Stopped by this Chick-fil-A the other night and had to grab a photo because it looked great all lit up. The Christmas lights along the roofline make the whole place feel really festive when you pull into the parking lot at night. I've noticed this location seems to decorate every year and it always looks really clean and professionally done. It's a small detail but it definitely puts you in the holiday mood. Food and service were exactly what you expect from Chick-fil-A too. Friendly staff, fast service, and everything came out hot and fresh. First time EVER at a Chick Fil A. Wanted to see what the hype is all about. I have been wanting to try CFA for several years. This is what I got for $13 (see photo). 4 teeny weeny burnt tenders, and a side of Mac n cheese. The Chicken Tenders - Embarrassingly small. No shame from Chick Fil A, though. Staff has no problem totally ripping you off. The one flavor that is very distinct is SALT. I probably gained 3 pounds the next morning from the salt bloat. The Mac N Cheese - I could not gag it down. It was just mushy noodles in a wet bland sauce. My high school cafeteria made better Mac n cheese. I wanted to join the Bonanza and love Chick Fil A. But at the end of the day, I can't join the Cheer Crowd. The place is always busy with a big line (I am baffled by the sheep). With the increased inflation and cost of living, I would rather get a little more bang for my dollar. $13 for 4 teeny strips and a side of Mac n Cheese was a total rip off. And it hurts more when the food is cheap processed garbage. It would have cost me over $50 to feed this same meal to fa family of 4. I wish I had taken a ruler to the chicken tenders to put it in perspective. We are talking 2" chicken tenders. Stop Being Sheep, people. Don't believe the HYPE. Place is a total bust. read more

Last summer, Chick-fil-A opened two full service restaurants in the Capital Region and it seemed that people couldn't get enough. The lines of people and cars snaked around the buildings. This went on for months. I found the mania curious. For years, there's been a Chick-fil- A at the airport. So it wasn't the region's first introduction to the products. I recalled that the sandwiches were good, but I wasn't going to fight the crowds. Besides, the chain was also opening restaurants at the Thruway rest stops. My husband and I happened to be in North Greenbush the other day. There actually was a line of cars at the Chick-fil-A drive through but the restaurant itself wasn't very crowded. So I ordered an original chicken sandwich and waffle fries. The staff is young, friendly and very polite. I liked the fact that they bring you the order once it's ready. The inside of the restaurant looked very clean and a pleasant decor that was a step above most fast food chains. It didn't take long to prepare the meal. I liked the fries. The original chicken sandwich has a breaded cutlet. It was as good as I remember, but it didn't stand out. The cutlet was neither as thick as some competitors' nor was it as flavorful. Nevertheless, Chick-fil-A is a respectable contender as chicken sandwich businesses continue to battle for supremacy. read more

I really gotta say Chick-fil-A is really growing on me. The service I've encountered is really good, although they gotta make sure that the lids are on those sodas. Other than that, they're pretty spot on. They got a real good system. The chicken is decent along with the dipping sauce and the waffle fries. I'll be sure to try other items as I go back . Chick-fil-A is the pinnacle of fast food and I've waited my entire life for one to come to the Capital Region. Well, after years of heartache and pain that wait is finally over. As I walked in, the restaurant was packed to the brim. It had been a long time since I've had Chick-fil-A so I ordered a ridiculous amount of food. To explain, I ordered a chicken sandwich, tenders, waffle fries, macaroni and cheese, and a chocolate shake. With how busy it was I thought it would take a while, but by some miracle I received my food in about five minutes. With that being said, I immediately dug into the food and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken tenders were crispy, juicy, and tender. Plus, the Chick-fil-A sauce paired with them creates a magical flavor. To elaborate, the sauce was creamy, tangy, and sweet. I could guzzle it down by the gallons. Moreover, the chicken sandwich is by far the best fast food chicken sandwich. Popeyes chicken sandwich isn't even in the same realm as Chick-fil-A's. In addition, the fries were hot and crispy. Also, the mac and cheese was cheesy and tasty. Finally, the chocolate shake was excellent. The shake was creamy, sweet, and not too thick. Simply put, everything was great. To sum it up, this Chick-fil-A is as good as any. The food was excellent and the service was top notch. It still feels surreal that Chick-fil-A is now in the Capital Region, but I'm glad that it is. read more

Worst service I have seen in a drive thru. I was in line before 3 other cars and they proceeded to take their orders before mine. What is the issue here? Do you guys get to pick who's order you take? I wasted time and left without food. Hopefully you can improve on this. I see a bunch of bad reviews online about this particular chickfila. Guess they were all right. I think the set up for ordering is great but could use a few kinks ironed out. Seems to be staffed well and no complaints w the food that tasted fresh. Nice spot 2 miles down to eat it. read more

This was our second time trying Chick-Fil-A, the food was subpar, we found chicken bones inside our nuggets and sandwiches. The price for 2 people is similar to a diner with small portions. The service was good, staff were nice and we got our food very quickly. The restaurant looks nice and modern, if you are looking for a good chicken place I recommend Popeyes, they are cheaper and way better. read more

Service is a big problem at this location. When we arrived there with 8-10 cars in front of us. The wait time was 42 minutes. They would carry your food out to you but you were trapped in line behind cars that had not gotten order. I have been to many Chick-fil-A and never seen anything like this. The lines are still long at Chick-fil-A. I've gone a few times during different days and times. No matter the time or the day, be prepared to spend at least 30 minutes in line. I've waited up to an hour before. It doesn't help that once you're in line, you're stuck and unable to get out of line. When ordering, the workers are friendly. Then there's another line after ordering which takes awhile. It doesn't seem like food goes out in the order. I've been in front of the line with just ordering one meal, and have cars behind me get orders. When this happens, they are unable to leave until the cars in front of them leave. The food is still warm upon receiving it though, which is a plus! It is also very consistent and haven't had issues with anything missing or being cold. read more

This is absolutely the worst location i have ever visited. Service was horrible. Never saw anyone in charge. Line out the door and cashier closes down to fill cups and straws. Took forever to get order. Couldn't throw out trash because bins were stuffed and nobody emptied. Seemed to have lots of help but no direction. Not the best location. 50 minute wait for a small order in the lobby. After 30 minutes I watched people come in and leave with their order. When speaking with the manager he just simply tried to tell me it wasn't 50 minutes. When shown proof he simply switched gears and began trying to justify the wait time. Was there Thursday evening 12-21 and reading previous reviews I see things haven't changed 5 months later. The 3 stars are for the food but the service was slow to ridiculous for what was ordered this is not fine cook to order dining it's fast food but not on this night they still have plenty of bugs to work out here. If you're local and crave Chic-fil-a and won't be flying out of Albany International anytime soon I'd suggest go to Clifton Park location it's funny they opened at the same time as North Greenbush but seem to have it figured out, maybe this location will eventually read more

Their sandwiches and fries are awesome!!! I also had a milk shake (first one in years). It was delicious. My son lives in Tampa and always told me Chick fil A was so good. Happy we have one up here now. I highly recommend. Best of the fast food places around. read more

If I could leave zero stars, I would! I know they just opened but we had a large order for the drive-through. Bring it all the way home and half the order is missing. Now we are back at Chick-fil-A and the manager was not apologetic at all, and never even apologized. Just said that they would make what was missing and bring it out to the car when it was ready. No apologies! No, nothing! This is not the way Chick-fil-A employees are supposed to act. Especially a manager! He should be terminated immediately for violating the policies of Chick-fil-A! read more
