Love the pineapple double cheese burgers. Only think I hate is peanuts everywhere, daughters allergic.

It was my first time ever going to a five guys and I left crying. I came in starving but waiting patiently. Of course after I receive my food, I want ketchup in a little ketchup cup but there were none restocked. So, I asked the lady for some and she sent a painfully slow worker out to replace them. Instead of giving me one right away, he decided to restock each little cup one by one. It was pure torture. It had been about a minute of him doing this and I was FREAKING STEAMING I was off my FLIPPING ROCKER I wanted so bad to sock him in the head with my greasy big bag of burgers and overly salty cajun fries but instead I ran out crying in agonizing disappointment and wasn't even hungry anymore. I always love Five Guys (former NoVA resident) and they rarely disappoint.

Pretty good burger joint with a nice variety of options. Nice clean restaurant with a helpful staff. The only real downside, is it's a little pricey since everything comes separate. read more

I love this place. Great burgers with all kinds of toppings at no additional charge, including mushrooms and grilled onions. They have the best housecut fries ever - Juicy inside and with slivers of skin left on and they give you lots of them. The hotdogs are also a big hit. Very cool soda machine and loads of free peanuts while you're waiting. read more

We ordered online at 12:30 for a 1:15 pickup. We ordered 6 burgers, all with different toppings, and 3 cajun fries. We get there at 1:20 and have to wait another 25 minutes. Keep in mind this is an hour and fifteen minutes after the order is placed and 30 minutes after it was supposed to be ready. The girl behind the counter was extremely rude. We get home and we are missing one burger completely and the other five were completely wrong. NOT ONE BURGER WAS RIGHT!!! We ordered three Cajun fries and got two Cajun and one regular. These burgers with fries are a little under $10.00, not cheap by any means. The flavors are good and the burgers are good sized portions, but for that kind of money and the fact that an online order is in PRINT, there should be NO MISTAKES!!! Not to mention, 30 minutes late??? Really FIVE GUYS, get it together!!! Otherwise, there are plenty of other burger joints around. At the very minimum, train your staff to be friendly! I know this is a "burger" place but even McDonald's has "healthy" or "low fat" options. I was disappointed that they didn't have at least a grilled chicken burger or a veggie patty. No salads. Nothing remotely healthy. Again, I know it's a burger place but it's always nice to have at least 1 alternative on the menu. The burger was okay. Not as great as everyone claims them to be. I still think you can get a better burger at Chili's, Fudruckers etc. The bun was too wet and the burgers are very greasy here. The flavor was alright but I still think there are several other places to get a good, quick burger. The fries were over done. Boo! The plus is they have a REALLY cool soda machine. It's all digital and they have a TON of Diet options in the soda dept and you can customize your own flavor combination. I've never seen a Coke machine like the one at the Concord Five Guys, very cool tho. This is not a place I'd go out of my way to find and eat but if no other food options were around, I'd eat here again. Hopefully they'll put at least 1 healthy option on the menu, tho! read more

This is not a fast food restaurant. There was the time we waited 40 minutes for our 2 burgers and little fries after ordering. There was the time that they were out of fries for the evening. After not going here in 6 months, we decided to try to see if things had gotten better. They had not. We ordered on the app and it said 8 minutes. I got there in 5 and they said I was early so I had to wait a while. I arrived right after order #19. Order #21 arrived 5 minutes after I had (so 10 minutes after my order). I finally got my order after waiting 15 minutes at the restaurant after order #22 got his food and another app order person came in and got their food. I've never particularly enjoyed the food here, but I live nearby, so every so often I'll give it a try. I tend to be underwhelmed. Tonight marks the second time in a row that my order was wrong. Service is not amazing, but whatever. And the Cajun fries were spiced to within an inch of inedibility. Do yourself a favor and go next door to Burger King. I'd say the quality is on par with this place. read more

I have eaten here many times. The burgers are ok - not enough meat on the Little Cheeseburger for the price. But, I really come here for the fries. Last night we come in and there were tons of people. We found out it was a fund raiser night. We ordered and we always get the regular fires. We got our bag and there were hardly any fries in it. I thought they messed up and gave us the small one even though I did not even think it was enough for a small one. The person I was eating with absolutely agreed. I went up and told the guy that we hardly had any fries. He showed me the size of the cup and told me we had a regular. I said well, there was not enough in it then. They always spill out all over. anyway, he just looked at me and did not offer anything. Nothing. He did not care what I thought at all. Sad customer service. Very sad. What would it have cost 5 guys to give me a few more fries when I obviously thought they had made a mistake. Poor very poor customer service. read more

I love going to "5 Men", and I normally go to the San Jose location when I work out there. I was shocked to find out one open close to my home, so I checked it out. Overall, the food was as expected (which is good), but this location is quieter (less traffic), and it's missing a little of the flare the San Jose location had. So Five Guys is a nice alternative if you need a burger or hot dog fix. Everything is made to order, nothing is frozen, and it's made to your specifications. Having free peanuts while you wait is a nice touch. Everything is made to go, even if you eat there. If I had one quip, and this has nothing to do with the location, but something that the chain practices in general is that everything is wrapped in tinfoil, which makes for a saggy bun (if it's wrapped too long-- say you take it to go and bring it home). I kind of wish they would wrap in paper instead, but it's not a deal breaker. read more

I came to this restaurant for the first time on Sunday, July 19th. Living in Clayton, you don't have many choices when you're hungry at 8:30pm (most restaurants are "closing soon"). I had heard from my son that the burgers were good, so I loaded up the dog and went for a short ride. It had been a very hot day out here in Clayton, and was still in the 80's, so I left all the windows down in the car and went in. My dog is a 95 pound beast but I still worry leaving him alone in the car with the windows completely down. I placed my order and told the guy (didn't get his name) that I would wait by the door so I could keep an eye on my dog. I was completely surprised when he asked where I was parked and offered to bring my food out to me! That's what I call great customer service. The food was good, although the Little bacon cheeseburger could have had a bit more seasoning. I will be back for sure, and this time will eat outside with my dog (ordering an extra patty for him!). read more
