If you want a huge gourmet burger to order cooked over oak this is the place to go at frontier mall. While it is a national chain it is a great place with outside and inside dining. I would recommend splitting fries they are delicious but you will take them home with you. Peanuts are free and you can toss the shells on the floor! Expensive but worth it. Quick service. read more

Five Guys Cheyenne WY has NEVER gotten it right for me!!! Well, we saw a review about the Cheyenne WY store suggesting they got their act together. As far as our visit, NOT THE CASE!!! I ordered 2 burgers & fries. The quality of ingredients is high, and their "assembly" of burgers SUCKS!!! Both the burgers buns were SMASHED FLAT!!! My burger was missing 3 of 4 vegetables. Maybe they were super busy? Nope! One person in the dining room, me then a door dash driver walked in. That's it. What could be the reason for such a HUGE failure to properly assemble a burger? Coming back after two unsatisfactory visits to say we had a good experience tonight! Burgers on intact buns that weren't squished, adequate toppings on the burger (instead of loosely in the wrapper), plenty of fries and a refreshing soda. Glad they turned things around. It may have helped that we came at 4:30pm on a Friday instead of 5:30, but I'm glad to see them back to regular standards. read more

If you don't mind paying double the value of what you're receiving then this is a fun place to get a fast food meal. As soon as you get your burger unwrap it from the foil or it'll get really soggy really fast. The fries may be limp, but they'll still be tasty. After eating at Five Guys several times it dawned on me that I could get a better meal for half the price or less at numerous fast food and/or sit down restaurants in town. So if you have money to burn, give Five Guys a try. It's a no service style place. They call you when your food is ready and you go up and get it. It's easy to get the condiments you might want. I love the peanuts in the shell that you don't have to pay extra for and the piles of potato sacks that are always in the store. Five Guys has always been pricey for what you get but are now way beyond reasonable. It's just not worth it. Overrated, Overpriced, Overplayed! The burger itself is off a griddle not flame broiled, the frys were great, but I wouldn't drive past any other burger joint for them. The price of the subpar burger alone was $10,59, almost $2.00 more than the double whopper combo, because Burger King actually serves a combo meal. Sorry but this place is overhyped and way overpriced for a subpar burger and home frys. What a burger or Burger King is far better tasting and a much better deal! Cross country driving is literally my least favorte thing to do ever. This is now my 4th time driving cross country and hopefully the last time I'm moving. After driving so many times cross country i have developed a special admiration for truck drivers they literally have the worse job ever. I see that a few times some of them being their dogs with them. That definitely would make the job like 10x better. My dad and I stopped at this five guys for a quick dinner because we were exhausted and didn't feel like going to a sit down. This five guys is located in a little mall, no linein front of us so we ordered right away. I got a cheeseburger with every topping available, green pepper, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, jalapeños etc. Hamburger came wrapped in foil, and juice spilling everywhere. The hamburger ingredients were super fresh and juicy. I like how the cheese is melted inside the patty. We ordered a large fries which was a mistake cuz I could only eat about 3 and we ended up tossing the rest of the fries. Better than the other faat food burger joint in this area, so not a bad stop if you're doing a cross country road trip. read more

Gotta be honest right.... I hate leaving bad reviews, but every now and again it is deserving. This is by far the worst Five Guys experience I have had. Usually on my fave list, this one did not measure up. I've had awesome Five Guys experiences all over. Washington, South Carolina, New Mexico, Georgia, Colorado, South Dakota, Montana. This is my first bad burger at Five Guys. It was about 7:30 pm, the restaurant was not busy. We each got a cheeseburger, one with mushrooms and one without. Both arrived over toasted (yet not hot), with cheese slices that weren't melted. Fries were good, but after the burger disappointment they just weren't good enough. It took longer than normal to get our food, probably 10 minutes...unsure why. The staff was very friendly but needed to be more on the ball with food delivery. This one was in a mall and right next to a Dickies BBQ, next time we will have Dickies. read more

Short: Not bad for the quality of the burger and toppings you can get. Little pricey but better than the restaurant chains around. Fries can be salty especially the cajun but they are thick cut so you can still taste that it is actually made from a potato unlike some places that have thin grease sticks. Long: Ordered a little bacon cheeseburger, it was made correct as requested. Also ordered the cajun fries. Salty but with the malted vinegar they were pretty tasty. My biggest gripe is for whatever reason I haven't received a nice hot semi-greasy, cheesy, melty burger from this place like when I have gone to the 5 guys in Fort Collins which turned me onto 5 guys in the first place. Their burgers are delicious. I've been all over the US and one thing I can say about 5 Guys is their consistently delicious burgers. I love how they don't charge extra for additional toppings either. You can basically make any kind of burger you want! :) BUT I don't go to 5 Guys often (and when I do, it's because of family insisting). Why? I intensely dislike their fries. I like crisp, lightly salted fries.... and 5 Guys fries are the very opposite of that. They are dark, limp, and always heavily salted. (And no, getting less salt would not help them. That would just make them bland and limp!) It's not a location thing either, it's just the recipe/cooking method 5 Guys uses. Of course I could just get the burgers.... but I don't see the point in that. Their menu consists pretty much of burgers and fries, that's it. Without liking the fries, I'm cut off from one of the things that supposedly makes this chain so great. And since I can find delicious burgers AND fries elsewhere... well, why settle for less? That being said, if you love limp fries, you will love 5 Guys. If you're like me and don't like limp fries, but you've never been to a 5 Guys, I recommend trying them anyway. Just make sure to take a 2nd person if you decide to get the fries. A small order of fries is enough to feed 2 adults! (No joke! When you watch the poorly train cook at the grill constantly poking holes in your beef patty to see if it is done there by letting out all of the juices thus making it very dry. My family went here yesterday, not only did it cost us $70 but it took over a 1/2 hour to get our food and when we received it, the all 5 orders of fries were dumped into one bag, we had 3 orders of Cajun and 2 orders of regular for the kids. They also messed up our hamburger orders and when I confronted them about the situation I was told that the fry guy was new and if we wanted we they could put a rush on the order to get a 2 new burgers out. When we first moved to Cheyenne two years ago, we were very pleased to find a Five Guys in town, as it was one of our favorite spots to eat in Wichita, Ks. At first the food was great and the fries were fresh, we even enjoyed the employee who took our order as he was very upbeat and over-the-top. Our last few visits have been disappointing. The cheese was not melted on the grilled cheese or on the burgers, the fries seemed old and the bag had very few extras inside. We were accustomed to fresh fries, almost too hot to eat over-flowing in our bag. We thought this was a fluke the first time, but it has become the norm. It will definitely effect our decision making when looking for a burger place to stop. read more
