaction went this poorly. The manager is why this employee was allowed to deal with customers at all. Yes, we're all human. Yes, we all have bad days.
