I know the prices are high but to have EMPTY REFRIGERATORS, till I asked one of the Managers in the area. According to him the store lost power NOT TARGETS FAULT BUT NATIONAL GRID! So, they estimated that 1/4 of a MILLION DOLLARS OF MEATS and all other refrigerator items were thrown in the dumpster! What's extremely disturbing is that some of the public was trying to salvage some of that food!!! With many people suffering from Food INSECURITY ALL WAS DISPOSED! TARGETS REASON: LIABILITY! Why don't they have anyone that wanted to salvage the waste to sign waivers or donate what was sealed and vacuum packed! Just cause it was 6 hours without refrigeration I'm sure it was still healthy to eat and feed just think what A QUARTER OF A MILLION DOLLARS OF FOOD COULD HAVE BEEN SUPER BENEFICIAL! Sorry to hear this from actual Target employees and they feel the same way! What a tremendous WASTE! If they took it upon themselves to forgo LIABILITY FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THOSE STRUGGLING TO MAKE ENDS MEET! Good thing is found some randomly marked down toys on one of the end caps. Totally unnecessary purchase, but at 75% off, it was a reasonable deal.

First, let me state that this is my 3rd time at this store in about four years.  My previous visits went well.   Customer service, employee interactions, product selections, and availability were very good.  My experience, this time, was marred significantly by two employees when I sought to check out. Asset employee Jeffrey Porter-he very belligerently gave me his name--was very hostile and kept interjecting negative comments while I was speaking to another employee who was called over in reference to the 15 item limit policy  There was only one cashier on duty at the time at register 5. She was checking out a large order. Additionally, he stated he was "The Enforcer"of store policy. Stated that there was a lot of theft at this store. With all that that implies, it was obvious he believed i was stealing. Otherwise, why bring up theft when im inquiring about policy? And that the manager was not available. When I asked for a number and Store Mgr name, I was told that didn't matter.  This occurred at approximately 8 am. The second employee was a grey haired grandmotherly type and also was rude.  The 3rd employee i interacted with was trying to explain the 15 item limit policy in between comments and interjections from Jeffrey Porter.  However, she did manage to understand that i understood the time of day and staffing of cashiers in the morning and that my issue was the poor customer service I was experiencing from the two employees.  She also stated I would get the store managers name and phone number i could call from the receipt.  The managers name was, "TBD." So. I am going to call the number and see if I can get a name later this morning. I urge all seniors/veterans to avoid this location until such a time as these employees can receive training/retraining or counseling for the PTSD they are obviously suffering from due to to the "thefts" they told me about  in addition to having a manager named TBD.

I check in there about once a month now and must times I leave empty handed. The vinyl section is still robust but ever since records starting making a comeback the prices have jumped outlandishly. I see records for sale there that I bought for half the price. The CD section seems to be dwindling down which is depressing for me to see. There used to be a large shelf filled with box sets that has disappeared. The prices for new CDs have also jumped substantially, which is odd for a format that has become dormant. Years ago it was a 5 star store but now it's a 3 for me personally.

She's also wrapping each gift and on top of that using one paper for my daughter and another paper for my son. We all shop on Amazon for the convenience but my god, how nice is the personal touch. Vintage fashion, unique items of yesteryear, and new artisan crafts and practical gifts are meticulously displayed in attractive booths from different owners. Excellent reuse of a historic building.
