Yummy & the burgers are good too! Cheeseburger Onions* Lettuce Pickles Tomatoes

Great burgers & the Cajun fries have some zip to them. There's a wide selection of free toppings that you can add to your burgers or hotdogs. They also offer grilled cheese sandwiches for the littles. The peanuts in the shell is a tribute to our Southern roots and the kids love them. The only set back is that it is rather pricey. You do pay for a good quality burger, fresh cut fries, & this isn't a fast food place (even though they do a great job getting the food out quickly). I would recommend this to anyone wanting a quality quick lunch or a date night especially with a group of friends. Just make sure you bring your appetite!

Everyone that works there is so nice!! Food taste so fresh and has such great taste! They are a bit pricey for a burger but it's so worth it! Great burger place for sure. So many condiments make for a great was to individualize your own burger. Their Fries are awesome when you add the vinegar they have available for you to enjoy. They even have free peanuts for you to snack on while you wait for your meal!! Awesome environment to enjoy a meal with friends and family.

    One tasty burger

I opted for their regular Grindhouse burger that had caramelized onions mixed in with the double patties and cheese. It was sloppy, but delicious. Their crinkle fries come out crispy as well, no soggies! Got a side of cheese sauce for dipping and it had a little kick that I liked. The interior is small so seating is limited.

Great service even for takeout. Lady was upset sweet and gave us suggestions also didn't rush us. Cute and casual vibe. Mocha milkshake - 8/10 a little too sweet for me and wished it was more coffee flavor but solid Frings- I wish they gave us more it was just a couple of each but sweet potato fries were 10/10 AMAZING. O-rings were a lil under seasoned but 7/10 Cheesy puffs- very interesting texture. Wish it was a bit spicier but have t had something like this. Would have also appreciated more crunch. Great with chipotle ranch. LOVE 9/10 Turkey burger lettuce wrapped - this was so funny! I go pretty much a whole half head of lettuce. Great flavor even without the cheese. 8/10 Brussel sprouts - good flavor but a little burnt. Love the glaze a bit greasy tho 8/10

That kind of hospitality always elevates a meal. The onion rings were the absolute star. Perfectly crisp and golden on the outside, tender on the inside, and seasoned just right. Easily some of the best I've had and worth ordering every time. The burgers were solid and cooked as ordered, and the buns deserve special mention -- super soft, fresh, and a great complement to the patties without falling apart. The pimento cheese, however, was a bit underwhelming and didn't quite deliver the flavor punch I was expecting. Overall, excellent service, standout onion rings, and good burgers make this a place I'd happily return to.

Yes, one may put cheese on the Italian beef, but then it automatically is not "authentic" because it becomes a crossover then. This is not to be a French dip sandwich or a Philly cheesesteak. It's the Chicago Italian beef which is supposed to have four components that must all work together: thin sliced roast beef, the au jus, hard roll/bun, giardiniera. That's it. I thought the sandwich was good, but just not authentic. The beef was a little thicker cut but ample quantity. The giardiniera was plenty hot but scant, so they did promptly bring a side portion for me, the au Jus didn't have the same spice mixture and was more of a French dip than the spicier Italian beef and usually I get mine dunked, so this was just a side dip, but off the flavor of IB. I think the cheese used was Havarti, which is interesting, even though it's not supposed to be there, one would have expected provolone or mozzarella. I also had a couple of onion rings, very heavily breaded, cooked to perfection but tasted like fried chicken more than onion ring. This is not a negative review since the food was good and price/value was also good, it's just that neither item was "authentic" to the original target. I would eat here again in a heartbeat and most definitely order a burger because that is their thing.

From the moment we arrived, it was obvious this place has built a loyal following. The setup is simple: place your order, grab a seat, and enjoy. What made me laugh was that many of the "tables" are surrounded by lawn chairs. It's not what I expected, but somehow it fits the laid-back personality of the place perfectly. There are a few traditional tables available, but the lawn-chair seating adds to the charm. I ordered the "My Pleasure" biscuit, which comes with fried chicken, egg, and cheese. The chicken was flavorful, and the sandwich was very tasty overall. The chicken was a little dry when combined with the biscuit, but not enough to keep me from enjoying it. It was still a satisfying breakfast and easy to see why it's a popular menu item. If you're looking for a quick, casual, and uniquely Athens breakfast experience, Cafe Racer is worth a stop. Good food, reasonable prices, and enough personality to make the meal memorable.

It was good, mostly for the tangy avocado sauce upon it. Second, the tater taco, it was just too much potato and not much else. Ratio was off. Third, and I saved best for last: Pickleback. OMG. YALL. This crazy taco was insanely good. It was "mustard sausage" with a "breakfast sauce" and some dill pickles. When I say it was good... wuh. I'm a foodie, and I was blown away. So tangy, juicy and FULL of flavor. Perfect blend of fatty sausage, mustard, sweet sauce and tangy pickles. I can't say enough about it. They really hit it outta the park. The coffee was good. We will be back, if only for that savage lil taco. Yes, service was polite and efficient. Despite a double line of cars that would make Chik-fil-A jealous. We went to the window and they had old timey style beach chairs. Wife and daughter didn't want to eat there, so back to the Air-B-n-B.
