The fries are not great but like In n Out the burgers are better and the taste is clean, not greasy. I'm glad this location opened as it's closer to home than the Pleasant HIll location. They offer plenty of options for toppings at no additional charge, but be careful because their normal burger has two patties, so you may want to ask for the little burger. Fresh cut fries, spicy is better! Every topping under the SUN at no extra charge, great sizes (small is always good enough), fresh rolls, every type of soda under the sun, well staffed, and perfectly cooked burgers with a well browned crust but not overdone. A highly recommended place! read more

Some have commented on the fact that the burgers can get soggy. I get that...but they are still damn tasty. Especially as how there are not many good burger places in Concord, around the Clayton Road area. They really pack the fries into the bag as well....just a ton of food. read more

Impeccable food and service. Love this place. I was a little annoyed today that the wait was really long and when i got my order it was wrong but the gentlemen was sooo nice and re made my order to perfection. He even let me keep the other order and offered to give me a double burger instead of the regular hamburger i orriginally ordered. Long story short my hamburger was perfect and i was really happy with the customer service and how they handled their mistake. Free peanuts!!! Yes please. All the burgers default to two patties, so for regular appetites I would go with the small. So many topping choices and I had all of them except hot sauce -yummy! Fries are salty, but I like them that way. Big bonus is that they have one of those soda machines that gives you infinite flavor choices. Great burger place. read more

When you pay almost $35 for two small, bland bacon burgers, two small fry's and two regular drinks, you would expect the food to be exceptional. Not the case it was barely acceptable. Cold buns, warm meat, cool fry's and they claim that they have all these flavors of drinks. In the two soda machines most were out and the machines are hard to work. Also, it doesn't matter if you take out or eat in, it comes in a bag, no trays. For the price charged you may as well go to a restaurant, where they have plates and hot food and it would probably cost less than here. For me there are just to many places to get hamburgers in this area that are cheaper and provide better values than paying this much for a marginal dining experience. read more

The location is out there for me but if I'm in the area and haven't had a burger in awhile, I'll stop by this place. Place hasn't been too crowded when I have been there. As always, you get a lot more fries than you can eat. Pay a little more than your usual fast food but has always been good for me. It took 4 people over 20 minutes to make 2 burgers that barely had any toppings, oh and i was the only customer waiting for food or in line that entire time. The most unorganized lazy workers i've seen in a while, also their attitude didn't help. I've been here before and the service was great but obviously things have gone downhill since then. Called in an order and left immediately to pick up. On arrival it was packed up and ready as they kept calling my name while I waited to pay. I spoke up and said I was there but waiting to pay. Most of the other negative reviews are spot on. Ordered 2 small burgers, 2 small fries, 2 small drinks + 1 milkshake and paid $32! The fries were over cooked and dumped into a paper bag on top of the burgers. The greasy burgers were nothing special and my daughter didn't enjoy her milkshake. The only thing we liked about this place was the drink machine with endless choices. Do yourself a big favor and avoid this overpriced place at all costs. In and Out burgers are much tastier and a better value. If you want to spend $30+ on burgers just go to a restaurant like Ed's in old town Clayton. read more

April 27,2018. This Five guys restaurant has people that don't listen to their customers. I had a family sized order and end up with 2 out of 4 burgers. I go back and order the rest of the little bacon cheeseburgers that I thought were in and the cashier charges me more than what the 2 burgers cost. Now I am waiting for my refund and to repay for the burgers that I ordered. I finally get home to eat with my family and the first 2 burgers from the original order was 1 bacon cheeseburger with everything on it and a little bacon cheeseburger with everything on it. Opened it up and both had everything on it, but no bacon or cheese. Opened the other 2 little bacon cheeseburgers and had only bacon and a beef patty in it even though I asked for everything on it with the cheese. Who orders a cheeseburger and says hold the cheese? These guys 2 guys that works over there are a bunch of jackasses. They should actually listen to the customer if they are taking the order. Never going here ever again due to those 2 workers that can't work under pressure or just bad work ethics. read more

I am glad someone else thinks this place needs room deodorizer. On my last trip I thought it was the place that had a bad smell, turns out it was the meat in the burger. It was choke and puke city. One disgusting bite and it was over. Don't know if the meat was tainted or just a poor grade. What ever it was I will NEVER go back. Check your meat, not fun when you get sick. YES YES YES!!!! Burger Nirvana near my sweet, well lit crib. The fries are amazing and the burgers are so fresh. They never charge extra for grilled mushrooms and the service is fast. I always get the Little Burger because the regular one is a double and that is a bit much for me. It beats the hell out of Burger KIng next door and will satisfy and burger craving. This is the worst experience I have ever had at a Five Guys restaurant. When we walked in, there were only two tables seated and no one in line. The floor was covered in peanuts, salt and pepper packets, and there was water and spilled milkshake all over the floor by the soda machine. Several of the tables were covered with garbage and all four of the trashcans inside the restaurant were overflowing with trash. One female employee was cleaning up the tables, one was getting himself a soda, one was on his cellphone behind the counter, and the two cooks were in a conversation with a girl that looked like she was eating her food at the pick up counter to have a conversation with them. Our party of four waited over two minutes to be greeted or acknowledged by any of the employees. We finally ordered and were given the receipt. We waited nearly 15 minutes for our food--all of which was made sloppily and incorrectly. We specifically asked for no onions (I'm allergic) and there were grilled onions on two of the four burgers. I ordered my burger with BBQ sauce and it was dry. My mom asked for lettuce, but there wasn't any. My dad asked for jalapeños but there weren't any. All of these things were ordered on our receipt, but weren't on the burgers. Also the Cajun fries were disgustingly over seasoned. Normally, I love them! I went up and asked for some BBQ sauce on the side, and I had to repeat myself three times to get anyone's attention. The workers were too involved in their conversation. I noticed that none of the workers were wearing gloves and although both male cooks had long hair, neither were wearing hair nets. None of us finished out burgers or fries. We've been eagerly awaiting the opening of the new Five Guys Burgers on Clayton Road, as we've heard their food is pretty good. After trying it, we all agreed it was good, but not excellent. It satisfies the need for a good burger and fries fix, but not something you'd really crave. Good for a quick lunch if you work in or are passing through the area. read more

I would give them 2.5 stars I am hoping that when they are open longer the disorganization will go away. People were waiting in the line to order where in the pick up line. The Soda machines are hard to navigate if you never used them (I love the selection but to figure out how to use this is ridiculous). Fries are good if you don't like crunchy. It is just like waiting in there like a train wreck. I did a web order and after 30 mins waiting I finally got it. They had to do a lot of redo because of the errors, in one instance I saw the person come up at least 2 times. I know they are busy but they are slow anyhow so there shouldn't be that many errors.
