Newer store in the area makes for a great selection in all departments. Everything is clean and tidy. Customer service is pretty good too. Plenty of parking as it's a big plaza. Prices are fair and their selection of clearance is better than other stores. Good brands and things aren't broken for them to be on the clearance shelf like at other stores. Perfect day at this plaza would be stopping by Dutch Bro's, shopping at Marshall's, and picking up Little Cesar's for dinner. read more

I kind love this new Marshalls but hey let's not tell everyone haha. I have been going to this new location since they opened it up and I must admit I love it more than some of the other TJ Max and other Marshall stores as this one just has everything !! I go in looking for one thing and find myself leaving with ten other things that I didn't need but really wanted or could use. The store is pretty packed with LOTS of of holiday items for both Thanksgiving Christmas currently, making shopping a little over whelming as there is stuff everywhere but makes it fun as you can't help but find holiday gifts for everyone on your list . Did I mention the customer service is great as well . Everytime I go there I get the nicest people that check my items out for me ( I was going to say check me out but that sounded funny haha ) . Breanna I think that's her name for sure short is ( Bre ) .. she was so nice and I want to give a thank you to her as she helped me on 11/12 so thank you as I had two most wonderful shopping days there . I ended up finding baby shower gifts and I mean the most adorable items for my friends daughters shower , the book was from Barns and Nobles . I got my mom a really great foot stool made out of Acia Wood so she can carefully get onto her high bed ) she is 79 and struggles with the plastic step ladder now . Spider man matching pj's for 8,6 & 18 mo old kiddos so they will match for Xmas Eve . If you are wondering what am I going to get my family or friend for the upcoming holiday or for a birthday or baby shower - I'm telling you , you will find what you're looking for here . Heck I even found the cutest charcuterie boards that you can buy that are made out of beautiful natural wood and come with a hard plastic cover do you can gift a filled or empty one but how cool . I know my niece loves making these and this would make a great gift for her shh don't tell her .. pics of everything attached . This is one of the tackiest stores I have been in to date. i stopped here due to being in the area for an appointment. The clothes looked like they were pulled out of a box. The isles are tight. Dogs were barking and it was difficult to find size as clothes were just smashed together on racks. I cannot shop in a messy place. read more

I like this Marshalls. It's one of the newer ones and was opened few years ago. This location is always clean and much more organized than some others. I stop by once every few weeks and often find something I can buy. Mostly shoes (yes, more shoes!!!), some cute clothes, housewares, lingerie, luggage. Everything for less, of course. Compared to other stores like it, they have a very small Halloween presence this year. I have also noticed items here on clearance are higher than the store in Laguna Hills. This store does not value customers. The Manager Al, refused my return although I had the receipt and tags attached to my merchandise. He said he didn't recognize the merchandise although tags were attached. I has to drive to San Juan Capistrano for a return with no issues or questions. My mom raised me to be a bargain shopper and while I do shop around, sometimes I forget to check places like Marshalls, HomeGoods, and other discount stores. I just happened to be picking up something at a store nearby and wandered into Marshalls first. I found my Joico Blue shampoo in store on clearance. Score! It was at least 50% off so I bought the shampoo and conditioner before leaving. The expiration date was well into 2024 so I wasn't worried about getting it on clearance. I saved myself $30! Bargains can definitely be found in the beauty section, you just have to look. I don't go into these stores for customer service and it was just okay. There were 2 cashiers and a short wait, so I was fine. I can imagine that most places are short staffed. read more

I think I'm done with this Marshall's. They lost their avid customer who spends at least $200+ at each shopping trip. I entered the store today with two return items. There is a sign right by the sliding door that states "holiday returns are accepted until January 25, 2022." Well, today is the 8th. My husband and I looked throughout the store for some home furnishings. When we checked out with a cart filled with our purchases, I informed the cashier that I would like to return 2 Christmas items. He was reluctant and called his supervisor. Both declined my return of the two items because in their reasoning, "it's passed Christmas so we can't accept Christmas items." They both then contacted another store manager who was firm with the return policy and wouldn't let us return. Then, the cashier had the audacity to sell my husband on the Marshall's credit card and wouldn't stop. The floor personnel are sweet, but I can't go back due to the cashiers. read more

I had a very negative experience and awful evening with this location of Marshall department store in Laguna Niguel CA, the cashier and store manager were very rude and impolite, I bought merchandise 2 days ago and since I got home I noticed that it didn't have good quality, as far as I know about their return policy I decided to return it, but unfortunately the seller didn't accept and called manager and she was so impolite and made me upset and angry, she told me they couldn't return because it didn't have good quality and they couldn't return it to it's company, I told it is not my fult, but she Impolitly ignored me and told they don't have time for my problem and left alone me in front of cashier desk. When I got angry she told me go and call customer service we can't help you that's it, I called customer service but unfortunately office was closed. I've never had a good experience at this location. The cashiers are always rude and don't greet you. Especially the middle aged lady with short hair and glasses. Lady if you don't like your job don't work there! Also had another bad experience with a cashier today she was maybe in her late 20's, dark hair, and had an RBF. I went up to the counter and said hi, didn't even greet me put my receipt on the table instead of handing it to me I hate that it's so rude, but I didn't get her name unfortunately. The selection here is ok. I wish there was another Marshall's closer to me because the customer service is always horrible. I've seen other reviews for this location saying the cashiers are rude. I dropped a foundation and broke it. It was $2 and I didn't have enough cash on me! I requested a discount and the manager said I can't give you a discount! I knew no one else would buy a broken foundation and that she could not put it on the shelf. I went home to get cash to buy the item but when I went back to the store the manager said " I wrote it off". I can't can't sell it to you anymore. I said it was only an hour ago you must still have it in the store and I want to pay for it. I said I want that foundation and manager who was not friendly at all- rather aggressively said, you didn't request " a hold"! I'm rather surprised. It was a very simple thing. During this Covid19 time I was hesitant to walk into department stores, I found this store to be safe, in nice area and I told myself to chance it. I need some last minute gifts. I have done everything on Black Friday on Amazon, Cyber Monday on Amazon and they still honor all cyber Monday deals. I am done shopping I don't like holiday crowds Mathew greeted me in the front, then Maria, I just felt so welcome. I have no colors in my eyes. Even tho I taught color at Xerox for 40 yrs ! I am not one to write reviews but I was so perturbed but my experience today (5/19 around 3:30 pm) that I decided to share. I was shopping with a friend and found a Galileo thermometer with purple bulbs for $9.99; a Galileo thermometer is a large glass tube full of clear liquid with small bulbs with temperature numbers. Unfortunately, the tip was broken and some of the liquid had spilled out but I decided to take it to the front to see if they had more or buy it at a discounted price. When I got to the register and told the cashier about it being broken and he asked the "coordinator" for a discount she looked at me and said, "It's just gonna be $9." I was kind of taken aback by her tone and just said, "Okay..." I know the item was only $9.99 but it was broken and not completely functional because some of the liquid was missing. The cashier even went to her and asked her to give me a bigger discount but she refused. He was the only one to apologize to me about the item being broken. Like I said, I'm not one to write reviews but this kind of behavior from a higher-level staff member isn't okay. I have worked in retail before and have personally experienced some customers who would've demanded a 50% discount but idk, maybe she was just having a bad day because I walked out of there pretty disappointed and it was my first time going to a Marshall's. I'll definitely go back but expect the bare minimum. read more

Be sure to check your receipt before leaving the store. Purchased a Pedi-Cure item that was on clearance. My mom changed her mind so I went back to return it 3 days later. When the Sales Associate looked at it she called the manager over. When she eventually came over 5 minutes later, she asked if I had purchased anything else AND if I had switched the price tags. Excuse me? Is she accusing me of switching out a sticker price tag to return an item? Hahaha! Since it's a Sunday they can't verify what the "original item" is from the receipt so I'd have to return during the weekday when systems are up and running. How about you hire competent employees that know how to do their jobs and place appropriate stickers in the appropriate department instead of accusing me of "switching out price tags" to return an $8 item. This Marshalls small but brand spanking new and clean. The shoe department is small but there was a good selection of summer sandals and tennis shoes. The store contained the usual selection of women's, men's and kids clothes, bedding, pet supplies, kitchen supplies and things to decorate your house with. Don't forget to pick up a bag of Gummi bears conveniently located next to the check-out registers. Let's see...I was in here after a long day at work, I spent an hour in the store shopping so you just know a bag of those Gummi's made it's way into my shopping bag...LOL. Most of the clothes I found were marked down (Yeah), and I have to say the selection was better than the Marshalls I usually go to in Costa Mesa where it seems busloads of tourists from the nearby hotels get dropped off to bargain shop. I picked up some clothes, some doggie shampoo, a couple of beach towels, some kitchen knives & I can't remember what else. All I know is that I carried out a huge shopping bag full of stuff when I left the store. LOL. read more

Who doesn't like a deal?! I think most people do and if you are looking for deals then Marshalls is a place to check out. Now, I am just going to assume that most people have been to discount stores such as these. A place where past season items, overstocks and slightly altered clothing finds a home and maybe some new things. But that's what you'll find. This particular store has been open for a month now, so it's bright and clean and the employees are quite as jaded as other locations but you'll find the same general things here from shoes to clothes to kitchen items. The key to these places is to check them out often (if you can) because they get shipments of items a couple times a week. So you never really know what they will have and if something will still be there the next time. I look at it like panning for gold, you just got to be willing to roll up those sleeves and move some hangers. With this addition, it's all good. Bright, clean and new. No complaints. read more

Last weekend I went to this location and purchased 7 items from this location and I paid about $120. They hired lots of young employees that don't have that much experience recently. Today after a week went to return 3 of my items that I didn't want they told me they can not refund me for 2 items because I didn't pay for them from the beginning. The way manager was talking to me it was like I took those items without paying and now I want refund for something I didn't pay. They refunded me only for one item and the other two they just took it without paying me back. My receipt was showing them I purchased 7 items and was returning 3! I took the manager's name to complain because she accused me for shoplifting!!! I just lost about $55. I hate writing bad reviews. This location has pretty good items and steals, but the employees- more specifically the cashiers- are EXTREMELY rude. I came to this location on 2/5 and found one of my favorite brands on clearance. It was a FoxyBae hair blowout dryer that included some cool hair stuff in it. There was no price sticker on it, so i asked one of the floor employees to see if they can price check it. She was incredibly sweet, I wish i got her name to give her a shoutout. She came back from the front cashiers and said the item was $29. I thank her and i shop around some more. It's finally time to pay and I was rudely greeted by one of the cashiers. Weird enough how she wasn't wearing a name tag. She tried ringing me up but couldn't because there was no price sticker. But I told her the situation about the price check coming out to $29 according to her coworker and the item being in the clearance section. I kid you not- she looked me dead in the eye, continued to interrogate me about the price, and questioned which coworker told me it was $29. Like??? Bro lol. At this point I'm frustrated because this middle aged lady is clearly doubting my integrity. She doesn't know what to do, so she speaks to her shift lead. The lead told her that she remembered my item being price checked- but didn't take initiative to handle the situation. My cashier proceeded to go to a higher manager and spoke with her. My cashier doesn't say a word and continues to twiddle her fingers like as if I'm not standing in front of her. Five minutes pass and i ask, "well are you going to sell me it? Otherwise i'm leaving because this is wasting my time at this point." She responds "Oh yeah, my manager's getting a price sticker." That would've been nice to know they end up ringing me up for $26 and I leave. I've worked in customer service AND a retail job before so I know how it goes. I witnessed,the girl that was the desk mgr was fighting with a customer over a price of a dress, the customer wanted to to see the other dress that the mgr took the price from , but the mgr told her no, at this point the customer bought the dress but wanted to make sure is correct pricing in case of return, the mgr refused, to sign the receipt. Customer got mad , exchange of words , other people got involved. All I can say is Marshall's should never allow their employee to talk to customers like that, that was a awful experience, left my merchandise and walked out. read more

To begin, I'd like to say that my family and I obviously have gotten great deals and products that we have enjoyed from this specific location. However, other than that, this store is beyond mediocre. Of the items we enjoyed, some of them have been damaged (a mug) and others have had glue or other matter on them. This leads into my first complaint, the environment. Absolutely disgusting. From beginning to end of the day, the store can pass as completely uncleaned. Many items are covered in dust. On top of this, many of the employees that work as stockers are very rude. None of them have asked if we needed assistance and always ignore and violate our space. One old woman in particular was working in the shoe area and was nearly touching me, not even saying excuse me. This woman also had been pushing shoes down the shelves as we were trying to look at a pair. Another woman was partially blocking an aisle around the beauty section and when we were approaching, she gave us a cold glare and did not even make an attempt to move as we were about to ask. This forced us to take an alternate route. Many of the cashiers have also been very rude to myself and other customers, although some have been very kind! I would also like to mention that sections such as the shoes are VERY unorganized. Completely unprofessional. Men's, Women's, Children's all combined. Makes me question if these employees are even doing their job. Not like the cleaners are either. I have so much more I could address, but with what this store offers, I would suggest anyone seeing this drive to any other Marshall's in the area. read more

I just don't find a lot of selection here as I've seen with other Marshall's stores, but I think it's because they just don't have a lot of space. It feels small and cramped. LOVE this store! For a smaller store, it has an exceptional choice of options, and the store is always spotless. The staff is always helpful, and they go out of their way to assist you. It is a stressful time, and it seems that people have become more openly hostile to retail workers. I have been waiting in line, and have heard customers scream about returns. Most stores do not allow you to return holiday items (e.g., Christmas napkins, Christmas decorations, etc.) after the holidays. Also, when you come in with an item and no receipt, it is a problem anywhere. Not just this Marshalls. When the sales associates ask if you want to apply for Marshalls credit card, this is like McDonalds sales asking if you would like fries with that. It is a sales technique. The sales people are told to do this and are actively critiqued on this action. I really appreciate the wide variety of cosmetic/bath products available at a significantly lower price then the listed original. The Hallmark equivalents (e.g., cards, holiday plates, etc.) are high end yet significantly less expensive. As for the staff, they are always generous and helpful. Especially the manager named Lindsey. She has great ideas for my nieces, and always tries to be pleasant, even after I have witnessed hostile behavior from customers. I do not work for Marshalls, but I do appreciate the store. I have always worked. Even when I was in my teens. And I remember how insecure I was when I first started out, and how devastated I felt when Customers yelled at me. Although it's a stressful time, it's also a time to help each other get through the challenges. Thank you, Lindsey and everyone else who works at Marshalls.
