I also wanted it to be kind of Boho, but didn't want to take away too much from the original dress. Betsy was the perfect person for the job! Plus, when some stitching came undone after bridals and before the wedding, she happily had us bring it by to fix at no extra charge (even though them coming undone was my fault). Not to mention being in her studio feels homey and comfortable, which is important when someone is poking and prodding you to alter a dress! I loved going to visit her and chat with her. I cannot say enough good things about Betsy. Everyone should go to her.

Overall cute store, a little pricey, but great quality. I'm giving it four stars because the girls in the store didn't say a single word to my sister and I. Keep in mind we're both Latino, but when other white girls walked in they were greeted. I usually don't think about the race issue a ton, but I definitely felt ignored. I will be back because some clothes are worth spending money on, but I'll have to do it with anticipation of what items I'll be looking for, that way I don't feel out of place or ignored by the girls in the store.

My goal today was to visit their website to look for a specific dress. Then, I read this review and want you to know there is another side. My first visit to Fashion Corner was uneventful and I was not impressed. I bought nothing. Then, a friend of mine had on some leggings that were soooo cute in black and white . i asked where she got them and she said FASHION CORNER...So, I ventured forth and gave them a 2nd chance. This time, I inspected the store and found many different kinds of things. Some were too youthful and of a fashion sense that did not impress someone of my mature age. But, I was willing to really dig in and "LOOK".. to my surprise...and with my experience, I found several items that did fit in with my wardrobe. And, to my surprise, I discovered a MAXI dress that was just too perfect. I wore it tonight and I an extremely impressed. It fits perfectly. I want another. When you shop at a discount store, you must know that some items will be cheaper in quality than other, but then again....there will always be something that is made well and surprises you. It's your fault if you buy cheap jewelry. Know what's quality and what isn't... I personally wouldn't buy shoes there or jewelry there. But, within those walls are a few very nice items. Be a smart shopper and as always...buyer beware. This buyer loves her new dress and her smart leggings... Take some time...and shop wisely. B

But about 90 days later, one of the couches burst a hole out of the bottom and all the stuffing is shooting out. We don't have pets, and our kids aren't allowed to play on these couches. They've seen nothing but normal use. The fabric just failed and unfortunately Downeast was not willing to help after only having them for about 3 months. I didn't even request a refund or return. I just asked that they assist in getting it professionally repaired. They were very nice in how they communicated, but made it clear they would not offer anything to help. I wouldn't recommend anyone purchase furniture from here. The styles are great, and the employees are nice, but I don't feel you can trust the quality or the company to stand behind their products.
