I've worked out at Fitness 1440 since before the new owners took over. The gym had its up & downs over the years but the new owners have made a lot of improvements that def keep me coming back. I love the fact that it's 24 hrs because you never know when you may want to get that pump on

I have been coming to Absolute Fitness for almost a year now. The staff there is very friendly, and they have great hours. The reason I'm giving them a 3 is because of cleanliness. I use their weight room almost everyday, and unfortunately, I waste most of my workout time putting away other peoples weights in order to even use the same equipment. Members there, do NOT EVER re-rack their weights, and they leave their garbage all over the place. I constantly find paper towels, coffee cups, and empty water bottles just laying all over the place. Their cardio equipment is not in the best shape but it works. I also tried to get a hold of a couple of personal trainers, and they aren't very good at communicating with you, or ever getting back to you. Other than that, the staff is very friendly, and they do offer a variety of fitness classes to get a good workout in, such as crossfit and bootcamp. I most likely will not be renewing my membership when my contract is over. read more

History

Established in 2016.

This club was originally opened as Absolute Fitness and was sold to Fitness:1440 in 2016. At that point the club was corporately owned until December of 2017 when Coty and Catherine Richardson purchased the club and became the franchisees of the Eugene location.

Meet the Business Owner: Catherine and Coty R.

Catherine and Coty have spent 10+ years in the fitness industry, Coty as a trainer and Catherine as a club manager. They have wanted to open their own gym together for many years, so when the opportunity to purchase Fitness:1440 in Eugene presented itself, they jumped on it! Through their years in the industry they've learned and practiced what it takes to run a successful club. Providing a clean, safe and supportive environment for their members is their top priority!

Not the best gym I've ever been to but also not the worst. They have enough to get the job done which is whats important. If you're hoping for a 24 hour fitness type spot, you're not going to get it. I did enough to get a decent work out. read more
