Had the KO fries added steak. Delicious! Love the food here everything is good and healthy.

Im always looking forward to a lunch post workout and Fit social is the best option. So many healthy dishes and such a great deal when you use your Fit discount. I only wish their kitchen was open a little later, especially with summer coming up.

I don't get why people hate this place. My experiences here have been so positive. Yes it's expensive but it's on a beach in San Diego. What do you expect? The atmosphere is great. The food and drinks are too.

Finally had a chance to check out For social - newest beach club in San Diego. As a gym member I was able to use lounge chairs without any minimum spend. Love the club area, lots of lounge chairs, tables and chairs for dining, bar area and also tall tables if you need to work. Menu is on the healthier side and not too expensive. Difficult to find parking in July, but understandable. WiFi not working.

Great place, great venue for an event. The views are breathtaking. Food and drinks were good, and the bartender service was excellent.

Ahí tuna

Decided to stop here after skating on the board walk. This new extension of fit athletic club seems like a beach club you'd see somewhere in another country. Beach chairs, bars, etc. It was pretty empty but very clean. I do enjoy that the menu is very health oriented. I had the ahi tuna. It was pretty bland and lacked flavor. My friends had the pesto chicken wrap and they really liked it, Overall, not sure how great of a business move this was for them but we shall see. Staff was nice and good service.

They replaced former beach club branding + menu, but the great people and vibe stayed. The menu is definitely on the 'healthy' side, but they do have options like wings and fries for folks that haven't fully 'converted' to the fit brand. Also the cocktails are great - bartenders and staff are quick, responsive, and super friendly. The view and peace is phenomenal. They'll also play great music on high quality speakers - bass isn't too high either during the day so a pleasant experience even with dogs around. My favorite spot in mission by far for a relaxing weekend to recharge for the days to come.

Salmon bowl

Usually visit this place for the CRSSD concerts but decided to try lunch here. Overall a great vibe, right next to the beach with a lot of people coming in to have drinks or food by the bar area or on the high tables. There were also quite a few people sunbathing and a DJ playing some music. The food was average. We ordered salmon plate, fish tacos and ahi tuna crudo. The ahi tuna crudo was delicious with corn salsa and bits of jalapeño providing a good kick of heat. The salmon bowl was also delicious, cooked well and tasty. The fish tacos were really tiny, felt a bit smaller than the Mexican street tacos but I may be wrong on the size. Regardless they were too small to fill me up so I also ordered some chicken wings. Good but nothing to write home about.

Great little spot on the beach to enjoy live bands in a group setting. Prices are reasonable for drinks.

Ask the Community - Fit Social

Is it dog friendly?

Well I seen a cat inside so I assume that a dog would be fine.

Is there usually a long wait?

I had visited in the place in November on Friday at 5PM. No crowds. By 7PM the dining hall upstairs was full, still plenty of seats on the balcony. So, in fall or winter, dress well and enjoy the view.

Are kids allowed?

Yes :-) We brought my nephew and I saw other children as well.

Do y'all have a happy hour?

They have temporary put that on the shelf until Covid pandemic is under control. I just asked that very question during normal happy hour the other day.

Does anyone know if the beach house is now open? If so, what are their hours of operation during Covid, and what are the safety measurements being taken?

Beach House is currently open for dine-in and take-out from 11am-9pm! We are currently following state and local regulations to create the most safe and pleasant experience for our guests and employees.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes I've seen dogs there, they don't have any problem with animals. It's San Diego and it's on the beach everyone there very friendly and happy!… Read more

Anyone tried the bacon wrapped hot dog?

Does anyone know where there is a link for their happy hour?

Hello! We currently do not offer happy hour specials and look forward to exploring it in the fall. However, we do have Industry Days on Monday and Wednesday starting June 6 all summer.

When do the flobarrel and florider reopen?

This was an attraction at Belmont Park, which is closed. I asked while I was there last month and no one could give me a concrete answer.

Things to know: there are…read moremultiple lines based on the tacos/ food you want: (1) fries, (2) lengua/cabeza, (3) carne asada, and (4) adobado. You wait in each line if you want multiple. Longest line is adobado, BUT lines move real quick. So even if the line is down the side of the restaurant, it goes real quick. After you get your food, you go to the cashier (so you can hit all lines then pay). For two of us, we ordered: 2 Adobada Tacos 2 Adobada asada Vampiros 2 carne asada Tacos Our favorite was the vampiro. Highly recommend to get those. There is seating outside as you will see waiting in line OR you can go upstairs. There is a small seating area upstairs too. We just had to wait for 5 minutes for someone else to finish up, then shared the table with someone else.

The Lengua is soooooo tender and delicious. This time i didn't enjoy the Carne Asada tacos, they had too strong of a char/smoke flavor that overpowered each bite. Service was super fast and friendly. Parking downtown always sucks so either deal with it or go to one of their other spots. This location is almost always busy but definitely avoid at night on the weekends. I hate sitting upstairs, feels stuffy, but I do like the window seats on the first level (great for people watching) or the benches on the sidewalk.

They had the buy 2 get 1 free deal which pushed me to try new meats since I always stick to adobada. ADOBADA HANDS DOWN FIREEE! I love me a good al pastor taco and they make it just right. Super flavorful, juicy and packed w/ meat. I'm always hesitant to try asada because I haven't found a good spot here in SD, but this one was bomb! The meat had great flavor, a smokey taste and was loaded with guac. I'd order one again. The lengua was perfect too, super tender and fell apart just right. They don't skimp on the meats either. Most of the salsas were tasty and had great flavor and the habanero had the perfect kick ! I heard of this spot because my friend had them cater her baby shower and I had to come try the actual spot. Def brought the same energy. Inside is nice and has a good vibe, love all the decor. Service was super sweet! Horchata was bomb too, not to sweet and they said it's homemade! Parking.. good luck, but def worth trying. 10000/10

However I took mine to go, and it was a mess. It was literally dripping oil from the burrito and made such a mess that I didn't even want to eat the 2nd half after eating the first. To be honest it wasn't very tasty either. I didn't even take a pic of the burrito because I was so focused on it not ruining the counter space in the hotel. It served it's purpose of fueling me, but definitely wouldn't recommend it or go back.

These tacos were delicious, juicy, packed, and crafted so wonderfully. The people were very nice, and i loved that they had the salsas at the table with chili oil. I had never thought that chili oil would be good with tacos? But it works! The carne asada here is the star of the show. We had a al pastor one and it was ok but not better than the carne. This place was so good we came twice on our trip (we had wanted to try new restaurants every day but this place was so good we had to come again) - now we did go to Tacos el Gordo and all I'll say is if you love carne asada go to Chulas, but if you like a pork taco go to Tacos el Gordo! **One of my main issues with tacos is that the tortillas are thin/dry? I'm a handmade kind of tortilla person don't like the banderitas brand style of tortillas - now they said they didn't make these by hand but they're definitely not the prepackaged ones.
