The two cask offerings are out of this world. Can't remember the names but one is a dark beer and the other a bitter. I'm here all day for them. Like all day. They also have a nitro milk stout I can't wait to get my lips on. Milk stouts (stouts in general) are another fave of mine. The brewery is welcoming and I loved the vibe from the minute we pulled up. I tried a flight and was impressed across the board--especially the IPA and their rotating small-batch brew, which had great balance and depth without being too heavy. They're clearly doing more than just cranking out the basics here; there's real thought in the brewing. The food truck on site is a big bonus. I had the pulled pork sandwich with fries--absolutely hit the spot. Great portions, flavorful, and a perfect match for a cold pint on a warm day. What really sets Bell Springs apart, though, is the atmosphere. It's family-friendly, dog-friendly, and totally unpretentious. You're as likely to see a group of locals playing cards as you are a couple sharing a bottle from the winery next door. We got one of their flagship beers, the McConauhaze which was a New England style IPA. It's obviously referencing Matthew McConaughey who went to college in Austin (but is originally from the San Antonio area). Lots of Austin folks make references to the actor. In the flavor profile for this beer it is juicy, citrus which contributes to a strong overall flavor but is yet smooth with this hazy. It's a nice solid beer overall. The location for this brewery is great, large place and it's in Hill Country.

The grounds were very spacious and had lots of things to do from live music to a playground and more. When we arrived early to setup we got a chance to meet Bobby who was incredible. From helping us choose the perfect spot to moving tables and even setting up with us, he did it all. When it was windy and our decorations began to blow off the table he even took it upon himself to bring out his own decorations and staple gun to make sure things would work. If you're doing an event it's also pretty accessible from their parking lot which also has a lot of spots. The rest of our time after that was perfect. The live music filled the grounds and was pretty good. We were a little worried about food options, but their pizza was a hit amongst our entire group. They allowed for us to bring cake as well, which some places don't do. As the night got later and the sun set, it really was a beautiful spot. The walk up bar ensured drinks kept flowing and everyone was happy. Before we ended our night, we took a walk over to their goat area and to our absolute surprise were met there by Bobby who waived the entrance fee for all of us (roughly a dozen people). The goat experience was awesome and is something that truly separates this place from others. While we had an amazing time, planning was made a bit difficult due to some unresponsiveness from Parker, who we think is their events manager? It was difficult to get in tough with him by call or by phone and had been worrying leading up to our event, although it ended up turning out perfectly. We cannot express how grateful we are to Jester King and Bobby for all they did for us. Thank you for truly creating something memorable for family and friends.

We'd never been, so we decided to give it a try. The property is spacious, with plenty of seating options. We expected the band to be loud, so we chose a spot farther from the music. My dad uses a rollator and had no trouble getting around the property. My dad and I had the fuzzy lemonade, while my husband tried a few of their beers. They have a limited selection of snacks, but there's also a food truck. Our experience with the food truck staff wasn't great; they came across as a bit rude. I don't hold that against Ghost Note, though. The brewery staff was matter-of-fact rather than especially welcoming, but they weren't rude. Overall a nice Sunday and we will be back.

They were tasty. Again, with free beer - hey, still a great deal! The grounds alone are worth the visit. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. They shared the background story for this veteran owned business & it was all just very inviting. The beers we had were all good. My favorite was the dark stout, which was a very solid stout.
