They also sell accessories like affordable jewelry from local artisans, unique scarves, shoes/boots/sandals and even an assortment of wonderful hand reams and candles that smell so good! The other day I had to buy a pitchuli scented candle because it reminded me of my youth! Like any store, some of the clothing works for me and some doesn't. We all have to know our own bodies and what fits best. What I like about adorn most is that they have a variety of styles because they know women's bodies come in a variety of shapes! I try to stop in several times a year to see what's new, when I need a special outfit or a gift for a friend. This week I bought a pair of Mia slides that are waterproof, perfect for after my swims, and they have a Birkenstock footbed making them super comfortable with support for my feet. Love them! Just $30 and in a very on trend rose gold color with white buckles. Wore them to the pool the next day and a little girl complimented me! Too cute. My only complaint is that the store is so packed with items that when trying on shoes, there was nowhere to put the boxes while trying them on in front of the mirror. A sales clerk ended up vclearing off a stool so I could place my potential shoes there as I tried on different sizes and styles. They have several locations (downtown, SE Clinton) and it's worth visiting them all!

The owmer/manager responded to my review below by stating they are a small store and sell out of sizes since they only get 8 of each. They still have limted sizes. I am not sure if the "why" matters if you go shopping and wear a large and there are none. I was not able to view the size or price tags without having to fish for them and pull it out so I could see. I found it annoying when shopping since buying clothes is the main goal. It is not an art exhibit. Maybe they do not know what it is like to be short and not able to easily view the tags. It is amazing how are unaware people people are of size differences. Yes, you can set your store up however you want. Just not every one will find it user friendly.

I had been notified by text they had them so when I told her that's what I was there for she rolled her eyes and walked away without another word. I feel the staff at this location are often less helpful if I look "less put together" when I shop here. It'd be nice to not feel judged by what I'm wearing/whether I am wearing make up etc.... I will say the store layout was a bit interesting, with some areas that felt more cramped. It was fairly crowded when we went, so I did have to squeeze by people to make my way through the store. I spent some time browsing the clothing section and found several items that caught my eye. The clearance section was a bit disorganized and the sizes were not labeled clearly unfortunately. Customer service at Muji was friendly and adequate. The staff working in the fitting room area were especially helpful. It would've been great to have more fitting rooms available, as the line moved slowly and took up a good chunk of time. You are also limited to bringing in 5 items at a time but you can swap out items as needed. I ended up purchasing multiple tops and a few pants for everyday wear. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to browse the homewares section but was pretty satisfied with my clothing purchases and shopping experience. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

They take the clothes like they're ring out a wet sheet and then wrap it around their hand and stuff it in the bag. Also has anyone else noticed that all the clothes are wrinkled that are hanging up? They snuck that one by us pretty quick didn't they? When everyone started buying clothes online with these folds increases in them it became more acceptable. But do you realize how much work we actually have to do once we get the garments home to get them to look halfway decent!?

This place has the coolest jeans I've seen with patches of fabric. The associate said they have some Japanese vintage jeans, some new from Japan, and a collection of their own in-house designer who works with a local seamstress to incorporate fabric patches in the most creative ways. If you want to make your own jeans, they have books and craft kits for sashiko (a traditional Japanese embroidery technique for mending, reinforcing, and decorating fabric with white running stitches on indigo-dyed cloth Indigo dyes) as well as indigo dye kits. They also have other fashionable clothing items including hats and shirts and the most beautiful, unique jackets and coats.
