We had a great little corporate outing at Hwy71 Brewing. Nice to get out of the office for a bit with a pint and pickleball! Was easy to reserve a court online, staff was super great and they had plenty of balls and paddles! Highly recommend.

Great Beer, Delicious Beer and Root Beer & Local Charm!…read more Lago Vista Brewery is such a gem! My husband and I stopped by with our two German shepherds and had a fantastic time. He tried both the 1942 and the Vista IPA--while he enjoyed both, the Vista IPA was the winner. Since I'm pregnant, I opted for their homemade root beer, and it was absolutely delicious! We went on a Sunday and were pleasantly surprised to find a farmers market happening. We picked up some fresh veggies and a flavorful garlic pesto hummus--such a great touch to support local vendors. The atmosphere was laid-back and welcoming, and it's clear this brewery is all about community. We can't wait to come back--definitely a must-visit in Lago Vista!

The owners have a great story and you can read all about it here: https://www.lagovistabrewingco.com/our-story If you are not familiar with this area they may be difficult to locate. Coming from Jonestown look to your right you can see the tanks, on the hill, as you pass the only LV stoplight. There is plenty of parking and there is a very large patio and with picnic benches and an umbrellas for shade. The patio is mutt and kiddo friendly. There is also a smaller patio by the entrance that is also covered. Hungry? A food truck was on site on the Saturday that we visited. Onto the brews. My first beer was the Gold Bars, Babe Czech Pale Lager. This is a perfect Czech pale that is light and crisp and perfect for a hot afternoon. Plus one ordered the Bronco Blonde Blonde Ale. It drank very light and was a great example of Blonde Ales that most breweries offer. I also sampled their Chairman of the Board Italian Grape Ale. Since we just visited Flat Creek winery I took a flyer on this beer as it is aged in Flat Creek's French oak Cab barrels. It was very complex/interesting but not my cup of tea/beer. They have some other interesting brews that I can't wait to try like their IPAs, ambers, and Italian pilsner. Not a beer person they offer wine and a cider. Do check out the Flat Creek bubbles it is truly wonderful. Service was excellent and we were cheerfully offered samples. One nit they had live music on Sat and the very talented gentleman playing was severely compromised by the terrible building acoustics. I would suggest adding bafflers. Strong 4 stars! Support these guys!!!

I stopped by on a sunny afternoon and instantly loved the relaxed vibe. Picnic tables under the trees, plenty of space to spread out, and super friendly staff who are clearly proud of what they're pouring. It's a place where you can settle in and stay a while. I tried a flight and was impressed across the board--especially the IPA and their rotating small-batch brew, which had great balance and depth without being too heavy. They're clearly doing more than just cranking out the basics here; there's real thought in the brewing. The food truck on site is a big bonus. I had the pulled pork sandwich with fries--absolutely hit the spot. Great portions, flavorful, and a perfect match for a cold pint on a warm day. What really sets Bell Springs apart, though, is the atmosphere. It's family-friendly, dog-friendly, and totally unpretentious. You're as likely to see a group of locals playing cards as you are a couple sharing a bottle from the winery next door. If you're looking for a casual, beautiful spot to enjoy craft beer, good food, and good company, Bell Springs Brewing should be on your list. I'll definitely be back--and next time, I'm bringing friends.

Also ordered their cheese dog, their brisket nachos, and their pork belly and glazed rib tacos. The tacos and cheese dog were amazing. Didn't really enjoy the nachos, the cheese sauce was a bit overpowering and too thick to hold up with the chips but overall great food/drink Service 4/5: food took a long time to come out but generally good service Ambiance 4/5: very little indoor seating but we got the one table indoors that I could see. Plenty of outdoor seating Value 3/5: average value, reasonable price for what you get Parking: plenty of parking lot parking

It's a small local brewery with a really nice community feel. I especially love that it's kid-friendly, which is something you don't always find at breweries. It makes the place feel more relaxed and welcoming. The food is decent, and the beer is delicious. Their beers have that true craft beer taste, which is something I really enjoy. I've tried many of their beers and have brought friends here to hang out as well. My favorite so far is the coffee stout. Overall, Slackers Brewing is a great local spot with good beer, a friendly vibe, and a welcoming atmosphere.

I popped in with a few friends and it was a mixture of NA beer, regular beer and mimosas. After pouring the bubbles they asked how much OJ we wanted and that was great to get as much or little. I will saw that the OJ was from a single serve Tropanica juice. lol I mean, I can't impinge the have a run on mimosas. Who knows...it could happen. I found the vending machine very interesting as it held different packets of various items. Legos, Main Character Energy Starter Pack (no clue what's inside), Mystery Socks, Pokemon, etc. Unique for sure. they had a fuzzball table, along with picnic seating inside, a bar area with maybe 10 seats or so and then the brewing equipment then the door out to the patio. Yes, it's a converted parking lot..but hey, what can you do in suburbia? Anyhoo, there were also an inside area for kids and and outside play ground ish, with these different huts. They had various games and we picked up Disturbed Friends. Now this game was definitely 18+ cause these cards were raunchy! OMG too much fun.
