FitZone has been my primary place to do workouts because of my busy schedule! Their scheduled class times are great and only last for about 50 minutes. Getting used to high intensity interval training was definitely a challenge for me because I wasn't an active individual prior to taking these classes but the trainers were very helpful!! SHOUT OUT TO ERIC AND PAUL! Although it's group training, they take the time to help you individually to help you out with your form, or even with anything dietary related! I definitely recommend this place if you're ever looking for a place to get some great workouts and meet lots of friendly people! read more

Very helpful and friendly coaches. I have trained with both Eric and Paul and both of them are really engaging throughout the class and really helpful outside the class time as well with providing help with nutrition and posture. read more

Fitzone is awesome, the coaches ( Eric and Paul), the classes, the equipment everything makes it a perfect package. Going there for last 6 months and highly recommend it. read more

I took my first class today at Fit Zone and wow what a class. I usually consider myself a fit person but it kicked my butt! I was sweating and panting after our first round. They strap every person up with heart rate monitors to track their progress and calories burned per class(I prefer the chest straps as they're more accurate). I recommend this for anyone looking to get their fitness journey started. read more

Just completed my third week working out at Fitzone Milpitas. This has got to be the best workout program I have ever done. Eric leads us through a well rounded, whole body workout and I am seeing improvements in my ability and stamina already. I would recommend this to anyone looking to improve their fitness and I love the accountability that the heart rate monitor on the screen gives. I can choose to compete against only myself or the whole class and it really drives me to work hard. read more

I took this class for a week straight and lost exactly 5 pounds. The group training environment helped me to keep pushing hard. I really really recommended to get out the comfort zone and get into the fitzone! The front desk in there are cool too! read more

If you need someone to motivate you to work out to your hardest potential, this is the place for you! My cousin introduced me to Fitzone last month and I really appreciated how welcoming Eric and the staff at Fitzone were! As a newbie, I was pretty confused at first, but everyone was so friendly and helpful that I was able to pick up the routines quickly. Strapped to a heart rate monitor, I was able to push myself harder, but at the same time if I was having a rough day, the instructors made sure I was listening to my body and working out at the pace I needed to. Thank you Eric! Also shoutout to Paul, who focuses on proper form during exercises and whose Instagram account has very helpful tips. Alfred, you're cool too :) read more

So I tried a free class and omg. In all my years of having a standard gym membership, I have never gotten a work out like Fit Zone. Signed up right away and it has been worth every dollar! Things I love about Fit Zone: 1) Heart Rate Monitor - tracks your progress and ensures that you stay at the proper level to burn fat (and not muscle!!). Your progress is shown on TV screen during session, which is a great incentive to push yourself at your own rate 2) Interval training/circuits - Balanced combo of cardio and strength training; keeps you on your toes and you learn a new workout every session. Really fun and intense! (10/10 would not be disciplined enough to do it on my own, definitely need the extra push hehe) 3) Staff - Eric (trainer), Mark, and Alfred are the greatest guys! They all go the extra mile of actually getting to know you on a personal level and helping you in any way. So encouraging & motivating to work out around people who are always smiling :) I'm really shy about exercising, but this program is for people of any fitness level. I always leave drenched in sweat and wake up the next morning completely sore. Can't wait for my monthly progress check!!! read more

The trainers are great and that's the only good thing about Fitzone. Beware of their month to month plan. They make it seem that you can opt-out anytime, only to fool the customer by informing them later that they need a 30-day notice. They will con you into freezing your account as opposed to canceling it and will not give you a true picture. I had to read the entire agreement to understand the buyer's right and negotiate with them to cancel the agreement. Stay away from this place, pretty bad customer service. read more

I participated in a free trial class a couple of weeks ago!! Eric the trainer is awesome! Left there sweating, heart rate was up, burned lots of calories monitored with a heart monitor and visibly seen on the screens. It was a full body work out If you have made new resolutions to lose weight, to get toned and fit... this would be a great start! read more

Great Staff with a great training program. I've been exposed to fitness and nutrition long enough so I know when something is working or not. FitZone works you!!! What's so great about it, is that it's for EVERYONE. It's backed up by science and you can look at where you are in terms of HR, Calories Burned, and how hard you're actually pushing yourself through their devices. The staff aren't just here to coach you during your physical exercises but they're also here to give you great tips on nutrition! Ultimately, this place has good vibes. If you want to be part of a team and burn more than your usual work outs, I would highly recommend this place. read more

I've always been a fan of fitness classes because they push to you work out harder than you normally would on your own, and the fact that you're working out with peers makes it more motivational as well. I wasn't completely sure what to expect when I tried out the class but I was definitely impressed! I like the concept of being able to see your progress displayed on a screen; it made me work harder to try to change the numbers on the screen and get my heart rate up to a certain spot. I really enjoyed the incorporation of the weights with the cardio too! Overall, I had a great experience and I would highly recommend anyone to try out the class. The trainer was also very nice and helpful as well! Oh, and the facility is very clean and laid out nicely. read more

I have always been in good shape, I put in the work at the gym and eat healthy. I had already came to terms that no matter what I do I would never have a six pack. Boy was I wrong. It wasn't until I joined the fitzone family that my fitness was taken to a different level. This is why I'm leaving a review, for the out of shape and in shape people. It's all in the small details. I don't feel that I put anymore work in the gym than I was before but the results are tremendous. Like I said, it's all in the details. You won't be disappointed. read more

Eric is the best. Mark is the best. Paul is the best. Keisha is the best. Every time me and my squad roll in there on Wednesday's, we get our asses handed to us. But we get taken care of. Always new routines with a variety of different equipment. Check this place out read more

Took 2 trial classes and went home sweating both times! Staff/Trainers were great and the class consisted of fun and effective exercises. Heart Rate monitors with visible heart rate on multiple screens helped me know my limits. It was also cool to see how many calories I burned at the end of the class. Trainer provided workout variations for those just starting out and for the Pros! So great for any fitness level. Definitely gonna need to sign up to help shed this upcoholiday weight! :) read more

I'm not normally the competitive type when it comes to training and fitness, but these classes really make me push myself to do better every time! Intrigue with this type of training, I called to inquire on their hours of training. The representative who invited me to come try a class, so I did. Whoa!!!!! My love for workout has always been, but this was another level of workout. The training that Eric demonstrated throughout the class was superb. He highlighted my individual training and gave me points on how to improve to reach my goals and showed me the reasons why I've hit a plateau in my fitness. He touched on nutrition and supplements that can help meet my goals. His explanations demonstrated great knowledge. His passion thrives in the art of transforming every individual that joins his gym. His purpose is great and it shows. It took me that only one visit to commit myself to his journey. I've trained with many coaches in my time, but by far he is the best I've ever encountered. So if you are looking for the best You..... join this gym. Your commitment, hard work and Eric's purpose will make You a better you with the knowledge of your fitness. I've been a member of FitZone for about 3 months and was just recently reflecting on my journey with FitZone towards becoming a better/fit version of myself and I'm truly grateful for the trainers and the whole FitZone family for the motivation they inspire and the dedication they show towards their members. I think they all make the difference and make me want to come back. When I truly can't make a class I wish I was there! My clothes fit me better, I have more energy throughout the day and I'm learning how to take care of my body. I really needed FitZone in my life because I'm very busy during the week and trying to fit a workout with my own motivation was a struggle, but the folks at FitZone keep me coming back! It wasn't until i stepped out of my comfort zone and was introduced to Paul who was the reason i decided to join Fit Zone. He changed my entire outlook on how i want to feel the rest of my life. I would recommend Paul and Eric who is one of the other amazing trainers to anyone who wants to change their life for the better. The classes are so addicting. Everyday I wake up looking forward to finish my day at work and head straight to my 5:00 PM class everyday of the week 5 times a week. Both Eric and Paul are awesome trainers, they plan the workout routines very well with a different routine everyday.. It's hard to keep up but I feel very motivated with their attitude always striving to help us make progress... the classes at Fit Zone is not like an ordinary class.. Everyone that has joined leaves happy, motivated not to mention you will leave feeling fantastic and healthy. read more

I was a typical "couch potato". I used to find it really tough to get motivated to not just work out, but do anything. A few years ago, I tried, but all those theories such as: "Doing just steady-state Cardio will not fetch you many results", "Even with interval training, you will need strength training", "Doing same kind of strength training every day gives you bad results" just pushed me back on to the couch. My old friend visited me recently and told me that I have to do something to get myself out of this unhealthy mode and attitude. That is when I came across Fitzone. I signed up for one month unlimited class. Eric's training strategy includes every day High-intensity Interval + Strength + Body shaping. Also, the strength exercises are not the same every day. The big screen heart rate monitors makes it easy for me to know how much I need to push myself. I started feeling so proud of myself that I am able to burn around 500 calories every day. Within just two weeks, I could see the difference in myself. Not just physically, but psychologically as well. Thank you Eric! I would strongly recommend this training for any one who wants to bring out a drastic change in their strength, weight and overall fitness. read more

It has been exactly 1 month since I started my journey with Fit Zone and I can honestly say it has been one of the best decisions I've made this year. There are so many things I can rave about Fit Zone. First and foremost, a big thanks to Paul and Eric for making sure we have the proper posture before each work out and for consistently pushing us to finish strong. The combination of their motivation and music really makes working out fun and addicting. Aside from the coaches, the staff is also very friendly and accommodating. It was a nice surprise to know that the staff actually took the time to memorize each and every one's names. I am most definitely impressed especially since my name is not very common and is almost always mispronounced. I really appreciate the level of care and thoughtfulness from the coaches and staff all around. It was very easy to join the Fit Zone family. Everyone is just so encouraging and fun to work out with that you almost forget you're actually there to sweat. I also find it great that Fit Zone uses technology to their advantage. I LOVE that they have an app so you can sign up for classes ahead of time and set up a reminder on your calendar so you never miss a class. They also use a heart rate monitor to track your progress for each work out session. If you're a competitive person, you can definitely use this to your advantage and let it push you further. I have been looking for the perfect HIIT class and I found it in Fit Zone. If you value your health and need to get back on track, Fit Zone is the perfect place for you. Join us and be part of the family! read more

I have been going to fitzone for the last 1.5-2 months and really love it. All you have to do is show up and the coaches Eric and Paul will take care of you. The workouts are challenging but not impossible and I have to admit that the 50 mins really fly by. They give you the individual attention to help you push yourself and ensure proper form. Overall I am very happy working out here and recommend this to anyone who wants to get fit. Try a class and you will look forward to coming here to work out with Eric and Paul. read more

When I joined Fit Zone in June of last year, I did not realize how much I would get out of it. From the workouts to the environment to the awesome coaches, I have never felt more motivated to work out. I ended up working out every day in the summer, and I always come back whenever I'm home from college. Before I joined, the idea of adopting a fit lifestyle seemed daunting and losing weight seemed impossible. However, I gained so much more than I expected--not only did I lose weight and become stronger physically but also became much stronger mentally and completely changed how I felt about myself and my capabilities. Fit Zone started a new fit and healthy lifestyle for me, and I will never turn back. Thank you to the coaches Eric and Paul and to Alfred, Kesha, and Mark for supporting me on my fitness journey. read more

I moved to Milpitas for a couple of months and wanted to join a gym that had flexible class times and challenging workouts. I received much more than I asked for! Not only are the trainers skilled, supportive and caring, but they encourage everyone to work hard each class! They know each individuals limits and skills to ensure everyone is challenging themselves, all while ensuring the moves are performed properly. Lastly, the encouraging environment and consistent support from the other members is fantastic! Whether you have experience HIIT workouts before or not, give this place a try! You will love it and feel great after every workout! read more

I have been going to Fitzone Milpitas for group cardio classes for a while now and I think this is pretty good. It has a family atmosphere and you build up personal connections with the trainers in small group settings. Eric is my trainer and he is also an owner of the facility. He is very personable and very approachable all the time. The workout routines focuses on different heart rate zones stressing out different cardio zones for maximum benefits. The heart rate is tracked by either a chest band or a wrist band and current heart rate is displayed on the TV screens so you know how hard you are working all the time. The system sends you email about your workout summary after the workout and you can also log in their website site for tracking your workout history. I find it pretty helpful to have a records of how I am doing. The workout routine rotates among [upper body+core], lower body and full body workouts Monday to Saturday. While going to regular gym by yourself, most people focus on upper body (biceps or chest) as I was doing before I started her. After joining this class, I figured out building strong lower body is pretty important as well. I have now improved a lot in building strength on my leg muscles which has helped me with the knee pains I have having before. Overall, I highly recommend this place to everyone who wants to keep daily workout routine with a good family atmosphere and know good workout techniques. read more

I went to FitZone and had a tough and sweaty workout. I love the transitions throughout the class, from rowing, to the treadmill, TRx bands, to weights. It's a high paced high energy class and seeing your heart monitor helps you push yourself. I loved this class and will keep coming. read more

Giving FitZone five stars specifically because of my history and loyalty to Milpitas Star Fitness. Although I know they are separate entities, all staff and personal trainers are extremely extremely helpful, kind, and passionate about fitness, leaving a homey and genuine environment to work out and reach fitness goals! Before Fit Zone I was doing Soul Cycle and regular weight lifting at the gym but the problem with a cycling class is it gets very repetitive and often times I lack with Cardio when only focusing on weights. Fit Zone was enjoyable for me because of the circuit style training which allows me to do BOTH cardio and weights, burning the most calories I can in 50 minutes. I have done multiple classes now and after each one I feel stronger as the progress shows. What is also nice about this class is the heart rate monitors that you wear which records calories burned, heart rate %, and points (I believe you receive points for prizes when you reach certain zones). These numbers show up on a large TV screen so you can ACTUALLY SEE YOUR PROGRESS IN MOTION, which is GREAT since all other fitness classes don't have this feature. Its very motivational and seeing a physical measurement of my performance in the class so I can continue to push myself. If you are into group fitness types of classes and they motivate you, I highly recommend Fit Zone because of the intimacy of these classes. I've been to Orange Theory but it is very cookie cutter. Fit Zone's classes are designed with more flexibility and variety. VARIETY=non-repetitive, not-boring classes. Different work outs each class as well as within. Its like...going to a Private University (FT) VS Public (OT), you get a lot more attention at Fit Zone, the instructor gets to know you and your progress. There is truly a community here and that is why I can continue to reach my fitness goals and feel great. In comparison to Orange Theory, Fit Zone's equipment is not as "high tech"...for example they have regular rowers and Orange Theory has water power rowers. So if you're looking for an ALL OUT fitness class with the highest quality rowers, DJ in the room blasting live music, the whole sh'bang...that won't be at Fit Zone. But if you want to pay 40% less and don't need the completely luxury of the aforementioned aspects, I do say that Fit Zone by far more worth it. read more

Not good for weight lifting, high rating is prolly for fitness class. Their gym suck. Old and broken equipment

My friend introduced me to Fit Zone. Every word she had to say about Fit Zone was very positive. She came back from each work out happy and feeling good. This motivated me to give it a try. Eric introduced himself to me and explained the class. I felt very welcomed. I like how the class begins with cardio and you have a choice between the treadmill or rowing machine. I just love options! I went on a full body day. That is the kind of work out I go for. I liked the mix of weights and cardio. It is a good break. Eric explains each circuit thoroughly with a model. He is also motivating and believes in all participants. You wear a heart rate monitor that is displayed on the screens. The heart rate monitor motivates me to keep going until I am in the orange zone. All the equipment is clean. At the end of the class I was sore everywhere. It was a good full body workout. I just knew I had to come back! I haven't had such a good workout in a long time. I am excited for my new work outs with Fit Zone!! read more

When I first started training at fitzone since day one, I knew right away what the difference between working out with just a trainer and working out with a bunch of other people was. And watching other people work out by the same trainer makes me more motivated then just working out with just a trainer and no one beside you, what's great about this program is the eric is a very motivated hard working pushing machine. Trying to get to your goals as fast as your heart beats no matter how fat or slim you're, you can even track your heart rate, calories and points that you earn and those points earn you fitzone swag which is so cool!
