So I decided to turn around on a random street and there she was: a small building with various inviting pieces laid out around the entryway in the parking lot. Garden objects on a Sunny early spring day - It was like a magnet to me! Inside I found heaps of gorgeous home furnishings, fine china, vintage wares, tools, art, trinkets and some clothing too. I could spend hours in there simply exploring. I didn't even get to focus on the jewelry in cases at the front desk, but there's always next time. The space was bigger than I realized once inside and they make great use of the space. I couldn't imagine nicer people than the two ladies who checked us out. Definitely check it!

I purchased it over twenty years ago and have loved it ever since. I have an interior design business and I believe that carefully curated furnishings, decor, and artwork with history and character help make a house more of a beautiful home. Objects Found is where I have enjoyed hunting and gathering so many unique and lovely, vintage finds for myself and my client's' homes over the years. Every one you encounter there is so welcoming and helpful. When customer service is a rarity these days, the shopping experience at Objects Found is truly appreciated. Reggie operates two sister stores as well - Objects Found in Arbutus and the Artful Flea (right around the corner on Winters Lane). All true gems in our Catonsville community!

Darling handmade jewelry, wine stoppers, cheese markers...all made with old silverware pieces. They do not have a large selection of items, but nonetheless it's worth stopping by to browse. Like most antique places, there are one of a kind items. The chalk painted pieces are nicely done!

The part of the store with the counter, the register and the high-end display items look like they might belong on Fifth Avenue - if they dealt in such things, I suppose. I found all of the staff to be incredibly helpful and polite, and were even willing to negotiate a bit on their prices. (I try not to push that envelope in such places, it seems and feels a bit tacky or low-class.) Most of the items are really nice, and the rougher items still fit into the "shabby chic" range - and are priced accordingly. The layout of the store invites you to explore, and there's not a whole lot of categorization (I prefer this method). The nice thing about the store is that A.) they have sporadic updates on Facebook, and B.) they're surrounded by other antique stores. While the competition are bit more plain, it's nice that you can shop from store to store. The other shops nearby range from very rough (found/discarded items), to true rustic antiques, to an auction shop/antique mall. I spent nearly an hour and a half browsing the store, and felt bad I couldn't walk away with anything - but did find a nice shelf/side table across the street for $15. If you visit here, and like what you see - I highly recommend Corner Cottage in Hunt Valley.
