I really appreciate the fact that they have gift options set up on tables as you walk into the door. And they're scattered throughout the store. That's how I got the idea of what I wanted to purchase. And of course, I bought a few things for myself. Whenever I come across Rachel Zoe towels I buy myself a set. They' thick and they last. This Marshall is around the corner from my partner's house so I'll be coming here often. The cashiers are always friendly and even though the check out line was long, it moved quickly! The store is clean & organized, which is a plus since it's already somewhat overwhelming to come into a Marshalls and just buy one thing.

I can find a bunch of stuff to get while visiting whether I need it or not!! Lol They seem to have a large selection of toiletries. I'm talking hair wash, lotions, soaps and other skin care items. They also have a large selection of luggage. I most recently wanted a beautiful piece of luggage, and found it there. I must admit, my favorite thing about this place is it's employees. Everyone is always very nice and kind of no matter how busy, or slow they are. There are days that they're swamped, I'm not even talking about holidays. They still smile and treat you with respect, I appreciate that a lot. Looks like they have my business for a while.

Unlike Marshall's, I am rarely ever able to find anything in TJ Maxx. It is the rare occasion that I will stop by and find an item or two, but it is never where I find an abundance of any one thing. I have perused a number of sections from beauty to household goods and the beauty section is where I typically find good stuff. For this reason, I stopped by today because I have found that if Marshall's does not have the hair styling products that I like, it is a great chance that I will find it at TJ Maxx. Well, I went to this store yesterday looking specifically for hair products and was able to find quite a bit and the brands that I like. I walked into the store, located what I was looking for and went directly to the checkout line. I really like how structured this visit went, which was a far cry from my usual pop-ins to see if I find anything. Those visits always leave me disappointed.

He paid with a credit card and they offered me a gift card. Two books that were on my wish list were, Joanna Grimes' "The Stories We Tell" and Matthew Perry's "Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Things". Because of Cyber Monday they were both on sale and there was an additional 10% off. Very rare to see the books I want on sale or have online promotional codes. To take advantage of the 10% off, I placed the order online with pick up in store. I received an email when it was ready. It was a seamless process and I left very happy with my purchases and prices. Can't wait to read them.

Of course I also picked up an extra book as well. The cafe serves Starbucks products, though limited. My Starbucks gift card is no good there . Spring temps are wild. Still I recommend this location.

This location in Arbutus is always well stocked and has the items that l come for when l don't have the time and/or don't want to visit those mass retailer stores and pay 2 times more for the same items. The one thing I love about this location is that it is open 24 hours! Checkout is always hassle free and on your receipt they sometimes have a coupon for $5 off an upcoming date specific visit of $25 or more. All in all a great store to visit to pick up items when you are in a pinch and want to save money.

It's a dirty disgusting strip mall and the store itself is repulsive. It honestly looks like they've never even once cleaned the store. Especially the floors. Once they run out of something they literally never stock it ever again. Once it's gone it's gone for good. No matter how well it's selling. The cashiers are rude, the store has a customer feedback email but they actually write in the sign to not provide feedback if it's at all negative. I'm not even joking. It actually says that! Their air conditioning is regularly broken and at times the refrigerators so you can just imagine how sanitary and safe that Frozen food is, they typically are incapable of breaking any bull larger than a $10 but never put up any signs. You find out at checkout which is really infuriating to customers as I've witnessed myself. The owners clearly do not care about their customers or view them as anything more than dollar signs, there are constantly homeless drug addicts hanging outside begging for change and cigarettes when they're not inside the store stealing and causing chaos, most but not all employees are extremely lazy and it shows, there's never any prices on anything and when there is it's rarely accurate which you'll also discover when you reach the register. Of course that typically takes around 10 mins or longer once you're in line regardless of whether there's 2 people or 20 people in line. This was your warning so if you shop there anyway, do not complain when you have a horrible experience.
