Each time that I return to this fair trade store I am again enamored with the artistry and vibrancy of the items. I mean, who doesn't need a taco-truck woolen birdhouse that is made from sustainably harvested wool? My most recent find was 4 beautiful batik printed placemats from India. I encourage everyone to support this shop and its artisans!

You can absolutely find something for everyone here! The best part is that you can read about the indigenous populations who make each individual piece, so you know exactly who your money is helping to support. Although the pricing is a bit more than your average gift store, I would much rather shop here because each item is truly one-of-a-kind. You can find planters, felt/basket birdhouses, children's clothes and toys, dishes, kitchen linens, shirts and dresses, scarves, jewelry, baskets, artwork, spices, coffees, and even more. Everywhere I turned, there was something intriguing to look at. I daresay I could complete all of my Christmas shopping here in just one trip. I will definitely be back to see what is new! The staff were not pushy but available for questions and to chat about the communities that the store represents.

We visited 4 local thrift shops today, and this was my favorite. Really good quality, prices, selection. Very welcoming, and fun to look around. It's really close to several interesting restaurants, so make an afternoon of it.

I love this store. It even smells good. The prices may be higher than other stores, but it is a fair trade store and the money goes to the artisans. They have food, clothing, accessories, toys, books, and home decor. I especially love all of the international Christmas decor. I also enjoy the Women's Bean Project items. It is on Frankfort Ave, so parking can be difficult, but I have never really had any trouble.

This local, fair trade craft store is always fun to browse. I seek them out for unique gifts, interesting jewelry and little arty pieces for my house. I always feel good that I'm supporting a great cause when I shop here as well. I love reading about the countries and artists I'm helping out. Every year in December they give back to local nonprofit organizations. Last night I participated in their shopping night for Peace Education. Peace Ed played an important role in my teenage years and I love having the chance to give back to them while shopping in a favorite store for unique Christmas gifts. It's a win for all.

I've been coming here for years and have always found the perfect gift. I love that products purchased here benefit the creator as well as the receiver- this is truly a conscious gift shop. There is a little something for everyone, from chocolate to Tibetan bells to hand-crafted baskets, jewelry, and clothes.

I like the idea of this place... helping people who are in need financially in several countries. They have cute jewelry, baskets galore, headbands, adorable notebooks, windchimes, stoneware, I could go on. My favorite thing on a recent trip was a bee house. I bought a cool birdhouse for a birthday gift while I was there. They have a nice variety!

The first time I went I didn't have a ton of time to shop; however, it just so happened to be a Sip & Shop day and you could put your name in for prizes. Well fast forward a little and I got a message that I won a $100 gift card. Yeah me! So I went back to make find some more cute things. The store is so cute. If you're a girls girl you'll love it I promise. The staff are so friendly & helpful, but, don't give off stalker vibes. I hate that!!! So thank you for giving me space. Much appreciated. It's organized perfectly. Magnolia & Fig carries some unique brands of clothing, accessories & home decor. I chose a gorgeous summer dress, two bracelets and a necklace for my daughter. They have an awesome website to shop online and offer private shopping appointments. They're open Wednesday-Sunday. Check out their sales rack as well. I saw some great deals on cute dresses. I will definitely be going back & checking out more clothes & jewelry.

I asked the worker, who I later found out was the owner!, a wardrobe question and for neighborhood restaurant recommendations and she was very helpful... even though I didn't buy anything.
