We just got back from this resort and had a really great time…read more Positives: Location was excellent. Very friendly staff who were very helpful. We had picked the cheapest room possible ("comfy queen") and were pleasantly surprised when upgraded to a king (thank goodness) at check-in. Front desk people were very helpful securing taxis and making a small correction on out bill. Love the fruit-infused water on the lobby. They always had pool towels available in the early morning hours (before 7 am). Three pools were all very nice. Although small, the Beach area was very nice, spent most of our time there. Housekeeping was very good and most days they were done with our room before 10 am. The activities every day that were clearly posted and sent via text message as well- these activities are included as part of the resort fee. We chose to pre-pay for breakfast at the resort cafe and I beleive that was a smart move and we got more than our money's worth in bacon alone. Wait staff was very friebdly and service was good (this includes the guy at the walk-up coffee place that opens before the restaurant. Negatives: REALLY expensive so be prepared. Like all hotels, the price you end up paying is not what's quoted on the website. There are always many taxes added to your room rate: city tax, state tax, occupancy tax. All are legal taxes and travelers should expect to pay them. If you don't travel a lot this can be shocking when you check out. For the money we paid, we expected a nicer room. There wasn't anything wrong with it but it was not as nice as expected for the cost. Be prepared that this is not a gated resort and anyone can walk through. There is even a public road that seperates portions of the property from one another. There is a flood of cruise ship people in the area daily. Some non-guests came through one of the pool areas and staff chased them away. Guests can easily be identified by the key/bracelets worn, suggest all guest wear at all times. The beach area is also public. The chairs and umbrellas belong to the resort. Only issue we expereinced is that the resort hosted a wedding and on that day all the beach chairs were smushed to the side and no umbrellas allowed. The resort person in charge of the beach area was unpleasant to the resuort guests who were really confused what was happening as all our stuff was being moved about. This could have been avoided if the resort had sent a text message to all guests setting expecations for the day. Letting people know what the limits were at the beach that day would have avoided frustration for everyone. Chairs at Pinapple and shores pool were not comfortable. For people who get up early, there is no place to go and if your roommate is still asleep there are no options as coffee shops in the area don't even think about opening until 7. They need add some indoor seating somewhere for people to gather and maybe provide some free coffee, like the hampton inn. I did not enjoy seeing trash in the walkway, likely it was from housekeeping. Someone should police the area and pick up those small pieces of trash.

We booked a reservation for one of the adults-only guest houses, but when we checked in and got to…read moreour room, we discovered we had been assigned a completely different room than the one we reserved. Our reservation also included breakfast, but when we arrived for breakfast, we were told we weren't on the list. After speaking with the front desk, we were informed that our original reservation had been canceled and rebooked as a standard queen room without our knowledge or approval. They were unwilling to honor or accommodate our original reservation. When we spoke with management, they claimed we had to be at least 25 years old to stay in the adults-only guest houses. However, everyone in our group was over 25, despite apparently looking younger. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, management was dismissive and rude. To make matters worse, the room we were placed in was surrounded by families with young children, and we had to listen to screaming kids throughout the night. Avoiding that environment was one of the main reasons we specifically booked the adults-only accommodations. What was even more concerning was that we spoke with another couple staying at the hotel who had experienced the exact same issue. Their reservation had also been changed without their knowledge, making it seem like this isn't an isolated incident. If you're considering staying here, I highly recommend confirming your reservation before you arrive to make sure it hasn't been changed without your knowledge. It could save you from having to deal with the same frustrating experience we had.

Moped Hospital's customer service is top-notch and the pricing is exceptional. TIP -- Because they are so popular, it's best to reserve early and include your style preference. I typically pick the classic Italian design but have been very happy with the more modern designs.

Giving a solid 4 stars. Honestly its much easier to list what could be improved. And considering…read morethis environment, I can only think of a couple. 1. Hot Tin Roof Restaurant. The breakfasts for the price taste dismal and lower quantity. 2 eggs bacon, toast, and chopped potatoes a bit over $20 as most other dishes plus smaller sizes if you just want a donut or similar. The vibe I get is for breakfast this place is for guests who have a hotel package that includes free breakfasts. They also charge a 18% mandatory "service charge" and of course another line for the tip. We didn't do dinner here. I hope its better than the breakfast. 2. We booked under The Edge Chase Sapphire Reserve so its $100 property credit and free breakfasts for 2. When you consider "service charges" tips, taxes, and determine what the credit can be used for, it becomes a bit confusing. I know for a fact that laundry is not included, neither is the $50/day valet parking. Sort of an resort advantage to keep the guest guessing. Drinks food, spa i know are included with the $100. The valet guy was cool and informative. Considering the small island size and the cost of everything, this was a great stay. The room and balcony overlooking Malery Square plus the ocean and Sunset Island were fantastic. I have stayed at many locations over the years and this was by far the best. Pegasus on Duval is a dump. Both Hyatts are nice but on east side of the island so transportation becomes an issue. Do you really want to drive close to Duvall....if you can find a space, then pay for parking? This place is 2 blocks from Sloppy Joe's, Hogsbreath, next to Malerly Square and sunset pier. Walking distance to the hot spots at night.

Terrible hotel building with terrible customer service…read more Building is old and consist of few buildings combined. Need to change elevator 2 times to go to your room. Rooms are nicely decorated but not what you expect for $1000 a night. They are way over priced for the quality. Front desk staff is terrible. Don't know how to handle issues which you will have plenty. We didn't have AC 2 out of 3 nights and they didn't even feel bad about it. They said basically it is what it is and we have to deal with it. One night they moved us to another room and they were acting like they were doing us a favor. It was major problem for us. second night they moved us to our room which has broken AC And gave us boxed fan to cool off. Front desk manager is clueless and don't know how to handle issues and he has kids working for him who do not know how to handle anything. They are like teenagers. I would never ever stay there again and warn anyone not to there. Oh you will wake up 5am because of dumpster trucks getting the trash and it takes like 20 min. Another thing is their damn roosters , they start 4am and won't let you sleep. Jesus, it was 3 days of hell!

We were so excited to find out there was live music every day at the pool, only to be disappointed when most of the time it was not that good! They also allow locals/ non guests to come in which we heard several times while we were out from people and it was proven true! The bar/restaurant hours were so odd and it closed pretty early for being the only food in the place! Do not expect early check in or late check out- they do not accommodate this even though they text you to ask when you will be arriving! We only had someone clean our room once during the 6 days we were there! We ended up bringing our own trash out everyday, finding someone for toilet paper/towels, etc! This trip was for our honeymoon and it was just disappointing to spend so much money to get the bare minimum!

The MARKER has won me over !…read more From the outside of the property the place looks great and looks like many of the homes in Old Town but much newer and much bigger. And inside the building the decor is keys typical but done so well and the entrance up the stairs is great. I also love that they have a private garage beneath the resort. Once we got our keys, we passed through the pool areas (more than one pool) and it's lovely; so tropical with tons of palm trees and other plants and it's kept so nice. We arrived to our room and was so pleased, so clean and decor made us feel good. As nice as everything was I wanted to go out for the night and the location for this can't be beat. Right by the Bight Marina so we have a lot of restaurants/bars to choose from like Boat House, A&B Lobster, Half Shell Raw Bar and Schooner Wharf and in the morning you're right by Cuban Coffee Queen. Also the location is walkable to Duval Street so you have more restaurants more bars and lots of action.
