Five Below is a fun, budget-friendly spot for trendy snacks, decor, and cheap tech. J

The employees can do a better job with customer service. No one helps during shopping but stares at you like a hawk when checking out.

Great store with a lot of useful everyday stuff that people use at very reasonable prices.

This is a good place to shop during the holidays. The key is to shop early!…read moreYesterday, I went there for some socks that they advertised on their website, the app, an email and the flyer that they send via USPS! It was pouring raining outside so I knew I could take my time while I was there! Because, I'm here from Atlanta I'm not that familiar with this location! When I walked in I asked an associate where were the socks. She sent me in the wrong direction, so I asked another and she told me where they were. I found the socks and was looking for the ones that was in their ads. They wasn't their nor was there a sign showing that they might have been there! I must have spent pretty close to 20 minutes looking for these socks. They were not there! At this point i'm thinking "bait n switch!" This was not the 1st time I've shopped this location based on something that was listed in their ads and ran into the same results! I made my way to what is left of their toy section! That's when I notice this tall black guy following me! I knew he was following me because, I made my wat to the book section and he was there too three isles over just standing there! I purposely took my time looking for books for a 2 yrs old. And sure enough he was still there watching me. Finally, the rain eased up and I took my items to the checkout and he was there too! He made a purchase and I remember thinking, maybe he was a customer, until instead of going out the door, he walked to the back of the store. I get it, shoplifting is a issues especially in today economy, but everybody is not a shoplifting! And being followed around a store that practice "bait n switch" really made me feel some kind of way! I'm angry, but I get it! I'm not just a customer, I 'm a member and I have the app! #ollies #baitnswtich

A bit junky, but that's ok... it's a discount store, right? Good values overall, and super ones…read moreoccasionally. I especially like the 15-25% off days I just missed one :( That's when I stock up on my favorite coffee brand! They have quite a good selection. I am definitely a "name brand" person... so that is a bit of a drawback; but on some things, the brand doesn't matter so much. Check out is my main complaint... they have changed the routing to the check out counters; so you are stuck in line without anything fun/interesting to top off your cart. It would be nice to be able to build up points to use at later dates, in addition to their planned discount days.... as a partially handicapped person, it is sometimes difficult to navigate when the store is so crowded. Overall, a good store who doesn't try to be more than they are! js

Tucked between Goodwill and TJ Maxx Homegoods is Ross. I shop here for good deals on home decor and…read morethings around the house. Speaking only for the home department, things are halfway organized, but some areas are in no particular order. Rummage through until you find what you're looking for. You can find good deals on pillows, sheets, etc.. I would recommend coming here first if you're looking for basic home good materials. If you get lucky and find what you're looking for, it will be less than Bed Bath and Beyond or Pier One. All those things being said, I wanted to use the restroom, but was disgusted before I even made it to the toilets. I think I'll write corporate because the walls were DISGUSTING. I can't figure out how walls get this dirty, but employees should not be subjected to this filth on a daily basis. Lastly, there seemed to be a shortage of shopping carts and their carts have these poles on them. Not sure what the reason is, but if you know, feel free to comment.

Two cashiers. Twenty-four people in line. That's all you need to know about this Ross…read more If I hadn't needed to return an item, I would have turned around and left. Waiting in that line was ridiculous. I've never seen a retail store in such complete chaos. Merchandise was piled everywhere, racks were a mess, and the entire store looked like it had been picked over for days without anyone bothering to straighten it up. You really need to see the photos to appreciate how bad it was. The only reason this visit wasn't a complete disaster was Nya (hence the one star...for Nya). She is one of the most efficient cashiers I've ever seen. While the other register crawled along, Nya was friendly, professional, and moving customers through at an impressive pace. She easily checked out several times more customers while still providing excellent service. What made the situation even more frustrating was watching the manager/supervisor stand nearby talking with employees instead of opening another register to help the two dozen customers waiting in line. Leadership isn't standing around while your customers become increasingly frustrated. This store desperately needs better management, better organization, and enough staff to handle the volume of customers. It will take a genuine emergency before I ever step foot in this Ross again.
