Five Below rocks!!!! It's great to see they finally opened up locations here in California. When I lived on the east coast/ Midwest I always went to Five below. Everything priced $1-$5. The stuff is good quality. I usually purchase aux cords and fitness items. All pretty neat to have. The auxiliary cords from here last a long time as long as you don't beat it up. It seems to last longer than any cord I've owned in the past. I highly recommend this checking this place out. They have heaps of items. You can also find random T shirts. Five Below is a very similar to Dollar Tree, but it's a lot more high-end, and their merchandise tends to be higher quality. Everything they sell runs between one and five dollars, so if you buy a number of items you can drop some serious $$$ despite the low prices. Bottom line: I like this store a whole lot more than Dollar Tree, and when I'm looking for knickknacks and inexpensive doo-dads, this will be my go-to place going forward. read more

Five Below is a discount chain store. This particular one is located in the Aliso Town Center. The store is filled with a ton of different items such as electronics, toys, candy, memorabilia, apparel, and more. They have cool Disney and Sports team items here at prices you can't find anywhere. While many of their items are unbelievably cheap, there are also multi pole items that are very expensive for what it is. You definitely have to pick and choose what you want here. The customer service is okay. The workers are very friendly, however, there isn't much help around the store itself. The workers don't even know the prices of the items when you ask, they have to scan it. The store is fair in size and it's also very cleanly organized. This makes it easy to find items. Overall, it's still a really great store. I come here quite often. You should definitely give it a shot and see if you find something you like. read more

It is a discount store. It is located next to the Staples. Everything here is $1-5. There are a lot of neat things such as Tsum Tsum merchandise and Lego Dimensions toys. There are $2 stickers, $5 headphones, phone cases, older Skylanders, and other such things one could Although everything is $1-5, some of the items are priced slightly higher than other places, such as Pocky costing slightly more than at 99 Ranch. But if one wants to go there for anything unique to this location then it's worth it. The staff was very nice to us and the cashier that helped us was social with my friend. There is one checkout line by the front and the cashiers will call one over when they are open. It went quickly. My friend looked oversatisfied with the selection of the merchandise and the friendliness of the employee so I will just rate it 5. read more

The only issue I had was that it was my first time here and the prices are extremely confusing. The stuff in their "clearance" section have a sticker on it that is the same as the original price so I'm asking myself how does that make sense. Turns out it's 50% off of what's on the yellow sticker. But there was yellow stickers on many items. It was very inconvenient not knowing how much things cost before going to the cashier. read more

Called in because I was looking for an ottoman cover because my Five Below, Costa Mesa branch ran out and Assoc 525137 helped me out. I forgot her name. I wish I was good with names. She was so kind when I asked her if she could hold the item for me until the next day when I drove in the area and she said she could. One of my friends asked me if this was a new Asian bakery. Haha, but no, Five Below is a discount store chain new to Southern CA that carries stuff all five dollars and below. I just happened to get to this store on the Friday of their grand opening weekend at this Aliso View shopping center location. I had heard about it and thought it had opened already. I arrived at 9:30 a.m. but the store didn't open until 10:00. Because of the grand opening, there was a line outside. I was told the first 100 people got a mystery scratch off card towards a dollar to 100 dollar discount. I got $3 off which I felt grateful about as most of the people around me got a dollar off. When we finally got in at 10, I was pretty overwhelmed. There was stuff everywhere. Tech stuff like charger cables, headphones, school supplies and office supplies, sporting goods stuff, five dollar T-shirts, make-up, kitchen items, party supplies, sundries, toys, snack foods like chips and beef jerky and candy, OMG, the crazy display upon display of candy. If I am going to be honest, this section plus the snack foods and the make-up area excited me the most. I showed incredible restraint in the candy section. There were sections with bags for 20 small pieces of candy for $1, 4 pieces for $1, $1 movie theater size boxes of candy, etc. I especially liked the gummy candy section that was 5 for $5. All I could think of is when I brought my 12-year-old niece here, she was going to go nutso over this area and the make-up section. The $5 Tees seemed like a good deal here, too, but I will check these out further when I come back. As far as the other stuff I saw, I thought some of the prices were just ok. I purchased nail polish that was priced at 3 for $5 and this was basically you get what you pay for quality here. I bought some various cool bandaids and office supply stuff and a lot of candy and snacks for home consumption and gifts. My fiance was pretty excited about the candy and snacks, I brought home, so I know it won't be long before we are back here soon. Five Below is a fun store to look around in. Staff members were really enthusiastic and friendly and helpful. It was really jam packed with people on the grand opening day I was there, so I made a quick pass through the store and figured I could come back later when I would feel less claustrophobic. read more

Super cute stuff all sugary sweet, colorful and fun that I can live without. A money pit for your kid's allowance. And another way to get cavities. Lots of chalk, crayons, markers, pencils and art supplies plus off brand make-up and nail polish. The summer specific items could be useful for a season. A ton of weird jelly bellies... beer flavor? This is about a 3.5 star affair... The store has more for females and kid's than it does for men. That being said, there is a decent book section and some of the fitness stuff may work for a male. They had more rubber/chrome dumbbells back in the Spring but there are other smaller dumbbells now. There is a bigger section on candy and I found "old skool" Chuckles jelly candies which I used to like. There are pretty decent cell phone accessories and a good selection of some grooming tools. The store is clean and pretty well laid out. Daiso is still better for my needs but this is worth an occasional sniff, maybe. read more

Love this store! I found great phone cases, sunglasses and t-shirts for under five bucks! The staff are all really nice and my cashier, Ielishiah had amazing energy and was a lot of fun. She really was excited about her store and her enthusiasm was contagious! They were selling 5 cent hot dogs yesterday and I was told today the laker girls would be making an appearance. I visited this store during the Thanksgiving holiday with my adult daughter in which she found a few items. Some items sold are identical to the Dollar Tree store but slightly higher priced. I stopped here after browsing around Tjmaxx. it's right next door. This is the cleanest and most organized discount store I have ever been to. There are plenty of employees around asking if you need help with anything. Everything is clearly labeled with the right price and they have a wide variety to choose from. I was pleasantly surprised when I stepped into Five Below. It's such a cute store with many great deals! They have a wide variety of iPhone cases and accessories. There are Beach toys, towels, and sun screen. A huge variety of candy for a great deal! A lot of little toys and board games. If you like emoji items there's an entire aisle of items. T shirts, make up, party decorations, gift bags and many other cute items. You will probably end up buying a basket full of items that you don't need but it's a fun store! This store is great! Clean and tidy with a great selection, and everything is 5 dollars or less. They seem to specialize in household knick-knacks and things that high-schoolers or college students would like (school supplies, nail polish, etc). Also lots of craft kits and books. My personal favorite items sold here are their great quality leggings, and their knock off perfumes. Love, love, love this place! Omg, i love this store. They have great stuff for a low price. I almost got stuck there. Candy, games toys my fav make-up. Customer service was AMAZING. Ielisiah the cashier was so sweet she was polite and made me feel right at home. Her smile made me feel welcomed. Her customer service made my day.
