This location used to be our regular Target and now we live closer to Middletown or love having free delivery with our Red Card. Tonight the parking lot was busy as ever with the holidays around the corner. This parking lot is nuts - be careful coming in and leaving. The biggest thing I noticed was the bright lights of Ulta beauty toward the front of the store. We spent most of our trip in the toy aisles this visit. We found a gift amongst the options. Pro tip: make sure you scan the items with your Target app. Anything on sale online will show and you can request the discount at the counter. Several checkout lanes were open including the self checkout. We got out quickly and our clerk was super friendly. read more

Location is a bit on the smaller side compared to a few other local target locations but it is very sleek and modern on the inside. They have plenty of stock on popular items. Target is Target is Target. They're pretty much reliable and consistent everywhere you go. This particular location recently got the CVS add-on, which brought a much better selection of Health and Beauty Aids on board. Their grocery section is surprisingly good, but feels a bit on the small side compared to other retail locations that have adopted grocery offerings. Two of the things that stand out for me at this location: 1) The newly renovated Starbucks. I like that the recent renovation that took out the old, staid Target snack bar to make it more of a grab-and-go kind of situation with a few tables, and the Starbucks is the star of that show. #AboutFreakingTime B) The service desk isn't as chaotic as some other Target service desks. I like the fact that there are individual kiosks instead of a long-ass counter. The only downside is that some people Do. Not. Get. how it works. It's basically an open-queue situation where you stand there until a kiosk opens up. This is not difficult, but every time I'm there some clueless individual likes to go up and just *bam* plant themselves as the next in line. And then. And THEN if you try to politely (at least outwardly) call them out on it they get bent out of shape. I guess they think they don't need to wait in line like the other 36 people already waiting. /end rant Shopping at this location is pretty easy and, for the most part, things are the same as in most other locations. If I'm looking for fabricated half-inch pipe I know where to look because I know where the fabricated half-inch pipe is located in a different store. (Will someone PLEASE get that movie reference?) The staff is usually attentive and helpful here. I'm the most impressed when I visit electronics. I was recently looking for a new sound bar and had a few questions about options on some of the models. I spoke to two different team members and they were both very knowledgeable and helpful. It's pretty awesome that this is the closest Target to our house so we don't need to travel to a location farther away for a better shopping experience. read more

This store was close to where we were and my wife needed a particular item that she has had trouble finding. She found they had it online and when she went in it was there. THROUGH IT ALL, YOU'VE BEEN THE BEST!! We're in our 70s and a little worn out. Lol. We still love the choice of curbside with our shopping. I have to admit, we never did much grocery shopping at Target until COVID hit. But gosh, have they come through for us. Nowhere can I find a store with NO MINIMUM PURCHASE but Target. You have no idea how much that helps. We can curbside pick up and get it in the house with ease as we don't have that $35 load. We reserve the heavy stuff for minimum purchase delivery store. Target has 95% of the product at hand. It can be baking potatoes or makeup...they have it all. And sooo friendly, fair prices, no elevated up charge. Target has managed to keep the staff available and quick to respond for your curbside pickup. No long waits. No question that ur order is correct. I really enjoy trips to this location. The store is clean and bright with an expansive selection of merchandise. Normally, there are associates readily available and the merchandise is neat and organized into well-defined areas. One can always find some items on clearance in the various sections of the store. This is my go to Target, (being that it's also the closest). I love coming here. Great selection of clothing, and food items. Sundays are when I usually do my Target run. I'll start with a coffee from Starbucks then roam around the ladies clothing. I also check out what's on clearance! I've found some great buys in the clearance section. It's usually hit or miss but the more often you go, the more opportunities you have to find things. Last time I was there I was able to find a coffee mug for a dollar to add to a Christmas gift! read more

There are certain times a Target run is in order and Target rarely disappoints. The stores are clean and their restrooms are usually well maintained. Target carries a nice selection of ladies swimsuits and casual, fun clothes. The health & beauty and household cleaner sections have nice sales and a full selection of products. They have a great grocery section and I've never found icky produce here, it's not where I grocery shop but if I'm shopping at Target at five and have to dress like the Chiquita Banana lady at six I need to things readily on hand 3. Their clearance selection is primo 4. Have a Moleskine related emergency? They've got you covered 5. They have a Starbucks Other Bits: 1. Not the easiest Target to get in and out of, I have had to call twice for an extraction from the stationery department and it took time for the rescue squad to stop me from buying all the pens 2. This is a review of my experience using Shipt with Target last week. Target has offered a free month of Shipt, a home delivery service, for a few weeks prior to the busy holiday shopping season. Typically I prefer to go into a store to peruse the goods but a couple of days prior to Thanksgiving I wasn't feeling so hot, so I pulled the trigger and signed up to get some last-minute things I needed via Shipt. On the first try with the app, I found it difficult to find things and I gave up. The example was butter. I searched for butter and it gave me 20-odd results for peanut butter. I just needed a pound of salted butter sticks. So, there is a learning curve to using the app. The next day I still felt like hot garbage so I was determined to get the items on my list delivered to me at home. Again, I had a little trouble finding simple things like soup. What I did like was that the app does tell you what the store you're shopping from doesn't have, so you can move on rather quickly. I ordered 15 items, mostly as a test to see if I would get everything on my list. I didn't get too crazy, so it was things like the aforementioned butter, turkey gravy, napkins, Tums (lol), soup and a few frozen appetizer items. The other thing I liked is that you can choose a delivery time and as soon as you put in the order, you receive a confirmation with the option to add anything you may have forgotten. Then the Shipt shopper assigned to you sends a text as well, asking if you need anything else. Just before they're set to leave, they let you know they're on the way. My order arrived just two minutes before the cut-off time, which was fine since it was rush hour and raining. I got everything I ordered delivered to my door, with no substitutions. The shopper will also check with you if they can't get the exact item and substitute it or remove it from the list. I love the convenience and I will definitely use the service again. read more

I have been coming to this Target for as long as I can remember, and it is consistently one of the better places to shops in the area. Of the big box retailers, Target is the cleanest with the nicest selection. We even do a lot of grocery shopping here. While it doesn't have the biggest selection compared to other Target locations in the city, you can't beat this location. There is plenty of parking and very rarely do you have to park far away from the store. The store itself is very big, with all the departments you would expect. There's also a Starbucks inside of you need a caffeine fix while shopping. I've started using a Target REDCard debit card, which is super nice. It gives you an automatic 5% off each time you shop here, with no fees attached to it. There's also the Cartwheel app, which I know people use to save money, but I personally have not used it. I like this compared to other stores' systems - rather than building up reward points or whatever, I know I'm getting savings each time. Checkout lines are usually pretty short here, but during holidays gets very backed up. So do your holiday shopping early! Days after holidays though, there are usually a lot of deals to be found. Overall, this is a great choice for shopping in the area! read more

You'd think one Target is the same as any other Target. And for the most part, you'd be right. For some reason though, this one just doesn't do it for me. I'm not sure why. OK...Target is Target, let me tell you why I gave it 4 stars...One, they carry the "Baby Food" my child is on and at the best price I can find in town (PLUM Organics). 2ndly, they support my community, you might ask WHAT? I have a daughter with DOWN SYNDROME and they include our Kiddos in their advertising!!! No Other Retailer I know of includes our kiddos in there Ad's! Big Props To Them For That!!! Now I still have some of the same complaints as most people, not enough cashiers open to check everyone out! With that being said, my Target does make an attempt to get more open if needed, but not always the quickest. All in All I think they are going in the correct direction! read more

On 05/27/2020 my mother and wife had one of the worst experiences that they have ever had in a Target. They went to purchase some groceries and they came up to the cash register to place all the items on the conveyor belt and pay. After my mother put her card in the pin pad, the cashier told her she was good to go with the transaction and they took their items from the counter were the bags were and went to the car. When they were putting their items in the car, a target employee came outside and ask my wife to come back inside for a minute. When she went back inside, they told her only $25 was processed and she had to pay the remaining balance of the transaction. My wife told her no problem and she went ahead and put my mother's card in the pin pad and processed the card again as credit like they did the 1st time around. The lady told her she has to use it as debit so my wife let them know that it is my mother's card and said she can go and get her and she offered to leave her phone with them as collateral so they won't think they would drive off and steal the items. The manager told my wife no problem and my wife went to go and get my mother. Not even a minute later, my mother comes back outside telling my wife that they told her she has to bring all the items and that they couldn't pay for the rest of the balance with cash nor card. My wife goes back inside the store and ask the manager why they can't use either of those payment methods and they told her she can't buy any of the items they want it. When my wife asked her well what about the $25 that was processed in the beginning, the manager told her that they can't refund the $25. My mother goes to her account and see that target already charged her for the $25 and shows the manager the charges and that she had the money on the account to pay for the remaining that was owed. The manager told her she has to call the bank to dispute the transaction. That's not how customers should be treated and being told there is no other solution but to turn back all the items they came to your location to purchase and dispute a transaction that was initially told that it was processed successfully! Absolutely unacceptable read more

It's a Target. I'm always a fan. Target is THE best of the discount department stores in my opinion. What's makes this location stand out from other locations? Nothing really. What makes it worse? It's not the easiest parking lot to get in and out of. I always enjoy getting in and out of this location from behind the store next to The Home Depot. read more

I am so upset I have been a long time customer of this location. Tonight I was racially profiled there were approximately four people checking out in the self check and one of the monitors in the front I guess she was a cashier who was a monitor or watching people she came and stood behind me and watched me check out all my stuff I was so humiliated everybody else was checking out and she wasn't watching them and she had a birds eye on me standing directly behind me as I if as I was a common thief. I called the store manager and spoke to Joey. I don't know what's going to happen or what I want to be done but my feelings are hurt. I was humiliated, she stood behind me the whole time while I was scanning my items. and didn't watch anybody else she was just watching me and prior to that people were checking out and she stood up front and just was watching but she came directly behind me she should've told me if it was just because she was gonna check for tags or whatever she should've told me you'll stand behind somebody in a store like that. I don't know if this was a isolated issue or there was something about me that put her on alert and I don't know but at a shop there all the time never had this problem so I don't know if this is a isolated incident and she was new and I don't know but my feelings were hurt I was shaking walking to my car and I could not talk to a manager because I was so upset I didn't wanna start cussing and acting the fool anything like that with my emotions so I'm waiting to calm down and I called the store and I told him what happened to me. read more

Very disappointed in their promise to price match! Went to the @Jeffersontown Target store last night & the manager "Kelley" was very rude! Had me in line for over 45 minutes, making me jump through RIDICULOUS hoops regarding "price matching"! I showed her my screen shots-but that was "up to her standards"--as if SHE owns @TARGET! She was as rude as to tell 2 other employees-if "she" makes a report to compliance, don't worry, I'll take the heat for this! Really unfortunate -that she is such a sad-unskilled "Manager"; rather her being so focused on me & my "price matching---didnt dawn on her---she only has 2 cash registers open--1 she has tied up with me & that caused the line to be backed up to children's. This star is for a cashier by the name of Natasha. It never fails that every time I come here she has an attitude. I'm not sure if she hates her job or just the color of my skin but she was really rude to not just me but my kids. You could tell she didn't want us in her lane even though she was "smiling". My kids were very polite and sweet to her and she was just rude. I was really close to saying something to her but I didn't want to look like the "angry black woman". I will go back to this target but will make sure to steer clear of her. read more

The store selection is not as large as other Target stores, but my main complaint is the lack of alternative dietary food products. They very few non-dairy products, like non-dairy cheeses. Also, some of their cashiers can be stand-offish (not talking to you and leaving your finished bag on the conveyor belt) and not listen to requests. I like to bring my own bags and once a cashier insisted on still wrapping my Itunes gift card in a plastic bag before putting it in my reusable bag. ??? read more

Target also has this wild new concept that (M, Wm) has not grasped, have actual cashiers in actual check out lines so people can actually buy things with money from your store. Don't waste your time on going to this location. Worst cashiers and false advertisement . It's Halloween and the signs say "30 percent off all Halloween decor" we pick out some items and bring them to the register. The cashier is depressing as heck with no smile and he worst attitude in the nation. They ring up the original price so we ask her to go ask manager or someone else to confirm and they said it's only on their cartwheel app. Your signs don't say it. Honor your word.
