I'll preface this by saying that I do most of my grocery shopping at Jungle Jim's, with frequent…read moretrips to Meijer as well when I need things that aren't food. In both cases, the stores are large and shopping takes time--I know I'm committing an hour, but I'll walk out with everything I need. Grocery Outlet is not that. The store is smaller, and so is the selection--but it isn't boring. There are times when that is exactly the shopping experience I'm in the mood for. In and out, but with the chance to discover some things I wasn't looking for and save some money along the way. I've found good deals here on protein chips, dried fruit, pasta, cheese, milk, salad dressings and sometimes meat. The main issue with Grocery Outlet is you probably can't shop your full list here. You'll probably get through most of it, especially if you aren't particular about brands, but there are specifics you just won't find. For example, there are 1 or 2 brands of all-purpose flour, but no bread flour. As long as you know that going in, it's a fine shopping experience. Bonus points for how kind and friendly the employees are.

They carry some products not found in other stores too! Weekly specials, friendly staff! Locally owned, Much smaller than your large supermarket chains, so you will be quick in/quick out! I highly recommend this store.

This brand new Big Lots is a welcome addition to the Eastgate area. It has taken over the old Toys…read moreR Us space and is just as big. They did a nice job remodeling it and modernizing it. I have to say this is the biggest and nicest location I have visited. Everything is clean, well organized, and well stocked. I must note, I visited about a week before Christmas so the organization and fully stocked is not normally seen at places this time of year!!! If you aren't familiar with Big Lots it is toted as a discount store. There are brand name things found here, as well as their own branded items. As with anywhere, do your research as somethings here are a great deal, and others can be found cheaper elsewhere. What I consistently find I buy at Big Lots is things under their own brand. These items include such things as everyday home decor, and seasonal decor (Christmas, Valentines, St Pats, Easter, outdoor etc). Somethings you might find here include furniture (which they have now upgraded and have some higher end names such as Broyhill), workout gear, everyday home decor, rugs, bed and bath linens, pet toys/beds, household cleaning, non perishable food, personal care, seasonal decor for holidays as well as a huge outdoor furniture and decor section, and even a small hardware section. If you sign up for their free rewards club you'll receive periodic coupons (not an obnoxious number of emails). Every employee I came across here greeted me and I asked if I needed help. I hope, since this is a new store, this level of customer service and organization stays this way!

We've asked and wanted to get few things for our new place. Instead, nothing is for sale or anything on the floor that worth selling to them. So this is worse experience for us. And won't be coming back to this location again.

They have everything you can think of. Garden, home decor, clothes, electronics, small appliances, toiletries, food, rugs, a very nice book selection, and more. I was like a kid in a candy store. I couldn't believe the pricing on some of the stuff. They are name brands at discounted prices. We mainly go there to get bird suet for only $1.29. The store is organized however there are some sections that are cluttered. So it's kinda like Aldi find, once the items are gone, that's it. We left out only spending $29.00. Most items we bought were under $3.00. I even scored a hard back air frying recipe book. They even have a rewards program which you can join for free. I'm a fan!! Definitely worth checking out.

I've been a fan for a few years, and recently I turned my lady on to the place, who instantly became like a kid in a candy store. She loves it now. This store is ok. It's like most Burlingtons. It's a little more stocked than the Field's Ertel…read morestore (that always looks like it's going out of business). Like Ross, and other discount stores of the same ilk, it's mostly lower quality clothing. But you can find some gems from time to time. Yesterday I found a Calvin Klein dress, (the only one of the style and pattern in the store and it was my size!) that I had tried on in Macy's and loved it. I decided to pass on it then because I just couldn't justify the $134 for a dress that wasn't for a special occasion. Well, I found it here for $29.99! I couldn't believe my luck or the price!

From my experiences most Burlington's are older, kinda run down..just kind of a mess overall. But this one is brand spankin new, extremely clean, well organized, fully stocked..it is a pretty impressive store all together. Like other Burlington's, this location is well stocked in discounted merchandise ranging from designer clothing to small appliances and house decor. If you have the time to sort through everything you can walk out of here with some amazing deals. I'm also happy that Burlington swooped in took up this recently vacated location because they're really doing so much to try to build up this area, and empty storefronts look awful. Now if only someone would do something with the former HH Gregg next door this area will be totally and completely back on track.

It's started off bad when we tried to enter from the mall, where we had been looking around. We had to leave the building, walk around to the door outside and then go back the way we came in order to get back to our car. It looks completely closed from inside the mall. If you didn't know better you'd think that this was another shuttered store in this declining mall. The lighting is so low that it almost looks closed when you walk in. It's way too low! When looking for clothing who wants lighting as low as a dark bar? And it's like that in the dressing room too. The air conditioning was nearly non existent. I was sweating within a few minutes. Everyone around us was complaining about the temperature of the store. It was unbearable! Because of the temperature in the store and the very low lighting I had to leave. My daughter and I just couldn't take it anymore. And it was only in the low 70s outside. It's as if they don't want shoppers in there. Most of the racks are very close together. Some so close that you cannot navigate them at all. I'm not a large person and yet I couldn't look at some of the racks of blouses and sweaters. The racks were just so close together! I can't imagine if someone heavier or with a cane wanted to look at the clothing here. The dressing room is another issue. It smells pretty bad. Like dirty people. It needs a good disinfecting. The stools need replaced because they are a big reason the dressing rooms smell. It's a pretty foul odor. And the temperature in there?! So incredibly hot! People were getting frustrated in there. Complaining about the temperature. Mix the heat with the smell and I was feeling nauseous. The first time I came here I found a dress that I really like and had been looking for that style. But the experience was bad enough I didn't want to return. Since my daughter and I were looking for dresses for a couple of special occasions we have coming up - we decided to give them another shot. This last visit will be the last visit. The very low lighting, the unbearable temperature, the racks pushed too close together while be jammed tightly with too much inventory per rack, and smelly dressing rooms make it impossible to comfortably shop here. So... we didn't buy anything. I just don't think this store wants customers in there. Too bad! Because my daughter and I like clothing shopping - especially if we can get a good brand for a good price. Oh well.
