We went to the one off 71 to return/exchange an item bought just the day before.Return policy is without a receipt which we couldnt find,they will let us do an exchange.Associate lady in customer service refused to let us do that.Mind you we are standing right next to the big Walmart blue billboard stating their return policy. She advised us that during this covid pandemic Walmart WILL NOT accept anything back without a receipt! My husband got infuriated&stormed out of the store after a few words to the associate.At least he had the mind to call management from our vehicle&was ready to let them have also... I only came to the 5th Street Target because it was the only place that had what I needed,a simple pen for black label for homemade gifts. I came against my better judgment, and honestly, I wish I hadn't. First off, the parking is a mess. You have to park in the garage and get validation to avoid paying $7. There's no handicap parking right in front of the elevator entrance either, which makes things way harder than it should be. I could have used street parking but didn't feel like being hassled by the men that wait in front of the store. Once I got inside, I started noticing a man, Hispanic, curly hair, maroon shirt, no name badge walking past me multiple times in different sections. First in the makeup aisle, then again when I moved to another area, and again a third time. It really felt like he was watching me, not shopping. He made me super uncomfortable. I was using the Target app to scan items and make sure I was getting the right prices. Just trying to get in and out quickly because, truth be told, I've been avoiding Target for a while now. When I checked out, one of my items rang up higher than what the app said. I went to Guest Services, showed the price on my phone, and was told I must've grabbed the wrong thing. I hadn't, I scanned it myself before adding it to my cart. All this over a few markers. I'm sticking with my boycott. I came here trying to support my own project and left feeling watched, dismissed, and frustrated.

Unfortunately, when I found the dresses, they were either for women much younger than I or matronly. So, my shopping excursion was a bust. I find it worth noting that it was very odd that no cars were parked outside of the store when I arrived. All the cars were next door. I thought they were closed. I'll certainly try shopping at Macy's in the future should I need something I realize they sell; they simply didn't meet my needs on this visit.

Easy for him to say when it's not his money that's being lost. There was an employee, however, by the name of Kat who went out of their way to try and help in a patient and caring manner.
