As a mature (at least in age) woman, I know that I can find age appropriate clothing here which is of the highest quality and stylish as well. The accessories are fabulous. The ladies who run the shop and work here are the best! They will help you in every way. A few times a year, they have fashion shows at the adjacent restaurant. The minute I walked through the door I was greeted by a friendly employee. She asked how she could help and I told her what my pricepoint was and that I was open to anything. She told me all the Christmas merchandise was 25% off. They have some really cute Christmas stuff (home decor, pajamas, etc.) I told her I wasn't picky. She asked me if I liked Volcano candles? I said YES. They had the three holiday candles to choose from. The green sparkle candle is alpine pine, the gold sparkly candle in pumpkin, and the red sparkle is the original Volcano scent. I love the original and red is my favorite color, so I was sold! With tax it came to $27. I have paid $40 for a Volcano candle at other local shops. This was a steal, and they had it gift wrapped and waiting for me at the checkout while I browsed around! Seriously wonderful customer service. I should note, this was not my first visit. My first visit I was exchanging a charm my friend got for my when my dog passed away. The staff was so encouraging and sympathetic that day. I just can't say enough about how great the service is! Stopped by again, Monday, at 5:20 pm and door locked and lights off. I arranged my schedule so I could make it in time before they closed. The least you can do is change your hours so people don't make trips to your store when it is supposed to be opened and then walk up and it is closed. I am all about thrift shops, especially one whose proceeds go to the Animal Care Society, a non-kill/non-profit organization that gives second chances to Louisville animals in need. I wish that I had known about this wonderful shop when we adopted a puppy last year. There are so many items for pets in the shop, and most look brand new. We could have obtained our pup's collar, harness, food/water bowls, leash, and cute sweater here for less than half of what we paid retail!! In addition to pet-related items, there are household items, home decor items, linens, toys, books, clothing, shoes, jewelry, and much more. I'm certain that there would be new treasures to see with each visit due to continuing donations. The shop is clean, odor-free and well-organized. The lady who checked us out was so very kind and told us about their program that allows for a $5 off coupon after a certain amount of purchases. This thrift shop is a hidden gem and I will be donating my items here from now on, so that I can support the animals, and I know that I will be a frequent flyer perusing the goods for that item that I didn't know I needed!

Magnolia & Fig provides a light and pleasant space to shop for clothing, accessories, and other knickknacks. We were greeted warmly by the attendant, and she gives us the option to browse or asked us if we were looking for something specific. Once we told her what my friend was looking for and her size, the attendant got right to work, pulling dresses for her to try from the racks. We were brought eight or 10 different dresses to try in a small but nicely decorated fitting area. The two employees worked together to bring us outfits to try, giving us space and time to try each one, but giving opinions and thoughts, when asked to. They were very kind patient and efficient. They were sensitive to the needs of my friend as related to her disability without talking down to her or making her feel out of place. It was a very positive experience and we found the perfect dress for my friend's event. In the store, you will find lots of ladies clothing options in addition to some jewelry, hats, shoes and even pretty things for the home. I think my friend paid about $150 for the gorgeous dress and the earrings that she purchased.
