The floor was really nasty, slippery with grease plus garbage, napkins and of course peanut shells every where. Not good.

Worst food ever! The place was dirty. Several tables had crumbs. One table had peanut shells underneath. I didn't see anyone cleaning. The layout of tables was horrible. Several tables were pushed together in sets of three which wasn't ideal for 2 people. Chairs were dirty. Had a difficult time finding a clean table to sit at. Waited about 20 minutes for our food. Veggie sandwich and little burger. I couldn't even pick up the sandwich because of greasy, soggy vegetables that had soaked into the hamburger bun and caused the whole thing to collapse. I had to eat it with a fork, but ended up throwing most of it away because it was just inedible. Really, just spend the money on better quality buns and train your cooks not to overcook veggies. Husband's burger, didn't hold up much better. He also ended up going for a fork. Fries were ok. Definitely won't be going back! Waiting for Panera to open. A week ago or so my friend and I was driving to Burger King and I noticed this place opened up. My boyfriend and one of my friend came to my house and we were deciding where to go to eat. I told my boyfriend this place opened up and he told me its the competator of In-N-Out. I didn't know that. I didn't eat here before, first time. But my friend said its expensive but goot quality. So we walked there (across the street from my house) and looked at the menu what they have to offer. It's like In-N-Out, but pretty expensive like my friend was saying. My boyfriend got a cheese burger (all the way without grilled mushrooms [he hates mushrooms]) and I got a hamburger (all the way) with french fries. My friend just ordered fries. We didn't know what they ment by "All the way," but it included mayo, lettice, pickles, tomatoes, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, ketchup, and mustard. I reallized half of these things I don't like with my hamburger like pickles and onions, but when we got the order, the hamburgers was HUGE! and they put 2 pattys. I didn't expect it to be like that. It was a good thing, but it's messy. The fries was kept in a cup but had leftover or was overflowing the bag. We had to take out the fries. My friend didn't finish her fries too. Also It was getting greasy. Like the bag was greasy that she had to ask for another bag. I didn't expect it to be this good. I consider it is better than In-N-Out in a way (quality), but pricing, I prefer to pick In-N-Out (a lot cheaper). :) We're gonna definatly come by again! :) read more

I want to give this place the love they deserve. I just had an incident with an F*****ing B*****th in the crosswalk, she was in the wrong, her car was totally in the crosswalk, so when I walked in I was a little steamed, and told the cool dude about it, he gave me a cup for some water. I totally felt the love here. What did I order? That is a great question? Well...I was stinking starvin!!!! Just like Marvin!!! I had ordered a Bacon Double Cheeseburger and a small order of fries. I was ready to eat right away once the food was ready. I really like the layout of these places. In some ways Five Guys reminds me of Fudruckers just a much smaller menu. I took tons of pictures when I was there that I will also post on Yelp. I can tell that the people that work here are very friendly and get along really well with each other. When I had to go was my hands...yes...this food is very greasy!!!!!!! Duh!!!! The young gal that works there Taylor cleaned up my mess. The two things that blew my mind away when eating at Five Guys for the first time is how you can add whatever toppings to your burger for FREE and the different selections of flavors of sodas you can get. Other than those things I thought the quality of the cheeseburger that I got was just ok. The person that made my burger put WAAAAY too much mustard on my food...and this is coming from someone that loves mustard. I personally prefer an In & Out burger but my husband begs to differ. I seriously don't get what all the hype is about. It is nothing special. They burgers are cooked well done, and I don't think that enhances the flavor of the meat. I ordered a hamburger, and got 2 patties when I really don't like that much meat. It was overall bland and boring. I didn't even really want to finish it because it became tedious and monotonous. Too long didn't read: nearly all recent reviews are 1 star. Don't bother with this place, it went downhill fast. Also, I posted this months ago on this location, but somehow it ended up on a 5 guys in a different state. I'm pretty sure I didn't screw up the location of where I posted this... seems shady. Original review: Terrible. I called in an order and was told they would get started on the burger, and wait until I got there to drop the fries. I walk in 10 minutes later, check in and pay. They tell me it will be 2 minutes while they cook the fries. I leave a tip, grab a drink, and take a seat with a clear view of the counter. I was the only customer there, which seemed odd to me with it being 5pm on a weekday, but I didn't think much of it. In retrospect, a place with food as good as Five Guys being empty during prime-time on a weekday should have been a massive red flag. 10 minutes go by and nothing. Odd, but whatever, maybe the oil wasn't heated up or something. A minute later a guy walks in and orders. Another 5 minutes go by and a lady walks in an orders. 5 more go by and the guy gets called up, his order is ready, and the lady has just been given one of her bags. Now I'm pissed. I go to the counter trying to not take it out on the cashier, she wasn't there when I first walked in. She called out to Damien... or Darrel... Darnel? Whatever his name was it started with a D. She asked if he forgot about me, he froze looked at me, and sort of half-assed said he would drop some fries, then suddenly stops like he changed his mind and straight up lies. He says he called my name earlier but I never answered. Keep in mind I was the ONLY person there for the first 10 minutes, with a clear view of the counter. No one called my name. I could see my bag still sitting on the shelf and it clearly never had fries put in it (not a spec of grease visible). The cashier could also tell he was full of it, and made him come give me my money back. I walked out of there with nothing but wasted time and a tip I will never get back. I should have made him dig the tip back out of the tip jar and give it to me, but I guess he gets to keep my tip for doing nothing. Lesson learned. I will NEVER leave a tip in one of those jars ever again for any business. I will also not be frequenting this place. The service was OK when it first opened, but the last 3-4 times I've been there over the past year it seems to have gotten worse every time. read more

I wrote to their "customer service" through their website but they didn't bother to respond so I guess that's my answer as to how much they care about their customers. This location isn't as good as the rest. They don't seem to follow the traditional Five Guys methods. For example, when ordering fries everyone know they add another mound of fries inside the bag. Not here, I got 4 fries in the bag and those might have fallen out of the small fries container I ordered. I'm also not sure but the burgers are smaller... That's not The complete reason why they're getting a 2. This location has a habit of not putting people on hold and just set the phone down. Can you think of anything bad that can happen if you don't use the hold button? RIGHT, you get left on hold and forgotten. If you call back? RIGHT, the phone is off the hook you can't get through! This has happened to me 3 of the last 4 times I've tried to eat here. You can hear everything so I heard that they were done helping the in-store customers. The first time I even heard their goofing around, bad language and all. If you're really in the mood for Five Guys do yourself a favor and drive to the Pleasant hill location. This place looks to be getting better. I came in for dinner with the family and we had a great experience. The food was delicious. We expected to wait longer for our food than we had to.
