After working out Halloween fun!
Malia R.

If you are looking to get in shape and meet a village of mom's and playdates for your kiddos this is the place! Whitney is the new owner she has years of experience in fitness training and offers classes for all levels! I have seen marathon runners next to couch potatoes in the same class. Classes are tailored to individual ability. Whitney and Elle offer lots of events for moms and kiddos to socialize. I am so grateful for this village of moms! Come join us! They offer prenatal classes so you can prepare for labor while finding a village of other mamas with babies around the same age. When baby is born come to stroller strides or strides 360 Body well is great for when kiddos are in school or you have a sitter but often kiddos can come too and they will likely bring back the playgroup with babysitters while you exercise as we open up more with COVID. Body well also offers wellness coaching with classes. I got back to my pre baby weight with body well while feeling energized and happy with endorphins! They have online classes too.

If you're a mom on Oahu who is looking to work on fitness... LOOK NO FURTHER! The amazing thing about FIT4MOM Honolulu is that you can do the just that, but outside with our beautiful island setting AND with your keiki in tow! An added bonus with this particular group is the amazing team of instructors they have in place, as well as the sense comradery and support felt from fellow mothers with common goals. Joining this group is an amazing opportunity to get yourself and your little ones outside, keep the kids socialized (as well as yourself because, let's face it, adult conversation with women working their way through motherhood just like you is MUCH needed), and get yourself a good workout routine to keep those endorphins flowing and your body strong so you can be the BEST version of yourself for you and your fa

Updated review 8/27/19: I am just completely my 3rd Body Back session and I can't love this program more! PS - this is what 50 looks like Updated review: I am just completing my second Body Back session and I wish Yelp had options to add more than 5 stars. This is not a fad diet kind of exercise program, instead Fit4MomHonoulu is a supportive lifestyle program that encourages you to live your best life. I enjoy exercise every day, meal prep (saves me money & time every week), increased energy & strength all while doing within a supportive community of amazing Mamas. I've been a Fit4Mom Honolulu member since Fall 2015 when my youngest was still a toddler. Stroller Strides became a part of our weekly routine and we attended at least 2-3 classes per week. I saw changes in my body that I had never seen before and the best part was that I was able to workout with my daughter beside me! We both enjoyed the classes as well as socializing with other mamas and kiddos after class. Motherhood in general can be extremely isolating so it was great to find this community of like-minded women! I am so thankful to be a part of the Fit4Mom Honolulu Family!

Workout on the beach!

If you don't have a mom tribe to sweat with, you're missing out! Every week I am blessed to sweat with these ladies 5-6 days a week. They inspire me, they motivate me and they encourage me, throughout each and every badass workout. Working out by myself at the gym was boring and uninspiring. I had the diet down, I was hiking while babywearing but I needed more, the exercise aspect, wasn't lining up with my interests. After seeing a FB ad I signed up for a class during open house week. Guess what? It came with free playgroup! I could actually keep an eye on my toddler playing with new friends and enjoying her snacks from just 100 yards away while I got my sweat on. It was the answer to my prayers and it has changed my life! There's nothing like sweating with other moms who are in the same season of life as you and don't judge you, ever! But what's really amazing is the increase in energy , increased libido , increased strength , I lost a significant amount of weight , improved endurance , I sleep better , and I'm more productive as the queen of the house . What is FIT4MOM Honolulu? It's a sisterhood of supportive women who encourage you along the way, accountability and lots and lots of fun! Guess what I've seen and what my family and friends have noticed? RESULTS!

Is this class only for mom? Is there age restriction? I am in my 60's but in fairly good shape.

Classes are for all mothers in all stages! You should take the "mom's only" classes like Body Boost or even the Body Well program

I started going here right after Thanksgiving and managed to stay motivated…read morethrough the new year - due in large part to my awesome coach Mel and the lovely ladies of the 530 AM class! That's right - 530 AM! Believe it or not, it is NOT the earliest class - that honor goes to the 445 AM boot camp - but it's a great way to start off your day. Egan's is all about contributing to your success. There are supplements, protein snacks and drinks, and a bit of gear for sale. Parking is right on the premises at $1/hour. And there is ALWAYS parking! Everyone who works the desk greets you every time you walk in, and my coach requires a once-weekly weigh in. If you aren't trending toward your goal, she (or he) reaches out to you to talk about your variables and how you can change your trajectory. Several times a year there are also challenges to mix things up a bit. These guys are as invested as you are! Coaches are always available to you. And a weigh in isn't just a weigh in - it's a really cool overall body analysis that shows you how much water is in your system (and consequently, how much more you could have), how much of your weight is fat and how much is muscle. I know! Cool - AND it holds you accountable. The gym has an app that allows you to manage your payments and reserve a spot for classes. Membership is unlimited all access - you can go to any location at any time and take any class, multiple times a day. Yeah, people go multiple times a day! Classes are fun, but they are HIIT classes, so you do to until exhaustion. But like all fun and challenging things, you can't wait to do it again. Classes also seem to switch the instructors up as well as the workouts, so don't be concerned that you'll get bored because you won't! Even more awesome, during this COVID-19 time the gym has closed but instructors are offering any number of online classes via FB Live and Zoom so you can keep on keeping on! And they are just committed and motivating online as they were in person. I always thought I could just work out on my own and be fine. I liked doing that too. But classes appear to be something I really respond to. I like the accountability and the energy of having others participating with you. I honest to God thought I was going to pass out at my first workout. I quickly realized I was horribly dehydrated and underestimated the effects of a pre-workout protein bar and it never happened again. Egan's help you develop a real body awareness and focus, and helps you renew your commitment to your own success. If you're wondering whether you can make it through a workout, well, you're just going to have to try it. And I highly recommend that you do. You may just surprise yourself!

Right away, I felt super comfortable with my flexologist and walked away refreshed. They were also promoting a 50-minute introductory one-on-one stretch for a discounted price of $59 at their studio. I figured, why not? Parking is located at Ward and it's about a 5 minute walk to the studio. The location itself is spacious, nice, and clean. The stretching area is open, so you'll be around others while having your session. You'll also need grip socks during your session. If you don't have any, they sell them there. For the intro session, the socks are included, which is a nice touch. They start by asking about any problem areas, injuries, or places you would like extra attention. For the introductory one-on-one session, they run an assessment scan to check your mobility, posture, activation, and symmetry, which helps them customize your session. For my appointment, I had Joshua as my flexologist and he was amazing. Very friendly, professional, super attentive, and easy to talk to. It honestly felt like I known him for years. He made the whole experience very comfortable and enjoyable. The only downside for me is the price. Memberships start at $219 per month for 4 25-minute one-on-one sessions with a 3-month commitment. Non-member pricing is $65 for a 25-minute one-on-one session or $125 for a 50-minute one-on-one session. They also offer non-membership packages starting at $179 for 3 25-minute sessions and you'll need to use it within a certain period. While it is still a little out of my price range, I can definitely see the value. I really did enjoy my experience at StretchLab and left feeling great.
