Nice store, full of vintage Knick knacks, things that you would find at your Asian great grandmother's home. There's another Kiriko across the street that has more housewares and snackie things. Pretty things, good browsing, way too expensive for my pocket book.

Is it a clothing shop? Is it an accessory boutique? Is it a museum? After wandering through this place a couple of times, I'm convinced it's all of the above. The charming displays of Japanese curios, textiles, clothing and assorted vintage items are all impeccably arranged so as you wander through the crowded space you're never quite sure what's for sale and what's not, but the place is full-on magical. It's visually chaotic but somehow serene at once, with incense wafting through the air as you turn corner after corner, only to discover a completely new arrangement of colorful items. They are apparently a lifestyle brand, and seems like they specialize in upcycled handmade clothing, (among other things). Bearing that in mind, prices can be pretty steep, but given the care and curation of the store itself I'd imagine the goods are likewise well crafted I've never bought anything here, but I will definitely come back to Kiriko just to experience its one-of a-kind vibe again

Leather patch has bled and stained the denim

Beware of the care instructions, I bought these jeans about a month ago (https://kirikomade.com/products/kiriko-original-denim-jeans-custom-dyed-premium-selvedge-yellow-nami?variant=43693731184802), they were washed twice per the care instructions and the stain they use for their leather patches has bled out over the denim, staining it permanently. Customer service just said "we have never heard of that happening with our jeans before" which doesn't inspire hope that things will change, but I do hope they replace the care labels on their products, it certainly isn't fair to customers to state that they're suitable for cold wash/ tumble dry low.

A beautifully curated shop that I absolutely enjoy visiting every time I am in downtown Portland. Aside from their upcycled textiles, they have a wonderful selection of Buddhist statuary which are very reasonably priced given the detail. I was on a time crunch last time I visited, but I would have liked to spend more time browsing their ceramics and hand towels.

I'm fashion nooby but this shop is so damn cute! We randomly ran into this while strolling arojnd downtown and it immediately caught our eyes. Lots of outfits with heavy Japanese influences with unique twists. They have an interesting collection of denim jackets in the back of the store, where they take brand name jackets (e.x. Lee) and add patches with Japanese patterns. The shop assistants were attentive and friendly.

What a lovely find! Absolutely gorgeous fabrics, ceramics and more - good prices (some high some low) - and the staff is very friendly.

They found beautiful masks with awesome prints and I purchased a beautiful scarf to wear as a mask and some incense.

Did not notice any service happening. Limted sizes like small and Meduim on some items. The owmer/manager responded to my review below by stating they are a small store and sell out of sizes since they only get 8 of each. They still have limted sizes. I am not sure if the "why" matters if you go shopping and wear a large and there are none. I was not able to view the size or price tags without having to fish for them and pull it out so I could see. I found it annoying when shopping since buying clothes is the main goal. It is not an art exhibit. Maybe they do not know what it is like to be short and not able to easily view the tags. It is amazing how are unaware people people are of size differences. Yes, you can set your store up however you want. Just not every one will find it user friendly.

What is important in Portland is that Mr. Bruce, I mean Brent Collier has made a career of going to Italy and buying clothing direct, and the same with the NYLA garment districts. He brings it back to little, but creative Portland. Who else does that here? No one. And Collier has an excellent eye. He buys shirts, suits, jackets, sweaters, ties, belts scarves, and more, in small quantities. The quality is stellar, and the price earthbound. I found a great lightweight wool Italian suit at Collier with extra pants at a very, very reasonable price. Let's just say 1/4 to 1/3 the price of any place in the area. Same for some dress shirts which continue to draw compliments. Collier has a wider range of color than some of our stylish male clothing purveyors who hew to black, brown, gray and white. If you want unique suit fabrics at a reasonable price that would qualify you to be in The Sartorialist http://www.thesartorialist.com/, this is the only place in Portland. His former store was the Stockroom, and all the cool kids in town, now grownups, have been patrons for a while. If you need fashion advice or suggestions shopping, Collier can provide that too. Shopping for yourself, or anyone with a fashion sense, shopping for their boy, will be able to communicate their concept to Collier. And with the Wildfang phenomena, girls looking for the next level of boyfriend shirt look might look here. So anyone shopping for anyone looking for style, quality and unique is totally welcome. There might be spots like this in LA, SF or NY, but visitors to Portland shopping have the advantage of no sales tax. He changes the store up regularly, so it's worth checking in periodically. There is also a tailor right there for alterations. If you want style, quality, uniqueness and price in men's clothing; collar shirt, tie, jacket style, and even some sportswear, Collier is the best and most unique place in Portland.
