Wow- I am beyond amazed at how much I am enjoying Fitchow. This is my first week and I'm so impressed with how delicious AND nutritious everything is. All of the meals I've had this week have so much flavor! We have three kids home due to the pandemic and we've ate out SO much because we are both exhausted. Sadly there isn't a TON of healthy food options close by. I'm really excited that we were able to find a healthy option for us to cut back on eating out and hopefully start to feel healthier with our food choices! The portion sizes are also perfect. We tried another company the week prior to this week because we missed the delivery deadline- I was really disappointed in the portion sizes and it mostly focused on low calorie foods. I recently subscribed to 5 meals per week and opted for the Fit option that is for maintaining weight. The customer service was excellent and my first week's meals arrived last night. I just enjoyed my first meal and had to take a moment for a shout out to the chef! I had the cilantro lime chicken and everything was wonderful. The chicken was flavorful and moist even with the microwave reheating. I was worried about that, but you have obviously mastered this. The cilantro sauce was over the top drinkable. The thing that really did it for me was the grilled veggies. You can really taste the roasting in the peppers and squash. It was the best veggies I've had in the AV and it's just amazing that you nailed it with the reheating. I've been working remotely since COVID and while I enjoy cooking it is really time consuming in the middle of the day to prepare something healthy. Always yummy, always fresh, and they have Keto meals and Keto Baked items such as muffins and donuts! It's easy to eat Keto and stay within my macro goals when I eat FitChow meals. If you aren't on Keto they have the Lean and Fit options that are still healthy but higher in healthy carbs, lower on fat, but higher in protein. Love, love, love the fact that I can drop in and pick up fresh meals. Otherwise I would be worried about the food getting stolen before I got home from work or it going bad due to the heat. I can go in twice a week on Sunday and Wednesday and pick up fresh meals at reasonable prices. While I like the idea of meal prep kits I would only have time intermittently to cook them.
