They do personal training also, and when you sign up you can get a free fitness eval and consultation too. I used to love this place, but they started using heavy fragrance by way of added air freshener chemicals not only in the automated sprayers in the bathrooms, but also in the overhead fan units about 6 months ago. You walk in and immediately get hit with chemicals, and it's difficult to work out in an environment (esp where asthma or chemical sensitivities aren't considered), and an owner that doesn't make health a #1 priority for everyone. Just go online and you can find that these chemicals are irritants for lungs and mucus membranes. Hello? We're breathing hard in there working out! In speaking with the owner on the phone directly, she made mention that people complained about the bathrooms smelling and thus why they now pump chemicals throughout. The solution isn't to pump chemicals into the entire facility. Keep it in the bathrooms if that's the issue. She wasn't willing to bend on reducing the chemical use. Very disappointing. I really like the atmosphere otherwise, nice people, decent equipment. I Just wish the owner had more tact around keeping the air healthy for everyone, as 15 minutes is about all I can tolerate in this place at any given time. read more

I am visiting in the area, so I called 4 times within the staff hours of 10am-4pm to check if they had a one-time guest pass available for purchase, and all of my calls went unanswered. I did see something on the website saying that all locations do have a guest pass available, the price varies from location to location so I decided to drive up to the location, in which the door was locked. I knocked a few times, and both times I was met with a look of acknowledgment that I was there by someone I could not tell if they were a staff member or not. But both times they just went back to looking at their phone. I was just trying to get a workout and was willing to pay the guest fee, but I wasn't give that option. read more

I am disappointed with the contract, and so the cancellation fees of this facility. When I first signed up and read my contract I was advised I could cancel at any time as I was on a healthcare contract in the region. When I went to cancel my membership six months later, they advised me my out-of-state license was inadequate and that I would need to show them my new driver's license and address to where I was moving. I am out of state on a healthcare contract which I once again reiterated to them. So I am returning to my state and the house where I am from, so why would I need a new DL. To cancel my membership now, I had to pay a $100 buyout, to cancel my membership. To the salespeople, please be upfront with the public. I only joined this facility due to my long work hours. It has been a total mess attempting to cancel this membership so I can return home. read more

This is a hamster cage gym. I came here for a few months because I got a discounted membership ship through my health insurance, and I was working odd hours at the time. The variety of equipment was disappointing; I wasn't able to recreate my usual workout routines and felt a bit stunted. Now that I'm working different hours, this place lost its appeal. There are limited staffed hours, so there's no way for them to enforce mask-wearing or sanitation. Thankfully, most of the members were compliant with doing both. read more

In my previous review I gave Anytime Fitness 2/5 stars for being unable to provide adequate customer outreach. The situation has since changed positively. I received a call from Billy yesterday, apologizing for the lack of communication and explaining that they have had some phone issues and were unable to receive my voicemail. He also explained how he thought he had sent me an email response but it sat in his outbox without sending. I can understand these technical issues, and the professionalism and friendliness of Billy over the phone corresponds with the warmness of his initial email. Billy offered me a free kettle bell lesson to make up for the miscommunication. I also received a call from the franchise owner offering me a free month at the gym. Unfortunately I have signed a contract with another gym but once my term is finished I intend to give Anytime Fitness another chance. Although I regret being unable to use their services for the time being, I do very much appreciate the outreach that I received from the company staff, they sounded genuinely apologetic and were extremely courteous and professional. Everyone makes mistakes, and I confidently say that they more than made up for their own. This coincides with my initial impression of the gym as a inviting and customer oriented business. If anyone is looking for a gym, definitely give these guys a shot. On a personal level, thanks guys. read more

This was my home gym 2 years ago, and then I moved back to Eugene and liked it so much I got a membership again. It's right off division in that plaza with everything in it. It's never that busy at any given time. I tend to go later than earlier most days but it's never crowded. You won't have to deal with dirty bathrooms, showers, sinks, and sweaty machines. The facility itself is immaculate and has several different rooms for different exercises and all the machines work flawlessly. The showers are hot and clean. Let them run for a couple minutes. I don't know the blonde woman at the front desks name, but she has signed me up both times and every time I bump into her she is so sweet and kind. Everyone that works here are incredibly friendly and accommodating. So if you're looking for an awesome deal at a gym in Eugene that's open 24 hours this is the one. It does lack in equipment, compared to many other gyms. It doesn't have the glitz of fancy gyms, nor does it have that gym rat feel that the old Iron Works had (wait... that was Houston). But the people that go here are pretty awesome. They are friendly and it is common to see regulars say hi when one comes in or leaves. There are trainers that give time to some of their clients there and it is motivating to see them working their butts off. The managers are pretty nice also. read more

Very clean, bright, and well ventilated! Have never seen it too crowded, which is a plus. It is also next to a lot of shops, including a supermarket and a pet shop. One downside is that it only has one of the elliptical machines that I like (there are more, just of a different variety), but it is usually not an issue and it is usually free 60-75% of the time. read more

Ive been a member since the opening in Eugene. The current owners seem to care about the gym. It is cleaned regularly. Their long time manager and the new manager, Billy are always willing and ready to help with any issues or concerns. Personal training is always available . The gym generally feels safe and I have never had one item stolen. If equipment is broken, it is fixed in a timely manner. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a low key place to exercise. Love this gym! It has a lot of weight lifting machines/free weights, cardio machines, and space to get a workout done. I like the gym because it is 24 hours. However the clientele is rather older and they take along time on the machines. For the price you pay which is quite expensive there is not a lot of equipment. I do like that is very clean. read more

NEED to update my review after training there yesterday (12/25/13). My regular gym was closed so I dropped in there & it's waaay BETTER now! There are 2 racks for squatting, deadlifting or whatever. Love the fact that Anytime fitness is 24 hours! And a safe place to work out if its really late or really early. I love their machines! They all have a TV on them! The staff is very helpful and very friendly. They could use a few more machines though. read more

New building and new equipment as of early 2013. I'm not sure if this is the new address or the old address......the locations are only about 1/4 mile apart. It was on the South side of Beltline and now it's on the North side in the same complex as Albertsons. read more

I was in today Thursday, April 26 I have not been in for quite some time would really love to get back to getting healthy again. Billy was there to guide me and he did a fantastic job. He explained it all and even suggested another personal training session so that I could make sure all my bases were covered! I'm disappointed that Anytime Fitness does not list its membership prices on its web site. Whether selling a product or a service, businesses should be open and up-front about their pricing, and should not try to make it difficult for consumers to compare prices. Decent gym, but lacks amenities. It is more expensive than all the surrounding gyms and actually offers less. It's an ok gym, but would really expect a little more for the price you pay. Usually pretty clean, with the exception of the same rude people continuously wearing their muddy shoes on the machines. read more

I was given information from "Silversneakers" to use this gym as it was the closest to my home (over 30 miles). When I went in the office scheduled me this morning for a 10am appointment with a trainer and gave me a key to get in. Last night the trainer called and asked me to change to 9am as he had another client who needed the 10am time and he would meet me at the door. I agreed and showed up at 8:55a and waited till 9am and went to use my key and it wouldn't work so someone inside opened the door and let me in. I looked around and couldn't find a trainer, so I waited and finally the trainer came at 9:55am. He gave some lame excuse for being late, but couldn't meet with me as he had the other appointment. I drove over 30 miles and wasted an hour and drove back home over 30 miles. I will not be using this gym or any "Anytime Fitness" gyms. I have also contacted "Silversneakers" with my disappointment and will not be using their service. I will NOT recommend either of these services to any of my friends. read more
