I saw this scarf on display on a mannequin and I asked if it came in different colors and they went to go look since I am not a big fan of the browns in my attire choices. Since we had cooled down significantly as we were shopping, we got hungry and asked if we could place the items on hold since we didn't want to carry our purchases until the end of our exploration and headed back to the car. She also told me that they have a website with many items for sale from their actual sales floor that could be shipped and proceeded to tell me how the store got started. Decided to check out Kohl's for Black Friday. No, I did not go right at the height of all of the…read morecraziness. Since I wasn't in the market for electronics, I decided to let things die down and go later on in the day. I'd been working to upgrade my second bedroom to mimic a hotel feel...you know, all white linens and such? Well... Thank you, Kohl's for coming through with an excellent deal!! I was able to purchase several towels, washcloths, sets of sheets, and blankets...for ~85 bucks (after the Black Friday discount). So, you know what that means...$15 Kohl's cash!!!! Ya darn right. After realizing that I was $15 short from getting an additional $15 in Kohl's cash. So, duh, I bought more stuff to get the addt'l moolah! haha. One thing that almost risked me having an unpleasant service experience: My cashier. So, I inquired about a military discount and she wasn't sure if her store participated in that....and she continued to hand me my bag and usher me away. um.no. So I asked, "could you look into it, please?" and she replied "well even if I look into it now, I've already cashed you out so you'll have to go to customer service anyway." She went on to pick her nose and look away. A bit miffed, I shuffled on over to customer service...already feeling a little "enh" about everything. I was greeted by the friendliest and most helpful customer service associate. She not only took the time to look up the military discount - this store does not participate - but she also explained the rewards program. Then, the icing on the cake, she went into great detail about how I could stack coupons and rewards! Oh yeah! While I may not be super frequent Kohl's shopper, that was incentive enough to drive the 10 addt'l min to get there instead of my neighborhood Target. Thanks again, Kohl's, for being freaking awesome! (minus the nose picking cashier! lol)

There is only one entrance/exit, the other/second (normal) entry/exit door is closed. For this reason, common sense should say that employees that want to smoke should do so at the door that is NOT being used. In this day and time, why on earth would you smoke at/near the door where people MUST enter and exit. It's bad enough we have to walk through your smoke, but during an airborne pandemic?!?! I think not!! Safety first, you sanitize the carts and have hand sanitizer everywhere and social distancing signs and such...but you have employee blowing smoke and "droplets" directly where patrons have to enter?!?! I spoke with the manager "Lisa" who advised that the suggestion made sense and that she would speak with the employees about it.

It was barely used and was in excellent condition, but for some odd reason the cushion was sinking. I figured, if I got it reupholstered to the color of my choice and had the cushion replaced, it would be good as new. I took to my handy dandy Yelp app and did a search and Mill End popped up. I'm familiar with the shop, since a family member worked there years ago, but I had no clue they did this type of work. I gave them a call and was told to bring in a picture to evaluate the chair because they didn't want me to be without my chair for a long time. Well, I thought bringing in the chair itself would be easier, since I wasn't in a hurry for it. I was greeted by a very knowledgeable staff member who gushed about how beautiful the chair was. She did an evaluation of what would be needed to repair and reupholster it and then showed me the fabrics that were available in the color I selected. They have a large variety of fabrics on-sight in the store, but they do have options that can be ordered. The one I selected was on-sight. We agreed upon the estimated price, I filled out some paperwork and I was out the door. It was literally that quick and simple. Since they have a pretty extensive client list waiting for their projects before me, my estimated date for the chair to be completed was about 2 months or so. To my surprise, I was called about a month later informing me that my chair was ready. I arrived and was extremely pleased with my brand new chair. The workmanship was beautifully done and the cushion they replaced was perfectly placed. They did such a phenomenal job, my parents wanted their chair back. Lol! Not on my watch! Yes, Mill End is a bit pricey, but so worth it! They're truly professionals. I'm planning to get my dinning room chairs reupholstered in the near future, so I made sure to get an estimate while I was there. I'll absolutely be back in the near future.
