My son is going to university in 2 weeks and I don't use this gym. I was told to come in. Today, I went to Planet Membership. Had no trouble canceling, but they charged 2 annual membership fees - and those posted today. So I'm out 106.++. I think that's crappy. No offer to refund. My company pays for my gym memberships, so I'll submit for reimbursement, but they shouldn't have to pay either. I had only planned to cancel 2 of 3 of our memberships, but this made me mad, so I canceled the third membership too and called my wife to tell her I'll pay for any other fitness club she wants and proceeded to advise her that we were charged for the annual fees today. As I was leaving, another man was on his way in and overheard me talking to my wife. He said he is dealing with the same thing. If a company operating can't be ethical, then not only will I not go there, but I will advise anyone else of my experience. Beware.

The saunas are often dusty, especially around the heating elements, and I frequently notice hair and dust in the corners. It's clear that regular deep cleaning isn't happening as it should. Also, the HIIT equipment is unreliable--sometimes the resistance levels don't hold, or the seat and handlebars shift during use, which can be frustrating and even unsafe. With the number of members using the equipment daily, I'd expect staff to be more proactive about checking and maintaining the spaces throughout the day, rather than relying solely on members to report issues. When you're doing back-to-back sessions, there's just no time to notify staff in between. And don't count on a hot shower afterward--the water barely gets warm even when turned to the max, which is disappointing after a sweaty session. I really hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves the cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and shower facilities -- this location just isn't living up to it right now.

It's the first time I worked out where I didn't wake the next day so sore I couldn't move. And yet, you leave with all your muscles fatigued and shaking. My friend brought me to slow fit a month ago and I wish I had listened to her a year earlier. Today she couldn't go, but I was there. Plus, you work with a trainer who makes sure you don't cheat. And overall, the cost of Slow Fit is no more than you will spend at one of the burn and churn national gyms who want your money but aren't interested in your goals.
