I was excited to see various Duke Cannon soaps. My husband loves this brand and I grabbed one to save for Father's Day. Another area made for anyone is the kitchen area with decor and food items, including hot jellies and seasonings. For me I picked up a small jar of honey to go with cheese and crackers. I also snagged a glass marked "The Good Shit" which I'm keeping for my best friend. He'll appreciate the humor and having his special glass during happy hour. I experienced friendly service and watched others get the same. I shared my email and phone number for specials and promotions. After making my selection, I scouted around the shop totally ignored by the two shop ladies even though I made several attempts to engage them by offering compliments on the variety and selection of items. After purchasing over 100$ worth of items, they proceeded to wrap them talking to each other and acting as if I wasn't a customer standing across the desk. I was told that vendors change the merchandise in their areas often, meaning that there should be new items to see on future visits. The shop is contained in 2 small houses next to each other, on the corner of Evergreen Rd and Old Shelbyville Rd. I returned it but was provided with an excuse about why it would be damaged. I was also only given the open of a store credit. With a purchase of almost $100, I would have liked a credit card refund. When questioned, I was told, "That's just how we have always done it." The store employee followed up by asking if I needed a particular product that they sell. No apology at all.
