This was the first I think to come to the Albany region, yet I have never been here before. But, they have special Family night activities on Tuesday nights so I stopped by recently with my 4-year old son. We managed to hit the line at just the right time and didn't have to wait. Our order took about 10 minutes to be brought to our table, but it was rush hour. In the meantime, we looked around and the cars and waved to other people. He enjoyed his meal and actually picked applesauce over fries (!). I had a spicy chicken sandwich which wasn't actually spicy, but it was very good. The fries, per usual, were just okay. Their BBQ sauce is a bit unusual tasting to me, but workable. The kid's event for the night was bead bracelet making, which Harrison has been interested in lately, so he had a blast talking with the other kids and stringing up beads. There was no cost to the project, and in fact his kid's meal was FREE too. THANKS! I bought a pair of chocolate chip cookies for dessert and they were warm and fantastic too. I like eating Chick Fil A food already, so to have an extra bonus (kid's night) is only more incentive to drive here on Tuesdays for fun. PS: I watched them train a new employee at the register and wow, if only every fast food employee was prepared in the same manner. Many are either bored or rude, but not here.

The Christmas lights along the roofline make the whole place feel really festive when you pull into the parking lot at night. I've noticed this location seems to decorate every year and it always looks really clean and professionally done. It's a small detail but it definitely puts you in the holiday mood. Food and service were exactly what you expect from Chick-fil-A too. Friendly staff, fast service, and everything came out hot and fresh. Between the great service and the festive lights this location always stands out a little more around the holidays.

Sometimes the only thing that can alleviate the pure suffering of traveling through this godforsaken state is a decent tasting sandwich and thankfully, Jersey Mike's was able to be my vestige of good Cheer. Thank you team. And God(s) bless.

Or, #17 Famous Philly with yellow mustard added as a special request. The quality is consistent and quite good for a fast food place, and I say that as someone who is serious about subs and lives in an area with lots of quality sub shops.

They also offer value combo meals. I stopped by Holy Burger in Albany for lunch recently. The place was moderately busy, so I placed an online order through Toast. DoorDash ordering was not yet available. I was quoted a 20 minute wait after ordering on Toast. I walk up to the counter at my scheduled pickup time, but was told it'll be ready soon. However, my order was ready to go, 20 minutes after pickup time with some orders after mine getting completed before my order. The kitchen was very busy, but not very organized or efficient. A couple folks from a nearby car dealership actually waited longer than me for a large order and they were also missing a few items (they checked their bags before leaving). Anyways, I was given a bottle of Boylan's Ginger Ale at no charge for the long wait. The 2 Spicy Chicken Wrap Combo ($7.99 plus tax) with crispy fries and small can of Shasta ginger ale were very similar to the McD spicy chicken snack wraps with a breaded chicken tender, spicy sauce & lettuce in soft flour wrap. The fries were nice & hot, crispy rough texture outside. The Chopped Cheese Sandwich ($8 plus tax) had plenty of grilled chopped beef with American cheese, holy sauce on a soft toasted bun. Other than the very long wait, I would probably come back again once the kinks are addressed and order the Holy Burger and a strawberry milkshake.
