Burgers are good but not cheap. They give you tons of fries but I don't love them like some of the other reviewers do. The best thing about this place is that they have never ever gotten the order wrong. They even number the burgers in the order that you requested them so that when you sit down or get home you know exactly who gets what. The only thing that keeps me from going more often is the fact that they use chopped onion on the burgers. To me that's lazy and really hurts the taste. Overall...go, eat, enjoy! read more

Not sure how was the food because we didn't had chance to try it when the older lady behind the counter yelled "we don't allow dogs here" Funny thing is that the gentlemen by the door told us they do. I love this place!! I wanted to come here after watching a video on Youtube about it, when I heard one had moved to Daytona I jumped on it! I would visit more if I could.. Their Cajun fries are perfectly seasoned and blended. They have a wonderful punch and crunch! I can never get enough! Their burgers? Hands down, fantastic!! Great flavor and not near as greasy as Burger King or McDonald's. The staff are great and deck out your burger anyway you want - I go all out!! I love 5 guys food everything is exceptional. sad to have to give this one star because the service was horrible. Only one of the 5 burgers we ordered was correct and one wasn't even made. when I went up to tell the cashier they were wrong he told me he made them right, even after I showed him the burger that was completely wrong. The place is just like any other five guys; boxes of peanuts everywhere and guys cooking burgers. I don't eat meat, so I ate the veggie sandwich; it's just a burger with no meat. The flavor was good and nothing to rave, but I would stop by for another visit if I'm ever hungry and in the mood for some good fries. read more

Female that I am assuming is the manager was a total asshole to myself and my co-worker. We were attempting to put in our orders and 2 other orders for co-workers and she refused to allow us to use cards that did not have our own names on them and said we needed to go online and order. It wouldn't have been so bad if she was nice about it but she was rude and seemed angry when we tried to place the orders. Very unprofessional and I definitely won't be getting anything from this location in the future due to the fact that the last time I was here the same female was rude too. read more

Burgers were just ok. I guess ordering a burger all the way according to their sign has varied meanings. One of ours was completely plain. Fries were a generous serving but greasy. Inconsistent .... Ate here twice in one week .... only because it was so close to my hotel. Ordered double cheeseburger both nights .... One night was as delicious as the other night was bad. As I finished eating the 2nd night, I asked myself if I closed my eyes could I really taste the difference between a Five Guys and say, Wendy's? Maybe .... Maybe not. Five Guys across the country was usually pretty good....but at the location in Daytona Beach we have had really bad food. The couple of times we ate there the burgers were dried out and the fries were extremely greasy and stale. (Like they hadn't changed the grease vats in weeks) We gave the feedback to their Corporate office and they called us immediately. They promised to make it right by giving us a gift certificate for our bad experiences. (We have had more than one bad experience here) We never received anything. There are plenty of places to go out to eat at in the area that are much better for your money. Their prices have gone up while there food continues to deteriorate. So - Five Guys is not going to get our money any longer. read more

Standing at your locked front door at 11am. Employee sees me and walks right past to door to the far side door and unlock it first. Two employees behind counter look up and start laughing. That is not the way to do good customer service but will leave a lasting negative impression. Did I mention as I was standing outside the locked door it was raining?!? Last Time I was there they skimped on the fries. Two strikes against you you won't get a chance for third. Oh and the restaurant I ended up at was happy to have my business. The food was the typical high Five Guys quality, with fresh ingredients, and friendly service. But, what truly made the experience stand out was how quick it was. I don't know if they just weren't busy or something, but in the time it took me to fill my drink, find a table, and get a few ketchup packets my food was ready! Disappointing as usual, this is my second time eating five guys and again I am disappointed. The service was pretty good at this location but the food was just bland and the fries were soggy. Plus for two people lunch was $ 23, two burgers one fries one drink, something that at any other burger place would be $15 tops. Just arrived here from Vermont and first time eating at a Five Guys. Glad I don't live close by to one because I'd be there at least once a week and totally kill my diet. Cheeseburger with grilled onions they don't charge extra for and fresh cut fries. Yumm!! Love how happy and friendly the staff is also. Must be a fun place to work. read more
