The food was delicious and the workers were kind and speedy. The jalapeno Whopper was also very good, I would come back just for that.

The service was really friendly and my food came out very quickly. Prices were reasonable and I didn't see a hugely extensive menu tho several of the burgers were unique without being outstandingly weird or out in left field. One thing I am DEFINITELY taking off a star for is charging a 3% surcharge to the customer to offset using a debit or credit card. I own a small business and I 100% feel like this is a cost of doing business and not something to pass on to the consumer. Or, if you're going to charge that kind of surcharge, let there be a purchase minimum, say 5 to $10. It annoys me when businesses do this. It seems needlessly "penny-pinchy" and if you're going to accept credit cards and debit cards for the convenience of the customer, that is what you accept as a business owner. My business accepts this as it cost to doing business, I absolutely feel like this is the cost of doing business by the owner, and I will die on this hill. That aside, the food was really good. Fries were hot and crispy and the burger fresh and juicy. Highly recommend and I'd pay with cash, like I did to avoid the "customer convenience fee" which is anything but convenient!

I passed by this place twice this week while doing Cruising The Coast: I thought to myself, look that up on Yelp and see what's up. So I did just that and found 5 star reviews. That was enough to have me sold but when I read it was locally owned by a US Military Veteran, well that was enough for me. We came in and were greeted by the friendly owner. We had a seat and you have to go to the bar to look at a menu. I perused the pizzas since that is what was highly recommended on Yelp. Went with the Supreme and a couple Cokes for my dad and me. The pizza arrived as ordered, half without peppers and onions and we dug in. What a delicious pie. Crispy crust, gooey cheese and flavorful toppings and a crunchy crust: it checks all the boxes for a great pizza. My nephew had the alligator sausage pizza and that too was delicious. While the place doesn't look like much from the road, that's just how I like it. Unassuming with delicious food. The place was clean, the music was great, the television history shows were great (Body by Fisher video was outstanding). The bathrooms were clean and well lit and overall the place was great. We will definitely hit this place again when we are back for CTC. It's on the must dine list for sure.

It is so well done for a smaller dining room, from the tiling on the bar, the beautiful collection of cutting boards on the wall, the lovely artsy painted radish & the jars of house made pickled vegetables lining the front windows. Our server, Lisa was extremely welcoming, as she was quite joyously making table arrangements of lovely flowers when we arrived. We perused the menu & I chose the lavender haze mocktail for a drink & the crab beignets for an appetizer. Both were equally beautiful and delicious. My mocktail was well balanced and would have made a delicious cocktail had I been in the mood. For lunch I decided on the beet and burrata salad and my sweetie had the catfish sandwich. My beet & burrata salad really hit the spot after the rich yet delicate crab beignets. The catfish sandwich was extremely tasty with the perfectly balanced house made pickles and "Caesar" dressing as the sauce. Their fries were perfectly fried as well. I made a stop in the restroom and adored the radish wallpaper & pictures, and I commented that the bathroom smelled like fresh baked brioche -- which Lisa said it was the bakery next door, Dolce' (which is owned by the chef's wife). She talked up the king cakes so much I had to go get one before our lunch even arrived (since there were very few "extra" king cakes left I am so glad I did!) All in all it was everything I hoped for and I wanted to try SO many things on the menu. I can't wait to go back. A new Mississippi favorite for sure.

Lisa suggested we go next door to the owner's wife's bakery. Which we did. YUM!

She was attentive to what we needed but not hovering at all. I'd ask for her if we came back but all of the staff seemed really on top of their game! The food: I cannot say ENOUGH about the food. I'm a picky eater and my friends are as well. They had tons of stuff on the menu at GREAT prices! $6.50 for mozzarella sticks? You can't beat it! We paid about $40 for 3 of us including drink and appetizer. I enjoyed the chicken strips a lot and was very impressed with the portion sizes as well! We'll definitely be back next time we're in town!

We walked in and found our own seats then were swiftly attended to. Then we immediately got started with our appetizer which was chips and queso. I ordered the pizza which was good however, the only complaint I have is that the crust and dough tasted odd and got chewy, otherwise the food was delicious. They had a good amount of vegetarian options as well. | Peer Two | I ordered the BLT with fries and shared the chips and queso, and I think the food was very good. The service was good and the restaurant was a nice environment. I also ordered the non-alcoholic strawberry daiquiri and it tasted great as well. I tried some of peer one's pizza and agree that after a few minutes the dough did become chewy but it was good nonetheless.

The onion rings are hand battered and only complain it wish it came with more. We came right before a rush and it seemed like only on person was running the front (cashier and waiting). It was fine until it got busy but nothing horrible. Give it a visit! I'll be back in the future.
