One of the big draws here is the Sea-Life Aquarium that is in one corner of the property. Other than Mall of America, we couldn't recall another facility that had an attraction like that. Considering the larger stand-alone type malls, Charlotte has a few ... notably South Park, the Charlotte Premium Outlet, Northlake, and this Concord Mills, among others. Concord Mills has to compete for customers (especially with the brick and mortar storefronts losing out so much to Amazon) and they do a pretty nice job ... once again the aquarium helps. They close relatively early ... we think 8 pm, but that is a sign of the times to keep everything safe. Food court was pretty nice also, and had a very nice carousel for the younger crowd. We'd return here for the stores, but probably not for the aquarium, since that is more of a once a year thing. Three stars for the mall stores, rounded up to four stars with the attractions added in.

Old Navy always has sweet deals and I was able to pick up a few items at 50% off. I wasn't sure about one of the signs so I asked an associate and she was helpful with helping me understand which items the sale belonged to. The clothes were all nicely folded and there were many associates throughout the store on the floor that could assist people so I liked that alot. Oh and somehow I had $4 coupon I was able to redeem once I plugged in my number so that was great!

I love their leggings - decent price & hold up for a good while. While looking at leggings, a rack with $15 dresses caught my eye, so I found myself browsing through it. The store is huge & has lots of product. I love that everything is always nice & neat when I am here. Only issue is sizing. In some of their tops, you may wear one size & in another, a size up or down. An associate explained to me that it's could be because where the items come from - as different countries produce their clothing. Good to know! Service is great & pricing, even better!

On my recent visit to Toy Mania and World Market, it looks like some of the tennents are switching out or in transition. There also looked to be a season Christmas store that was getting ready to open. Between the stores are outdoor spaces... something that Panera (and a patio) takes advantage of. The Harris Teeter and other shops at the other end of the shopping center round out the stores and why the parking lot is super busy all the time.

It was pouring raining outside so I knew I could take my time while I was there! Because, I'm here from Atlanta I'm not that familiar with this location! When I walked in I asked an associate where were the socks. She sent me in the wrong direction, so I asked another and she told me where they were. I found the socks and was looking for the ones that was in their ads. They wasn't their nor was there a sign showing that they might have been there! I must have spent pretty close to 20 minutes looking for these socks. They were not there! At this point i'm thinking "bait n switch!" This was not the 1st time I've shopped this location based on something that was listed in their ads and ran into the same results! I made my way to what is left of their toy section! That's when I notice this tall black guy following me! I knew he was following me because, I made my wat to the book section and he was there too three isles over just standing there! I purposely took my time looking for books for a 2 yrs old. And sure enough he was still there watching me. Finally, the rain eased up and I took my items to the checkout and he was there too! He made a purchase and I remember thinking, maybe he was a customer, until instead of going out the door, he walked to the back of the store. I get it, shoplifting is a issues especially in today economy, but everybody is not a shoplifting! And being followed around a store that practice "bait n switch" really made me feel some kind of way! I'm angry, but I get it! It would be nice to be able to build up points to use at later dates, in addition to their planned discount days.... as a partially handicapped person, it is sometimes difficult to navigate when the store is so crowded. They were LITERALLY ON MY HEELS! To the point that I actually addressed them and said, "I am not a thief. There is ABSOLUTELY no reason to follow me around the store. They turned red and then wanted to ask if I needed help. ARE YOU SERIOUS?! They didn't have the Rouge 39, but Chris was very helpful and friendly at checkout. I spent almost $300 on a purse, perfume and wristlet. Chris apologized for the experience and said they don't profile. However, I beg to differ. I'm giving two stars for Chris and her customer service. Otherwise, it would have been zero stars if I could.

The tables are neat, every bra and panty are in a nice row, and the signage is well placed. You will know if the item you are looking for is on sale and for how much. On a previous visit, one of the employees fitted me for a bra. I initially refused as I knew my bra size...36C. After trying on a few bras, we came to the conclusion that I was actually a 36D. Wow!! Today, I didn't purchase anything as what I was looking for was not on sale as low as I needed it to be. But I didn't actually like the material either so I walked out with nothing. They did have some Champion items that were tempting to buy but I was able to pass it up.I would definitely come back again.
