A great oceanside spot to brunch or lunch. Large portion of eggs bacon toast and potatoes woth a side of flap jacks was just perfect for 2. Food to the left and bar to the right with inside seating but the real spot is on the ocean front deck. Smiling, friendly service from the cooks. Kind of old school as they call out your name on the megaphone when the food is ready. Barstools on the edge and high top tables with plenty of seating. Nice local spot to enjoy

Nice spot right in the beach! Drinks were tasty and the food was great. Definitely a place to bring your friends for lunch and drinks to get your day started.

If you live in San Diego ( or just visiting), love the beach, good food and drinks with a view and like to meet cool people.....Come here.

Love coming here everytime I'm in town visiting. Popular bar that's gets busy quickly! Limited seating inside and outside on patio so I recommend coming early. Enjoyed a mango cart beer and shrimp burrito. Perfect view and location on the beach!

Staff was friendly and quick. The ghost pepper spicy margarita was delicious. They had several different cocktails and beer selections. We did not try the food but it looked so good. Decent size menu. View was great. Right off the beach. Plenty of seating.

I haven't lived in SoCal for a while butwhenever I come down to visit, like 3x a year, we head on over to Lahaina - typically a line but it moves well - security to get in is reasonable - I don't need to be carded (58) but was once - thank you very much - I'm the older side of the crown with my husband but theres no shade from the younger people- they are always starting a conversation with you or giving you a seat when they leave - you feel like you're at a backyard party - the drinks are stiff and fairly priced (Im in NorCal) and also the food isn't bad - the fish tacos were pretty good, and also the rolled tacos. We meet up with my youngest sister (29) and she brings her hot young friends and they just act like we are part of their friend group - sister likes the pina colada with a rum floater - can't argue - it was good - but I stick to Tito's to avoid the hangover- hope to see you ASAP, Lahaina - love watching the sunset from the outside deck - LOVE!

This place is epic; the atmosphere and ocean views are awesome. If you're lucky enough to grab a spot at the edge of their balcony, closest to the beach, congrats, you won. You can now sip on that cold beverage and watch the world go by with a stunning Pacific Ocean backdrop. The hours will melt away while you're basking in near perfect weather with a stream of people cruising past on the boardwalk.

Drove from out of town and arrived in mission beach around 9:30 which was an hour and a half before our brunch reservation. Unsure of where to go for the time we started walking and came across Lahaina Beach house which my friend said we should check out. The view from their patio is so beautiful and they have seating inside and outside which is great! It wasn't busy due to it being so early but we sat at the bar and had a drink while the bartender recommended places we should go and see which helped us a lot! The drinks were great, the service was wonderful, and the view even better. We came back our second day in san diego, it was around 2 pm on Saturday and the vibe was completely different in a good way. There were so many people it was definitely a busy place to be. Right on the beach, cocktails and pitchers of beer, it is every college kids dream at the beach!

Last year around this time we peeked our head in to see the space, but didn't stay. Located upstairs, the venue is large and well-lit, with windows overlooking Pacific Beach and the boardwalk. When we arrived, we were greeted by a local patron at the bar. He noticed my 49ers hat and made a joke about keeping me and the owner away from each other, because he is also a Niners fan. Immediately loved the vibes. There were a decent amount of people there for it being Christmas Eve, but it was still pretty open. We were seated at a long high-top table for our group of 7, with one kid. The restaurant was all decorated for the holidays, and they had a pop-up situation with some fun themed drinks and even a giant inflatable igloo for people to play in! We ordered a variety of beverages, many from the "Tinsel & Tides" menu, including the Candied Cranberry Punch, Maple Smoked Old Fashioned, and Spiced Peartini. All of which were fun, and received positive feedback on taste. In addition to the holiday drinks, they have quite an extensive list of around 14 cocktails, and 2 mocktails. The cocktail prices range from $15 - $18, and even have fun little photos on the menu next to the description. They have a section of 6 specialty margaritas, over a dozen canned beverage options, and over 2 dozen beverages on draft. You can find an entire page of wine options. From bubbles, to rosé, to whites and reds. You can buy it by the glass or the bottle. Beyond drinks, there's a nice looking food menu. Mostly seafood and Asian inspired, the menu featured items such as crispy calamari, crab Rangoon dip, ahi tuna poke, ceviche, sashimi, and various sushi rolls. There are several soup and salad options, as well as a dozen or so entree options, and a half dozen side dishes such as fries, coleslaw, veggies, and mac & cheese. There's also a brunch menu, which is available Saturday & Sunday from 9am - 2pm, and includes some boozy drink options like a Bloody Mary and bottomless mimosas. There are around 8 entree options, and another 8 or so brunch themed sides. While we didn't get to try the food this time around, the menu looked good enough that we are planning to come back for a legit meal. There is an "Oyster and Martini Wednesday" from 3pm to close, where oysters are 50% off, and martinis are $10. We happened to be there on a Wednesday, however the deal wasn't applicable due to the holiday. Our server, Destiny, was friendly and helpful with info and drink recommendations. The vibes were great here, and everybody was very welcoming. This is definitely a place we'll be adding to the regular rotation during our trips to PB! IG: @bbnem.eats

Throw in the two managers (woman with dark hair, guy with a fun pink golf polo) were there to assist when we thought it was going to rain. Menu is diverse and something for everyone (or most). Beer and beverage list are great. Ample seating in different areas makes for a great experience. As I understand it, Moray's is the outside/patio dining portion, while Oceana is the indoor fine-dining situation. I believe they pretty much have very similar menus, with Oceana having some additional high-end offerings. Came out to Moray's to visit my cousin who was in town for work. Since my cousin now has her most adorable infant, she wanted to keep it simple and dine at the hotel restaurant, which was fine by me. While I waited for them to come down from their room, I got us a patio table and ordered a delicious $10 draft. Mixed drinks were all hovering around $19 each. The server was friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which I greatly appreciated. I went with the reasonably priced Steak Frites, $36, which was to stated to come with Muenster cheese and caramelized onions on top, and served with a side chimichurri. While the steak was wonderfully cooked to a solid med. rare as requested, it seemingly had very little flavor. Perhaps had it not been covered with a wealth of some DEEPLY caramelized onions and an abundance of Muenster cheese, I might have been able to taste the seasonings and/or the beef. While I love some deeply caramelized onions on a salt-laden burger, the extent to which these were caramelized left them seeming soggy and too sweet for the steak pairing. Add in the several slices of melted Muenster cheese on top, and flavourwise I could hardly tell I was eating a steak. Ultimately, the abundance of toppings overwhelmed the steak. The accompanying chimichurri was also a little strange. While I appreciate that it was diced and not blended, it was very heavy on the oil, while very light on the herbs. The frites were nicely salted and good on their own, however a decent amount became soggy from being under the steak. The burger on the other hand looked excellent. My cousin devoured his in what seemed like a split second. I could have went for the burger, however at $27 I perceived the $36 steak frites to be of a better value. Again, shout out to our server. They were on-point! Thanks Moray's!

At the time we came in there weren't many people, but a crowd started gathering after about 30 minutes or so, which was nice! Our food came out - with a decent amount of wait time - and it looked great! We ordered a couple of cocktails from the menu as well, which we got right away. I had gotten something similar to an Espresso Martini, but the drink fell short in both the taste and the presentation. My beer battered fish tacos were good, but nothing extraordinary. I believed they lacked a bit of taste...perhaps seasoning? The jam burger on the other hand, extremely juicy and flavorful! The fries were nice and crispy & seasoned. Overall, the food and drink were a bit inconsistent, but it may also very well be the items I ordered. For that, I'm docking it one star, but again it may come down to my taste buds and previous items I've had from other grills. I'd definitely give it a try, again, and keep exploring their menu.
