Peacock is one of if not THE best boutique in Louisville! I stopped in this past Derby to look for a dress and found that they had tons of options for dresses, as well as hats and fascinators. They carry the most beautiful Philip Treacy hats and fascinators that could easily pass as works of art. They also have some lower priced hats and fascinators that are equally as beautiful (and usually handmade by a local designer) They have a good variety of dresses as well. I noticed a lot of M Missoni, Jay Godfrey, and Rag and Bone. Which are super hard to come by here in Louisville. Since derby was freezing this year, they also had a good amount of jacket and cooler weather options which was extremely helpful!!! Love this boutique! read more

I have been in search of a good-quality pair of jeans for a while now. I stumbled upon Peacock Boutique during a visit to Louisville. This boutique is in a fantastic location! The shops and cafés on Frankfort Avenue are the cutest places to explore on a sunny day. Peacock had a great selection of Rag and Bone jeans (as well as other brands). Coming in from out of town, I happened to be driving on this strip to browse a bit... And i must say, these people are absolutely rotten. I walked in dressed in sweats, looking very low maintenance because I was driving for 6+ hours, and I guess that convinced them to not acknowledge me because somewhere in there head, they believed i couldn't afford anything here. I could immediately sense a radiating snootiness from the front counter; she didn't even bother to greet me. I actually said "hi" to another associate who was helping someone else to make her feel bad for not doing her job. On my way out I also dismissed myself by saying, "You have a good one," and all she responded with was a quick glare, and back down again on to her laptop... Then she looked up once again with an eversofaux smile and back down on her laptop without wording a peep. Absurd. The two stars are are for the cleanliness, decor, and higher end brands that you don't find as much else where (Rachael Roy, Missoni, etc). read more

Not only do they have a keen eye for fashion but they also really know how to style each individual shopper. They are sweet and fun! The store itself is clean, crisp, and easy to maneuver. I give this store one star because I can not give it zero stars! I went in to this store looking for a nice outfit for my husbands surprise birthday. It looked nice from the outside and yes it was nice inside as well. But I felt like Julia Roberts in the movie Pretty Women when she tried to shop on rodeo drive! The staff looked at me like I was some sort of deadbeat who did not deserve or could not afford their clothes, well I can I just dress comfortably when shopping! Don't judge a person by the way they dress. I had on a pair of nice jeans and a tshirt guess that was not good enough for them.
